Had my ev charger fitted today , the team turned up early and immediately and professionally got on with the task. Two hours later job is done. App was explained and functioning very impressed so far!

Great experience

From booking to fitting a fantastic service. The charger works great and appers to be of good quality. Also the App once set up is very easy to use The engineer was very knowledgeable helpful and very tidy thank you.due to my experience I would have no problem recommending Nextgencharge

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. Their installer drilled through our sewer pipe and caused a severe leak. He had no idea what he was doing. We have an expensive repair bill and despite calling and sending letter have had no response. There is no after sales care or support.
Have now emailed Jordon. Phoned many times always engaged and sent two messages to online chat with my phone number. I don’t think you want to resolve this because you are a scam company! Spoken to manager now but not got anywhere. Will keep you posted

Very frustrating experience with this…

Very frustrating experience with this EV charger. It doesn’t properly support smart energy tariffs, so I can’t access cheaper charging rates—completely defeats the purpose.

I tried multiple times with support and my energy provider, but nothing is resolved and there’s no clear answer.

The worst part was the sales process—constant calls before I agreed, but once installed and issues started, the salesperson completely ignored my calls and messages.

Now it’s more of a burden than a benefit.

Avoid this charger at any cost.

I’m trying to return it and get a refund but don’t know how. If anyone has managed this, please help.

Excellent service

Excellent service engineer was fast, friendly, tidy and knowledgeable. Read a few reviews about late and no shows but this guy was prompt and contacted me before to confirm. 5 stars

From start to finish of installation…

From start to finish of installation the process has been so easy, the fitter “ I didn’t get his name” was so understanding and fitted all where I needed him to go in even through a few tight areas all explained and the charge was up and running in a couple of hours.

Next gen sorted it thanks.

After a few problems at first they came through to sort everything out to my full satisfaction it wasn't there problem it was a intermittent problem with the charger.Replaced the charger and working fine now.

Wow! Amazing results Thanks to Jason

Wow! Jason was absolutely amazing, very thorough and knows his stuff! We are new to all of this and he explained everything great and I’m really happy with my new charger!

Fast fitting, no mess, looks great and the app that comes with it is great too.

Jason is a credit to this company and I will be recommending!

I would give a 0 if I could

I would give a 0 if I could. Quoted £849 based on telling them the cable needs to go all the way round the house and sending 10 photos / videos. Installer arrived and told me it’s going up to £1,200 due to more cable needed than expected. Felt like a planned rip off.

In hindsight I'd have gone with Octopus…

In hindsight I'd have gone with Octopus or someone else. The installation was ok and the installer was sound. I just think the company is a bit naff. One lad rang me to sort the issue 6.30 at night on a Saturday but I explained I was in the pub so he arranged for 10 the next day, then didn't get in touch. He later said he doesn't work Sundays ? He arranged for a week and a half on Friday instead. I waited in the house for someone and he didnt get in touch again. This time it was because he said he'd been on holiday for two weeks? (Arranged 10 days previously, not 14)

Then after installation they 'couldn't find the payment'.

I've asked about an issue where the electric nozzle doesn't fit into the holster / dock on the wall with the rubber protector on it but yet no one has replied.

You're better off going with a named brand. I think these are just chasing in while the government are offering grants.

Really good and smooth experience from…

Really good and smooth experience from start to finish. I rang up got booked in quickly and adam handled the installation. Poper professional neat wiring, no mess and made sure I understood the app before he left. Price was fair too compared to others I checked. Happy customer.

Having reviewed a number of companies which offered this service, I chose Nextgen who arrived as per scheduled even after I had to cancel a date. Efficient service with good tech support on the phone and when I had a problem they responded very quickly.

Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience. This company wasted two full days of my time attempting to install an EV charger, only to leave me with a faulty unit. They also failed to obtain the required approval from the electricity network provider, even though my property has a looped supply, which should have been checked beforehand. Instead of resolving the issue, they then sent me an invoice asking for payment. When I called to explain that the charger was faulty and asked them to come and remove it as I had decided to go with another company, I was told I would be charged £100. The customer service team had no idea what they were doing and were not helpful at all. Very frustrating experience and extremely poor service.Please pay the extra £100 and go with a reputable company Instead.
