Absolutely disgraceful business model.

Appeal dismissed by standard letter, without a satisfactory response to the points I made.

Insecure payments website.

Paymentsline (phone payments) does not work.

East Midlands Airport should not be supporting such unfair business proactices. Location is EMA's tenant: The Fuel Station, EMA, Castle Donnington DE74 2SA who use Vehicle Control Services Limited which uses myparkingcharge.

Disgusting company.

The fact that there are actual criminals out there getting away with god knows what and they pester our arses for silly parking charges. Prioritise much????? Even when trying to pay it wouldn't accept my payments, kept declining, with multiple cards attempted. And there 24 hr helpline was closed, funny that. Absolutely useless company. Bear in mind, the charge is from a FREE car park, and apparently have changed their regulations to no airport drop off / pick ups which no one was notified of. Found out through this bloody charge. Absolutely fuming. Been doing airport runs there for years and nothing. Put me off going to the shops in that area, they're gonna charge you for god knows what.

I am a disabled driver.
I drove THROUGH the car park and exited almost immediately.
I got a penalty notice!!!!! It cost me £60, despite my perfectly adequate explanation of NOT PARKING
They also CHARGE for blue badge drivers.

The ticket was correct so I went to pay. It declined my payment so I tried twice. My bank account shows they took the payment both times. You can't get through to anyone to get the money back. Totally dishonest.

This company is a genuine scam company. It’s not because of the actual parking charges — but because of the way that they handle charges.
I parked a car paid £6 ( 3*2=6) they still charge me for between ticket one and ticket two-4 minutes in betweeen

End up paying £60 for a small over stay, they are from the group of greedy scammers writing all the nonsense as the explanation of their greed, unfortunately this all is happening with the permission of the government, dont work hard just make a parking lot to cheat the innocent car owners by charging disproportionate amount, thats why the country has gown down to drain no one wants to work hard just want to cheat others for quick money, should be shameful of their morals. Thugs

The parking ticket was issued by a resident of the area of where we parked. An official representative of the company, I guess, that ignored the rest of the cars parked. Guessing friends and family.

Anyway. My issue is with the on-line payment process.

Multiple cards either timed out, rejected or declined.

When payment did go through we noticed that the websites we bounced through were not secure. If any money goes from any of my accounts I will know exactly who to blame.

absolute rip off , didnt get the first pcn then demanded 100 pound or else , phone line is premium, no way to actually speak to anyone , website doesnt give option to appeal , good job they havnt got an address as i would imagine people would be queueing up give some payback

Absolute rubbish service. This is a complete scam and a money making scheme scamming innocent users of their money. Went for a day out with daughter and parked at the pennine retail carpark. Used the ticket machine which was very confusing to use. Made the payment of £3.50 via Apple Pay and left ticket in the car on dashboard. They sent a letter to me today 2nd August 2026, but their date of issue letter was 20th July 2026 saying I have been fined of £100 and if done within 14 days (paid by 3rd August 2026) of the letter date can be reduced to £60. Firstly I only received this letter 2nd August 26, now if I was to have received this letter on the 3rd I would have missed the deadline date and an appeal would have been of no use because I have read reviews in where peoples appeals have been rejected and have still had to pay the full price. I feel the letter was sent late on purpose so they can get paid the full amount. Absolute fraud and scammers.

They only ever send one letter out, and that letter is the “late” letter saying that you’ve ignored their first notice. They even give a date when they’ve sent the first letter.

However, for someone that’s been waiting for that “first letter”, I can confirm without doubt that they never send that first letter. Only the second late letter so that you can’t appeal.

It is also impossible to appeal. IPC should crack down on these scammers.

Disgusting business model. Anyone else would be publicly humiliated for charging £60 for 8 minutes, but apparently this is acceptable for inadvertent parking in a badly signed dump of a badly designed concrete slab. Iceland should be ashamed of themselves for associating with these gutter rats

What a rip off. A licence to print money. Nobody even had the decency to put their name to the letter. I also blame the airport for deciding that they could trouser the cash for a drop off and outsource the fines to another company so they can cream off a slice of the pie. Trebles all round for providing absolutely nothing. I would give them zero stars or even negative stars but that isn't an option.

Scammers the government needs to look into the unethical practices of this company.

Went and paid my £60 fine the day it arrived. Entered my details of my Visa card which came back declined so please try another card. Checked my on-line account to see that it not only had it gone through but they had taken the payment twice. As it was the weekend I checked my account again on Monday and now only one payment was showing so I forgot it. Now 4 weeks later a new notice came through saying that as I had not paid the fine it was now £100. Phoned Barclays who could not help as they say that it was pending and must have been withdrawn by them. What a scam as I now have no option now but to pay the £100.

I got a ticket of £100 and the automated phone line doesn't work and website won't take payments and now I got a 2nd invoice bill in post saying I owe £170 when the website and phone are not working and there's no customer service number. This company needs reporting to police and fraud department in police. Every one report this company to police its a fraud and a scam

I see a lot of horrible reviews for this lot, but for fairness and balance : I got a fine in the post for a session I thought I had paid for properly online, and so filed an appeal through the website. On closer examination of my receipt it turned out I had made a typo entering my registration number. Completely my fault, but they accepted the appeal and waived the fine. Can't complain about that!

I am 80years of age and listening to the questions to pay fine were too fast.
Did manage in the end.
The parking system at Southend airport at nearly midnight was confusing.
payed fine of £60 for 2 minutes.
I am disabled but did not have my blue badge.

I thought you were allowed to park by the road provided it does not have any restrictions on lineage or on the road which it did not
The website is hopeless
It keeps declining the transaction saying wrong details or use another card when correct
What time wasters and SO unfair It should not be allowed

Got fined £100
When I tried to pay it it said my card declined and to try again. When I tried again it once again said it had declined but upon checking my account I noticed that £200 had been removed from my account, yet it still says the fine hasn’t been paid. I have tried to get in some contact with them but all numbers have no one answering and there are no help areas on their website. Absolutely poor and definitely a scam

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company is an extortion racket. The fact that a company can operate in this way sickens me. They illegally issue tickets and force people into a corner to pay no matter what, but then make it so difficult to actually make a payment that the fine increases until they can force a court order on you. They need investigating. Complete crooks.
