Definitely not a trusted company

Definitely not a company you want to deal with. I have been a loyal Nespresso customer for over 5 years. I recently returned my Vertuo next machine for repairs because every now and then, there was some signs of water leak at the base of the machine. Nespresso had assessed the machine as unrepairable as they noticed some infestation of insects in the machine and therefore deemed the machine unrepairable. Nothing about the leak and in fact, blaming the leak to insects eating rubber tubing which I am highly dubious about. The machine was out of warranty and they offered for me to buy a new machine or have the machine returned. I asked them to return the machine back to me as I knew technicians that were able to repair the machine and was seeking a second opinion. When they finally returned the machine, the water canister was completely shattered and the lid of the water canister was wedged between the top and bottom section of the machine that prevented the machine from being unlocked. When I rang them and showed evidence of the damage, they refused to do anything about it and said the machine was deemed unrepairable and they would not take any responsibility for someone else’s repairing the machine. I told them that it was not their decision to make whether I sought out an alternative repairer and was not asking them to accept any responsibility. I just wanted the machine back in the same useable condition as when I had sent it to them. Again they acceptable zero liability and said there was nothing they can do about it except provide a small token discount for a new machine. This was not acceptable as all I wanted was to have back my machine in the same useable condition before I sent it away for repairs. Despite my records showing that I spend over a thousand dollars per year on pods, they refused to compensate me for further sustained damage to my machine which is now definitely well beyond repair. Definitely not a trusted organisation who have very little respect for loyal customers.

If I could give it no stars

If I could give it no stars, I would. I spent an hour and a half waiting to place an order, and I was still waiting for a registration form to fill out. I had a headache by the time it was over. Never again. Malaysian phone service is not recommended — big no no.

WARNING

WARNING - Do not give your email to Nesspresso . You can beg, you can plead, you can hit unsubcribe a million times. I called them and threatend to report them for breach of privacy act (something I am familiar with) and STILL they send junk mail.

I am beggining to think they are deliberatly tryign to rage bait me!

So I have reported them and hopefully some in this good earther will stop their spamming.

Im the mean time, do not under circumstances give them your email or phone number.

Advertise 2-4 business days for…

Advertise 2-4 business days for delivery and when following up why still not dispatched after 4 business days, they failed to answer and then sent me a email saying would be dispatched in another 4 business days. Still waiting, but they were quick to take my money at point of order. Had I known, I would not have placed the order as unavailable to receive the order beyond Nespresso’s advertised time frames.

Dodgy corporation

This is another dodgy corporation. They have my credit card in their payment system under my login. Unfortunately I cannot remove the older card as I added a new one. Must be careful with this appalling organisation. I do hope someone will hack their system and all personal info and credit cards get exposed. Then… a class action will follow to punish them in court.

Hopeless

Hopeless virtually non existent customer service.
Ordered 100 capsules 1 July, app says "Shipped". 10 days later the Filipino call centre says there was an error in processing so we try again. 9 days later still no delivery. Call centre says cannot use our address due to it's "format". But same address has been no problem for several years. So asked for a refund. Perhaps they might have contacted us if they had a problem.

I ordered my coffee yesterday morning and it was delivered this morning and that is delivery free… best delivery experience since moving to a coastal town, pity they have stopped selling organic coffee tho…

We have just received our 3rd Nespresso Vertuo replacement in less than 2 years

We have just received our 3rd Nespresso Vertuo Next Coffee Machine as a (2nd!) replacement for a dud product. We purchased our first machine October 2023 so the average isn't even 1 year of trouble free coffee!
When the machine is operating we believe it makes good coffee - not outrageously good - but good.
We have learned that the warranty on the machine we have received today actually runs out on the anniversary of the date we purchased - that being October 2025. Which means this "brand new" machine effectively has a 3 month warranty. Based on our history to date, I would suggest when this one breaks down (which I have no doubt it will!), it will be the last time we ever have one of these machines. Disappointing overall as we quite like it when it's good... Buyers beware!!

