I purchased 300g of Jalapeño peppers

I purchased 300g of Jalapeño peppers , I ordered these so that I could pickle them , can’t say I was that impressed with them, they didn’t seem to be very fresh, they didn’t have much crispness to them, slightly soft, when I cut them there was quite a few of them that had black seeds in them, when I googled this fact it suggested that they had been previously frozen, also when I tasted them, they had absolutely no heat to them whatsoever, might as well have been green peppers, won’t be ordering them again unless they can guarantee freshness

First time buyer.

As a first time buyer of edible flowers for the top of a birthday cake I was not sure how long they would take to arrive or how perishable they were. Unfortunately by the time they went onto the cake they had shrivelled!
Also could not estimate the size of the flowers which turned out to be smaller than I imagined.
