A massive thank you to Helen Dyson at New Home Solutions on the sale of my home using the assisted move scheme with our builder, Bloor.
Helen took on our case once we sold our house through them (sold within 5 days) she has been so helpful, determined, professional and compassionate throughout. We was given a tight deadline with our buyers of 3 months to complete and with Helen's continuous help we got there and completed in the 3 month window.

She is a credit to New Home Solutions and I'll always remember the positive experience I had with dealing with Helen throughout our house sale. Thank you so much.

The purchase of our house would not have been processed as quickly or efficiently without the support of Vanessa at New Home Solutions. She was particularly helpful at reaching out to all parties involved to ensure that progression was achieved and we are extremely grateful for that.

Please, please read the reviews for this company and believe the one star ones over the others! The fact they name names in the 5 star ones is sycophantic! They are faceless individuals in an office in Leeds! If you live elsewhere don’t go with them, they have no clue as to your local area for example you live in Norfolk!! School places, infrastructure etc Avoid them like the plague!

During the sale of our house we had issues with our buyers solicitors making this process even more stressful however, Helen Dyson went above and beyond to help us. She was proactive throughout and the one part of our chain we felt like we didn’t have to manage ourselves. I would recommend New Home Solutions - especially if they assign Helen to your case!

Was way to deal with and informative

Rude staff who cannot be bothered to return a call . Don't tell you when your offer is accepted that you have to complete purchase within 4 weeks , if you cannot they threaten to put your property back on the market.. leaving you £££ out of pocket . They are not based in York as the website suggests and you can never speak to the same person twice . Avoid at all costs !

Helen has been a fantastic help throughout the selling process - always keeping me informed and very good communication with my buyer.
She is a great asset to the company with her professional and personable customer care.

When our house sale unexpectedly fell through, we were left feeling uncertain, but Karly and the whole team at New Homes Solutions turned things around immediately. They got our property back on the market quickly and efficiently, taking all the stress out of the process.

Karly has been absolutely standout, always ahead of the ball at every step. She kept us fully informed at every stage, called us back exactly when she said she would, and did a fantastic job of keeping us positive and reassured throughout the new offer process. Thanks to her hard work and support, we are now at the SSC stage and moving forward again.

New Homes Solutions were acting on behalf of my seller. Vanessa made contact with me early after the offer had been accepted and was extremely courteous and professional. This attitude continued throughout what was a lengthy process. I received regular updates from her, including her finding things out and informing me prior to my conveyancer informed me.
I felt Vanessa chased down and tied up many of the loose ends, saving me time, even when it wasn’t necessarily “her job”.
As a business owner she is exactly the sort of person I would want working in my organisation so I hope this is recognised.
Others that I had contact with were also proactive and helpful but she stood apart.

We had a great experience with New Home Solutions from the outset - they generated strong interest in our property securing multiple offers, with the first coming in within just four days of the house going up for sale and an agreement to proceed reached in around 2 weeks. Axel was fantastic throughout the process. He worked hard to get us a quick and fair agreement on both the sale price and the buyers. Communication was excellent - we were in regular contact over those few days, and he kept us updated throughout, which made a huge difference during what was quite a tense time. We are grateful for the support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

House buying can be a stressful time, but Helen definitely helped alleviate that stress. When a little intervention was needed through the process, she was prompt and ensured to chase all parties involved as well as keeping me informed when she could. It was a rush towards the end of the process due to mortgage offer expiring (due to a previous failed purchase with no relation to new homes solutions) and I am not sure we could of got there without Helen’s involvement - so thank you :)

We identified a new-build home that we wanted to purchase and were encouraged by the developer to use New Home Solutions as a way to save on estate agency fees. Unfortunately, our experience was far from positive.

The process required us to obtain three separate valuations and involve two local estate agents, resulting in multiple sets of photographs being taken. This was time-consuming, disruptive, and far more stressful than expected.

We were also advised by the builder that all estate agency fees would be covered. However, one of the agents we selected could not be used because New Home Solutions were unable to cover their fees, which contradicted what we had been told at the outset.

To make matters worse, our property was listed using poor-quality photographs that did not do the home justice. These images were published without being checked or approved by us first.

It also became apparent that the valuation strategy seemed geared towards achieving a quick sale rather than securing the best possible price. I would strongly advise anyone considering this scheme to challenge any valuation provided and seek independent advice.

Customer service was another major disappointment. There was no dedicated account manager, and we were continually passed between different people and departments. This lack of ownership made communication frustrating and contributed to an overall poor experience.

In the end, we decided to withdraw from the scheme and try to sell our home privately. Looking back, and having read other reviews, we’re very glad we made that decision before the process became even more problematic.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend New Home Solutions.