Purchased a breville nespresso…

Purchased a breville nespresso creatista uno. Machine had problems since first use and got worse over time. Troubleshooting with nespresso showed the machine was unable to factory reset and was pouring incorrect amounts of liquids so was referred to breville. Breville has refused to replace the machine without sending it away for potentially weeks for repair first. This machine has had issues from day 1 and I made it very clear it should be replaced as per consumer law and their warranty policy: which also states that breville or nespresso are liable for foreseeable loss due to the machine fault but they refused to do anything about my being without a coffee machine while they “repair” their faulty product. The warranty also clearly states that nespresso “handles product serving on brevilles behalf” yet they refuse to help in any way other than telling me to call breville. Breville told me they’d send me a link to book repairs, never received it. I then called nespresso back and they just told me quite rudely they were following procedures, so their procedures involve palming off their customers to anyone else they can. Absolutely ridiculous. I only got this machine as it’s the only one with a steam wand that I could find and I have very much regretted purchasing this nespresso product as their support was as functional as their product - not at all.

★☆☆☆☆ Nespresso Australia – Incompetent, Dishonest, and a Total Waste of Time



If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered 3 cups from Nespresso Australia on 12 May, paid for express delivery, and received a confirmation email with no order number or tracking info. Red flag number one.

After a few days with no update, I checked my account and saw the order marked as "pending". I contacted Nespresso via live chat on 19 May, and that’s where the nightmare began. I spoke to a rep named Bei, who claimed there was no order on my account and that they never received my payment — despite me sending bank evidence showing Nespresso received and cleared the money on 13 May.

Instead of helping, they told me to contact my bank. When I did, my bank confirmed the money definitely went to Nespresso. I followed up again with Nespresso, only to be told it might now be passed to their finance team — which should’ve happened on the 19th, not after multiple escalations from me.

Worse? There is no complaints department, no email, no proper escalation path. Their live chat is rarely available, and when it is, you get a rotating cast of people who can’t or won’t help. I was told to wait 1–2 business days for a response, with no guarantee of a refund or fulfillment — and if I want a refund, I’ll be waiting up to 15 business days. All while they already have my money and delivered nothing.

This was supposed to be a simple gift for my pregnant wife before she gives birth. Instead, Nespresso made it a stressful, time-wasting ordeal.

Avoid Nespresso at all costs. Their customer service is incompetent, their systems are broken, and they’ve made it clear they don’t care once they have your money. I won’t ever use them again — and I’ll be telling everyone I know to do the same.

Horrible machine.Had a problem since…

Horrible machine.Had a problem since day 1. Machine will sometimes stop in the coffee making process. After waiting for like 25 mins some lady answers the call and did video call trying to fix it through video. Doesn't want to listen to what you have to say.keeps repeating same thing. Rang them twice.Wasted like an hour or so each time just to let me know that their machine doesn't work. Account is in my husband name, and when I rang them before she added my name in the account all wrong. Just assumed that I have got the same surname as my husband. Didn't get the full name right and when I tried to ring her back to provide the tracking number continue on telling me that my name doesn't match in her account. Made a mistake on her end and we have to suffer. What a waste of money and time.

Aus Consumer Law Breach

My less than 8 months old Nespresso Vertuo Coffee Machine stopped working. Called support and after running tests remotely, advised me to pack up the machine, take to Aus Post and once returned they'd deliver a replacement machine. With the balance of the previous machine warranty. When I said that it actually breached Australian Consumer Law, I was dismissed. Live in regional WA, work ft from home and currently don't have a vehicle (in between cars) so getting to Aus Post becomes an issue, we also have no public transport and given I work office hours, am a 20 minute drive from the nearest Aus Post outlet, I asked could Nespresso deliver and pick up.
This was not an option. But I have options and it's called ACCC, and boycotting their products.
Absolutely disgusting behaviour by an Aussie based conglomerate.
To top it off, just before the call ended, I was asked and agreed to provide feedback, just wait after the call ends.
I didn't get a chance because the call disconnected from their side.
Class action time?

Horrible machine

Horrible machine - when it works it makes great coffee, when it works!!
From Day 1 almost never syncs with app, descaling & troubleshooting.
For over a year I've had to manually descale as its not sync'd with app.
Its periodically leaks & yes I've checked the tank.
Today it just stopped making coffee milk perfectly frothed nothing coming from coffee 5 pods later a reset and a descale I call customer care, we do the virtual review he gets me to reset machine he troubleshoots & then wants me to descale again !!
today is a work day I have already wasted 45 minutes on this I decline & say I must get back to work. He refuses to schedule a service. For a $1,000+ machine this is totally unacceptable.

Dont buy any of these machines

Dont buy any of these machines, I dont know why I did they are so shit constantly breaking down I dont know why I even bother, everything in my house is quality except for this. It has broken down and had to be replaced so many times.
