I used MyLayby for a PS5 Console disk…

I used MyLayby for a PS5 Console disk edition and took the 6 month time frame they asked for. I ended up paying it off about 1-1/2 months early after asking them if that was okay as I do understand they still can be tricky to find sometimes.. Once my item had been paid for in full I got a invoice and track and trace via nz post around 1-1/2 weeks and then 2 days later it arrived . No problems for myself and family so decided to get another small one going . Thanks MyLayby Team =) Great Job =)

Terrible recent experience

I’ve been very familiar with Mylayby in australia and when I moved back to NZ I used their NZ store.
I’ve cancelled orders and never had an issue getting a refund. Recently, I’ve had two lay-bys complete, one was three weeks ago and I still haven’t been sent a tracking number. I’ve made a complaint, no response. I’ve now had to seek assistance from my bank and PayPal for this order as it doesn’t sound like I’ll get the item and I’m no longer confident I’ll receive the items from the second order (almost a week and again, no tracking number).
Not sure what’s changed in the last 6-9 months but the company no longer feels legitimate. The fact that they have stopped engaging also suggests a problem. Such a shame.

I have paid money towards goods that…

I have paid money towards goods that they could not deliver and have still not received my money back an it feels impossible to get in contact with anyone. I use to recommed this site but am very disappointed with the amount of time my recent orders have taken to be delivered an not receiving my money bk. Who else can I contact to get my money.

What a joke of a company

So after waiting 6 weeks for item to even be shipped after payment requested refund as they still couldn't give an answer to when iit would be sent 3.5 weeks now waiting for refund and nothing and they don't even reply to any form of communication avoid them at all costs

Terrible have been trying to get hold of Customers service for days to stop my payments after an order was canceled due to no stock, they do not reply to you so payments are going out and have nothing for payments

Well where do I begin I have asked for a refund and was told 7 to 10 working days what astounds me is that they cam take the your money from your account and then make you wait that long when you have asked for it back then have the cheek to say I have to wait for 10 days this is theft they have taken my money and not going to give it back. While it sits in there account earning interest what a bloody cheek also very DODGY they can't answer their phones due to illness this is not there customers problem it is there's give people their money back alot of bad reviews on here

Hi Leesa, on the date of this review and our reply it is business day 6 from when you cancelled your order with us and requested a refund. As you have mentioned above and as is listed in our Terms and Conditions, refunds can take between 7-10 business days to be returned to the debited account. This was also confirmed with you at the time of you cancelling and has subsequently been communicated with you on a further 3 occasions. We are always very clear in this regard so as to set realistic expectations with our customers. We have had to stop replying to your emails as the information communicated to you is correct and not going to change and you have become threatening and aggressive. In the very unlikely event that your refund is not with you by the end of business day 10 we will be happy to assist you further, but until this time we can offer no more help regarding this matter. Your patience is appreciated.

Warning stay clear of these people they…

Warning stay clear of these people they known have issues and not willing to fix them. They lied big time. After I said I take them to court if they didn't fix the problem now they block me 5 months later .. you guys are the risk of stealing people's money come on tell the truth

Second chance fail

Nothing I've ever ordered from here has ever turned up on time. They sell things they can't guarantee they will be able to source once paid off, use covid as an excuse for slow shipping even though it hasn't left anywhere yet.

My son brought 3 PS5 at a cost 2700 promised it would be delivered Xmas still waiting we now in April n they keep saying Sony is slow on delivery, they offered via email a 200 voucher , going to take this further as that's theft, No Product , no response from them

Poor service, slow shipping, condescending correspondence.

I bought a product through this service, but read their Ts & Cs twice before doing so. I could have purchased the product through another source and now wish I had. I paid my account off with my CC through PayPal in case something went wrong I could get my money back.

Nobody answers their phone, so you'll need to email them and wait. They will eventually get back to you, however they won't directly answer your questions. They will instead quote their Ts & Cs to you. They love their Ts & Cs, and like to quote them to you in every correspondence.

Their shipping times are a joke and my experience is that I received the goods a month after paying off my account.

Lots of excuses, no solid answers, bad customer service means I won't use this service again.

Hi Tevita, I can see that the order you are referring to was sadly unable to be supplied. This stock issue was communicated with you on 20th Oct and you replied asking for a refund on that same date which was promptly actioned and returned to your account a few days later. While I can certainly understand your frustration at the item being unavailable, your conclusion that we are somehow a scam is unfounded. I am sorry you feel so let down by our service. Every effort is always made to ensure orders are delivered in a timely manner but where there are issues we always aim to communicate this openly and with options so the customer can decide what is best for them.

Making Christmas a flop

Terrible ordered items for Xmas paid them off only to find they couldn’t be sourced , then a month later still waiting on a refund of the money . Have had to chase up every day , items I ordered for Xmas that have been in stock and sent haven’t emarrived you 2 weeks late will be lucky if they arrive for Xmas not impressed at all haha then they say the order had been delivered ?? WhAt order I cancelled them all
After this experience so there was nothing to be delivered , shows how well they know what’s going on 🤣 absolutely terrible service yes the massage guy was supplied but all the lego I paid for 2 months ago that was not in stock you have not given me the refund and had been 2 months of emails back and forth and still not money less then a week till Xmas . And got sent a LEGO to the totally wrong address that want supposed to be sent . Funny how you reply on here so fast but take ages through email .

Can you please email our Customer Service team (customerservice@mylayby.com) with the order details for the refund you believe should have been processed so we can investigate for you. Order 309837 for a Massage Gun has been supplied in full and shows as delivered so there is no refund required.

Customer Service appalling

Customer Service appalling - unable to supply product and no contact made until I questioned dispatch date and was advised an email had been sent out (but not received) and ‘to keep in mind’ that they only work Monday - Friday - when layby was made product (PS5) was available on website when it clearly wasn’t. Refund offered.

Hi Catherine, thank you for your review. The order details associate with your review is for a lovely bracelet that was paid off late November and I can see was delivered successfully to you today, in time for Christmas Day as expected.
Regarding orders for the PS5, these are pre orders and so as yet do not have a specific arrival date to us and therefore dispatch date to customers. Unfortunately there have been many unexpected manufacturing delays with Sony and they are very short stocked which has been frustrating for us and of course our customers. I'm glad to see from your review that a review was offered.

I choose my parcel delivery date to be 27th November. It's now 16th December and my parcel hasn't even been sent! They keep saying it's due to covid and postage issues but it hasn't been sent so the parcel is not delayed at all its just sitting in a warehouse unsent. This was for Christmas, which is next week and the chance of getting it on time is unlikely! Very disappointed!!!!!
