Being on the interview programme as a scholarship student was so beneficial, and I am very lucky to have gotten an offer from Cambridge! I am infinitely grateful to MyUCAT for all their help and constantly striving to give as many opportunities as possible to students to succeed. MYUCAT has been so helpful in my whole medicine application, they helped me so much in both my UCAT and interview prep, helping me to get 4 interviews at Cambridge, UCL, Birmingham and Manchester and now helped me get my Cambridge offer so far! The interview webinars gave very high quality advice, with topic-specific content. There were also opportunities to practise answering questions on that topic. Overall this helped me feel much more prepared for my interviews and provided me with lots of information to talk about.

I had a mock 1-1 with Reema and she gave me clear and detailed uni specific interview advice which I found very helpful!!

I was part of the Interview Programme this year and it’s been so helpful! Ojas’ big group sessions not only went through all we need to know but also feedback on how to approach and answer questions. The small group sessions with Rohan have been incredibly useful for verbal practise as well as further engaging with the content we learnt with Ojas. Rohan has also been very open with us and allowed us to give insight on how to make the sessions more suited to our needs. He was also incredibly friendly and encouraged us to speak up as well as ask questions which made the sessions that much more helpful. I also had a mock with Sally for ARU and she was really nice and gave really helpful insight on my answers and also answered any additional queries I had on interviews. Her feedback allowed me to improve my answers and reflect on what I could do better, and she was so supportive throughout it all!

I had Tahmid as my interview tutor and he was exceptional ! Our 1 hour sessions always turned into 2 hours from how in depth he would go into his feedback making sure everyone got more than enough support and were able to answer difficult interview questions to a high standard. He went above and beyond and i am so grateful as i now have an offer from my top choice university only a week after sitting my interview !!!! Thank you so so much Tahmid you were an amazing help :)

My 1-2-1 mock mmi with Judy was amazing! She was so nice and extremely professional. I felt like it was practically the real thing and the feedback she gave me was so helpful. She really helped me adjust and refine my answers to make sure I can gain the most marks and really highlighted my strengths and weaknesses so I know what to develop before my actual interview. She was so friendly and supportive, I felt like any questions or worries I had were clearly answered. I would definitely recommend more people to do a mock with her!!

My 1-1s with Raihanul have been so useful. He gave me great advice for my Bristol dental interview and is so encouraging! I feel more confident in how to go about my interview preparation going forward.

I recently did a mock mmi with Reema who was amazing and she spent lots of time going through the stations and what went well and areas to improve. As a result I felt a lot more prepared going in for my Birmingham interview and was in disbelief when I received an offer in my inbox the day after my interview!!

I had a Manchester mock with Zahra and it was amazing! Zahra made sure everything was tailored specifically to Manchester and stimulated MMI conditions. She gave clear written and verbal feedback for each section, helping me to get an idea of my strenghs and weaknesses. Zahra motivated me through her dedication and thrive to suceed. Definitely recommend!

Genuinely could not have got an offer if it wasn’t for this course - it was so helpful explaining all the key topics for interviews and the smaller 1-1 groups went into more depth and I felt that the learning was very much tailored to suit us. The mock MMIs were amazing, really helped me get over my nerves and simulate a real MMI experience

I just did a mock with Zahra and honestly, it was extremely useful. The questions she asked were designed to test my thinking on the spot and communication ability. Her feedback was also extremely in depth and allowed me to grasp what the interviewers are looking for. The experience was 10/10.

Super extensive course with amazing tutors and guidance, helped me through UCAT and interviews. Would recommend to anyone looking to apply for medicine at any university 😊

I attended the Interview Course with Ojas and it has been incredibly useful - it's so detailed and comprehensive! It covers all the content needed for interviews.
On top of this, the small group lessons with Amna have been really great for extra practice and helped to refine my answers. Amna was so thorough in her feedback.
The 2 uni-specific mock interviews were so helpful too.
I felt confident going to interviews as the course developed my wider knowledge a lot. I would highly recommend the Interview course, it's been a really great experience!

MyUcat has undoubtedly been the most useful resource in my preparation for medicine interviews this application cycle.

The work that has been put into devising such a detailed, all-encompassing programme to help prospective medicine students prepare for interviews by Ojas and the rest of the MyUcat team must have been immense.

The interview sessions tackle every and any topic that could come up in both MMI and Panel format interviews. Smaller group sessions help target preparation to the needs of individuals, ensuring that advice is tailored to the needs of the applicant throughout the application process - in stark contrast to the generic and one-size-fits-all advice that I've seen elsewhere during this Interview season. Truly, no other business holds a candle to MyUcat when it comes to quality of teaching.

A special thank you to Grace, the former Oxford Medic who ran small group sessions with a particular focus on Oxbridge applications. The group sessions with her, along with two mock Oxford interviews with Grace were particularly illuminating about what Oxford interviews actually involve and really put me at ease before my interview. I can confidently say that her guidance played a massive role in ensuring my application was successful!

I have no doubt that MyUcat's attentive and comprehensive Interview Preparation Programme is the primary reason for the Oxford offer I received this year.

I had a Manchester specific mock MMI with Zahra and it was very helpful. She created a realistic MMI environment and tailored the stations well to what Manchester looks for.
I was given clear, structured feedback for each station, highlighting both my strengths and specific areas to improve. I really appreciated the constructive feedback and how encouraging Zahra was, she really helped me understand where I'm at with my interview prep and how to make the most of my answers.

Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the cost. The support offered felt surface level and lacked any real personal guidance. Interactions within the group chats were disappointing, with frequent self promotion and unprofessional remarks about other organisations, which created an unpleasant atmosphere. One example that stands out is when the administrator screenshotted a TikTok video from dradmissions, claiming they were teaching incorrect content and should be avoided, simply because they misspelled a name. In addition, many of the administrator’s comments came across as guilt-tripping. Also, the administrator guilt tripped us a lot. For example, he shut down breakout rooms due to a perceived lack of participation, and only reopened them after people began to 'beg' him (very childish). Overall, I would not recommend this programme and would encourage students to seek advice from current university students who are more likely to provide genuine and helpful support.
