I bought a car that came with national…
I bought a car that came with national warranties three months within 13 days of owning the car. I had problems with it so I took it to the Garage. They done the quotation and I sent it over to national warranties. They were very quick on sending it back saying that they would not pay out for the work to be carried out because it was within 13 days of the warranty starting and in the fine print it says 14 days . When you get a three month warranty with national warranty the first two weeks are not actually covered so it’s not a three month warranty. It’s a 2 1/2 month warranty absolute disgrace of a company.

Your warranty is fully active and valid from day one for the vast majority of covered components. However, there is a specific exclusion regarding turbochargers within the first 14 days or 1,000 miles of the policy. Because a turbocharger is a major, long-wearing component, a failure within the first two weeks strongly indicates that the fault was already developing before the warranty began. Warranties are designed to cover sudden mechanical failures that happen during the policy term, rather than pre-existing conditions that arise soon after purchase. Your policy remains active for the full three months to protect you against sudden failures moving forward. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to make our terms as clear as possible for our customers.

Bought cover and my car would not start…
Bought cover and my car would not start this morning. seems like a small issue with battery however the call handler was smug and would not send anyone out so decided to cancel the policy. Thankfully it was within the period where i can get a full refund. Also the caller stated maybe he left a light on unknowns to himself, a door not clised properly or a unit plugged it. He was trying to troubleshoot in his head as was not able to open the vehicle. Troubleshooting, even hypotethical is natural. My review never stated anyone was rude, but smug. Having been able to access the vehicle there was no light, door or any device plugged in. Thankfully someone had leads and now problem fixed. No thanks to "National Warranties". Also i would appreciate it if you removed from the public domain details of my policy, for example date/time started, time/date of call. Those records should be private since specific purchase time and call time tied to a person constitutes personal data under data protection laws like the UK GDPR, and publishing it lacks a lawful basis and violates transparency and fairness principles. Another reason to cancel. Now see nationalwarranties.co.uk removed my personal data so have had to edit my review. Just gets worse....

We are sorry to hear that you experienced an issue with your vehicle so soon after purchasing your warranty .
We received a call regarding a flat battery the following morning.
We have reviewed the call recording and found that our call handler remained polite and professional throughout the conversation.
The initial confusion arose because the caller provided incorrect address information for the warranty.
Furthermore, during the call, he mentioned that the battery had gone flat because he left a fault code reader connected overnight and possibly leaving the lights on.
Like most providers, our breakdown cover excludes flat batteries caused by human error.
Our team was unable to authorise a call-out based on the following policy terms: "Faults caused by human error - This includes, but is not limited to, flat batteries caused by leaving lights, radios, or other electrical components on."
However, as a gesture of goodwill, we have fully refunded your initial monthly payment and cancelled your warranty.

Not even a 1*. Avoid Avoid Avoid. I am warning all users as someone who knows about this company. Do not use under any circumstances. Check out the resigned director on Companies House & where he was a director before. Absolute scammers. They owe £1000s of pounds to people who are unable to claim it back.
