A great service

A great service. I was very pleased to find Newblinds made extra wide Venetian blinds which I could not find on other sites. The blinds were easy to order online, they arrived within three days and were good quality. I was a toggle short for one of the blinds so contacted them by email to ask them if they could send me one and to my surprise it arrived the next day. The only negative was the brackets for the blinds were difficult to click the blinds in to.

Great blinds and quick delivery

Great blinds and quick delivery . Being ten foot long not many companies can provide them.
Good quality and easy to fit , would have been nice if screws were provided like other blind companies do but overall a great experience.

Great service from start to finish

Great service from start to finish. Ordered a sample then placed an order which was delivered in the time frame specified. Only moan is that the blinds were left outside placed up against the window. If they knocked on the door then didn’t hear it and they must have left. Not your fault it was the courier. I am very happy with my shutters and would highly recommend to anyone

So sorry to hear that the courier company just left the parcel outside, this shouldn't happen without your or our say so. The driver should have taken the parcel back with him and left a card if you were out and redelivered at a more convenient time.

Item is just as described.
Didn’t hear anything for an over a week so contacted them. They advised they were awaiting stock to arrive. Not a problem but some communication wouyhave helped. Item arrived a few days later and was perfect.

Don't say you haven't been warned...

I spent in excess of £1,000 on a electric blind which went faulty within the first 6 months. New Blinds were quick to blame 'Paint on the rail' as the fault despite me having video evidence to prove the motor was faulty. I escalated the issue to the MD, I supplied the video evidence but they just fobbed me off. they have not tested the motor, the have not carried out any diagnostics they just blame me as a consumer! absolutely disgusting approach to customer service. I am now looking to pursue NEW BLINDS through the small claims court.
buy from them at your own risk...
you only realise how bad someone is when it all goes wrong!

I’m sorry to see that this has been your takeaway, particularly given the lengths we went to in order to investigate the matter carefully and reach a fair resolution.

To clarify for other readers, the blind was returned to the factory for inspection and testing. On receipt it was not operating and had entered the motor’s built-in obstacle protection mode, which is designed to stop operation if resistance within the rail exceeds safe limits.

During inspection, evidence of significant spray paint contamination was found within the headrail and track, with dried paint interfering with the turning of the louvres. This included paint on the electrical contact points. We also shared photographic evidence directly with the motor manufacturer, who confirmed that this type of contamination can affect performance and is not covered under warranty.

In addition, videos provided during the dispute showed that the motor assembly had been partially disassembled and the belt driven using a power tool. This is not representative of normal operating conditions and further compromises the reliability of any subsequent diagnosis.

Despite this, we were able to return the headrail to a working and usable condition, albeit not performing to expected speed parameters. In addition, we agreed to replace the track at cost, and we have also agreed to replace some fabric following your later feedback regarding the hems not being level on some of the louvres.

We always aim to handle faults fairly and professionally, and where a manufacturing defect is confirmed we replace without hesitation. In this case, the conclusions were based on physical inspection and manufacturer feedback rather than assumption.

Perfect Fit Roller Blinds

The blinds look great and fit well. Easy to install. Some small cover plates were missing but customer service team responded quickly to have them sent out. Came quickly but -1 star because no ETD or delivery pre-alert received (ordered during Christmas break so that was probably the reason).

Great blinds, great customer service.

I needed blinds throughout the house. I bought a couple. The cheapest they have, I think. Frankly, they're great. Don't look cheap, work well, look good. I bought more. All of them (says my builder) went up fine. Until one turned out to have a fault. Please read on - this is why the company's great. I emailed them about it. They asked for more details. Within four days of the initial email I received a replacement. Pretty darned good customer service for 2026. I will buy more.

The blind colour we ordered was…

The blind colour we ordered was discontinued so we got an email to let us know. Offered a slightly different colour which was fine but when it arrived it was not as described on the website (aluminum not wood) and the metal slat at the bottom of the blind (Venetian style) was full of rust and the paint was bubbling. Finally, no fitting instructions included.

Review amended - Feb 2026. Aftercare fantastic and no quibbles about collection and refund of the faulty blind. Rating changed to 5 star as once the issue was identified New Blinds couldn't have responded and rectified the situation any more quickly.

Looking at your order I can see that you have ordered the from the Aluminium range. I have looked through the emails but cannot see that you have reported the issues you have raised with our customer service team. 

Please could you send over a photo showing the rust and bubbling and we will get this looked at urgently for you as they should not have arrived like this.

Somfy Blind Charger

The new charger came and now able to charge the Somfy blinds and get them working again.
However the delivery was very slow even allowing for Christmas and New Year and relatively expensive for such a small package

Overall very satisfied.

These blinds are of good quality and reasonably priced and they look great. I ordered 10 in total. I made a mistake with the original order (I had only ordered 9). Emailed the company and was told that I would have to place a separate order for the other one. Anna advised that she would ensure that the factory knew of is and would hold back the original order so that all the blinds could be delivered together and this is what happened. My other mistake (yes, another one!) was to assume that the glass of each of the conservatory windows was the same depth. The brackets for the top windows were too small therefore did not fit. I contacted them again and Anna arranged (at extra cost) to send out the larger brackets. I could not argue about the extra cost as it was entirely my fault and it wasn't much.
Overall very happy with my interactions the only frustrating bit was not being able to phone the company and actually speak to someone. This said, all my emails were acted upon quickly and efficiently and all issues resolved.

Please note that the factory cut off lead times for before Christmas delivery were the 05/12/2025, 5pm, so any orders placed after this date were subject to start production on our return back from the Christmas close down from the 5th January 2026 and put on our standard lead times of 5-7 working days from this date. There was a note online advising all this information prior to ordering.

Nice blind, but you cannot call them for love nor money.
