Great customer service and a quick response when there was a defect in my shorts for a replacement. The best running shorts I've experienced.

Customer service is ass. I sent two shorts back for a refund and had to email them to remind them to refund me. After that, they refunded me the amount without including tax. When I emailed to explain that they didn’t refund my taxes, they emailed back saying they did as if I don’t know how to do math. I emailed back requesting a breakdown of the refund and explaining the math on my end. No response. It’s only $34 but it’s the principal. And they suck. Will never purchase from them again or ever recommend them.

My partner bought these shorts and while they felt lovely when first pulling out of the package within two wears (5km runs so nothing crazy) they have pilled in between the thighs in an extreme way. They will be thread bare within about 10 wears I would expect. Absolutely crazy for such an expensive product that claims to be premium. Premium pricing without premium quality clearly.
This tends to happen when using shorter fabric fibres as they are more prone to breakage. Fabrics made with shorter fabric fibres are also much cheaper and not of high quality.
I'd recommend buying any other cotton shorts and some merino underwear instead of these.
My partner has contacted the company trying to rectify this situation and has basically been told "sucks to suck". So bad customer service too with no accountability for a faulty/bad product.

Speaking the truth is the only way forward and the products at Nero are hands down the best quality I've experienced so far. Dont worry about boujee brand names! If you want comfortable, soft ,breathable shorts for Gym, Running or just lounging at home these are the ones. Merino wool hits different let me tell you since owning hybrid mayerial shorts for over 20 years for training etc these shorts are already 5 pairs up in my wardrobe. Worn daily and couldn't be happier. If youre looking for that change guys this where you start.

Bought the shorts for a birthday gift and they absolutely loved it. The quality is outstanding and you can understand the price tag once you touch them. Their customer support is also really on point, Jeremy was amazing.

Deceptive billing for foreign buyers! When products are in the shopping cart, there is literal banner at the top that says “Import Duties and Taxes Included”…Paid with Apple Pay and the total jumped from $227.50 to a whopping $300.67. Why? Taxes and duties. I emailed them to request that refund and included the website screenshot of “Import Duties and Taxes Included.” They tried to blame Apple Pay, “That is the total Apple Pay authorizes and captures.” So I inquired about cancelling the order and re-ordering to pay without Apple Pay. Easy fix, right? Wrong. 26 minutes after they emailed to say they were sending the order, I got a response saying, “No, cancelling and placing the order again would not avoid taxes and duties. If the shipment is going to the same destination, any applicable import VAT, duties, and carrier handling fees can still be charged. So I would not recommend cancelling.”

So they are dishonest about “Import Duties and Taxes Included.” (…Otherwise they are at best disingenuous or sloppy on their website leaving a 30% surprise extra charge). I’d give 1 star, but they were: 1) responsive to emailing, which seems rare these days; and 2) on the assumption these are the greatest $150 CAD exercise shorts known to man (unknown since not received yet), which is more than the cost of my designer jeans. For “genuine” “verification” Order #23348 placed on 17-Feb-2026.

Ordered on line from New Zealand on 6th February arrived early morning on 19th. Tracking worked well. Medium fit was a ‘medium’ and the feel so far is good 😊. For my own preference I would really like a 3” leg to be available as we are outside a lot walking/running and prefer to get sun on more of the leg. Pockets are handy as is the zipped key pocket.

XL was too big and these guess were happy to exchange with pre paid return, made it nice and easy.

I ordered to pairs of 7" merino wool shorts. Unfortunately, the original order was lost and wasn't received on my end. Nero was great sending the replacements with no questions asked. The shorts arrived yesterday. They are very well constructed, stylish and comfortable. I was very pleased with the assistance from Jeremy at Nero. Nero is highly recommended.

The best gym shorts in the world!

Had a minor issue with an order and the customer service team were really quick to fix it for me. I live in these shorts since I first ordered them 4 months ago. I've just placed a second order to buy more so I can have some to lounge around the house in. Buy these shorts, you won't be disappointed! I could not recommend them enough!

We had a bad experience with another brand that marked our order as delivered even though we never received it, and they refused to replace it. This team handled everything seamlessly and made the process incredibly easy. Amazing customer service and support—couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

Great experience. Really well made and comfortable shorts and boxers. Boxers have moved me on from my merino-only underwear rule. Customer service also went above and beyond to help.

Total scam. Spend all their money on advertising on social media but you will never get your order. I am in Chicago and their warehouse is in Indianapolis. Over a week later, I still don't have my very expensive shorts. They cut every corner they can when it comes to shipping and you end up waiting for your gear forever. I would recommend trying any other company.

The team at Nero are amazing! I have to call out Jeremy from support, he's a legend! So fast to respond and sort my sizing return and resend. True test of quality is how you handle things when it doesn't all go to plan. The Nero team met my expectations of actions and exceeded them in response, politeness and willingness to fix things fast from the other side of the world.

I bought two pairs of the lined gym shorts in large, they came all the way from the UK to Australia but they were too big. Not a problem, Nero sent me a return label and swapped them out.

THEY ARE THE BEST THINGS I HAVE EVER WORE TO THE GYM. I saw a review saying these on merino wool and cotton, they’re actually polyester. That is not my experience at all. You have to take a little bit of care while you’re washing them, but honestly, these shorts have made me want to upgrade all of my gym clothes.

I will absolutely be buying more.

The most comfortable gym shorts I have ever worn, wash very well. If you appreciate natural fabrics like merino wool, these are the best.

Nero shorts are very comfortable and their costumer service is top tier ⭐️

The black shorts I bought (their flagship item) are relatively expensive and consist of a merino wool inner and cotton outer layer. Nero promotes these as a premium product, but within three months of light wear the black has faded significantly and even discoloured to reddish-brown patches - something I would usually associate with low quality dyes and/or construction. Very disappointing and frankly feels scammy
