Purina have recently change their 100g sachets of, 'Felix As Good As It Looks' down to 85g. Since feeding my cat the downsized sachets, he has vomited every day. He is lethargic had bouts of diarrhoea. Has anyone else had these issues?

I've been buying felix for 28 years and my cat now has been eating felix for 13 years and now when i feed her the meat as good as it looks she just looks at it then stares at me as she doesn't like it anymore.

Ive used felix cat food for years and now noticed the amount is 15 %less with hardly any meat in more jelly than anything, how i noticed was my cats asking for more food!!! Absolutely disgusted! Think ill now change to whiskas

So not only has the amount of actual meat in the pouches been reduced over 15%, Today I’ve had my 3 year old cat at the vet’s for constant vomiting and lethargy… since trying Felix cat food… funnily enough the vet informed me they have had numerous cats reacting to the new recipe (you know, the recipe that has changed and they told no one about) so now I’m on my way home to throw away over 40 pouches of cat food!! THROW IT AWAY DO NOT RISK YOUR CATS HEALTH OVER THIS CHEAP SH*T FOOD!!!

My cats won’t eat and the food looks different. It is cubes like the regular one! Money back !

As if it wasn't expensive already they have just reduced the packet size by 15% of course without reducing the price.
Time to switch brand.

This is a review of Purena Felix cat food. Why trust pilot put it here, I don't know. I was reading the cat food reviews when I posted this on the same site. My apologies to the financial firm called Felix!

I would normally feed my cats three times a day with 30g Felix plus 5g+ of 'dental' biscuits ( and they are both overweight). My disgust with Felix is not just the reduction to 85g but more for the fact that from one pouch recent I had to discard 25g of rubbish jelly/slime. This was extreme but not unusual, normally I have to throw away ~15g or say 15%. Effectively making a £25 box cost nearly £30. Quite an incentive to buy better quality alternatives.

Been using felix for over 20 years and now getting woke up at 5:00am for feeding . This is scandalous and now will be finding another brand for 100g pouches.

My cats aren’t eating it anymore gonna have to find a different cat food now

Absolutely horrified to realise that Felix have not only reduced the size of As Good as It Looks pouches but has kept the price the same! They are taking the public for fools but we are not stupid and we notice!! Times are hard enough for most of us as it is right now and then they go and do this!!! My cat will NEVER go without but I will because he's all I have.

It’s not just 15% shrinkflation (sneakily sneaked in when nobody was looking). Poor little starving cats.
It is much worse - it’s also a 15% increase in the amount of packaging used. So many companies are doing this - absolutely no consideration for the environment. Do the idiots think we won’t notice that we’re using - and paying for - more wrappings for less product.

Hey Felix. Yeah, we're done. Reduction in volume for the same price equating to a 20% increase in cost. My cats hate it now too. More corporate greed. Enjoy it shareholders. Won't buy your sh*t again

Felix reduced the cat food pouch by 15% and kept the same price. No notification (only hint is that the box feels smaller - cheats.)
What a scam! I cannot respect a company that behaves this way to its customers.

I'm having to give my cat 2 pouches per meal now! It was always one and a half before. Take take take is obviously the motivation at purina. Joining the fake escalated costs bandwagon. They think we can't live without their products but I certainly will by moving to another manufacturer that's not profiteering during a cost of living crisis! These people have joined the cost of living crisis creators in what they are doing. Reduce the product amount and increase the price at massive out of inflation rates. Open your eyes people by boycotting these charlatans!

Well, after 11 years as a loyal customer, you’ve finally done it, Felix…
DO NOT think for one second that customers believe all that rubbish about cats don’t eat 100g in one sitting & trying to be environmentally friendly with less packaging. All you care about is making more money! My cat is now hungry more often and instead of feeding her twice a day, I now have to feed her 3 meals, which isn’t possible with working a full time job. I can’t leave half a pack open because it starts to go stale by the second meal and she will not eat it. I am now being woken in the middle of the night by a hungry cat! Time to go to another brand. I honestly hope you have no customers left within the next few months. You’re disgusting!! I cannot even put into words how angry I am at this tactic. Whoever came up with this ‘money saving idea’ should be sacked. It seems so many others feel the same. I suggest you get that weight back up to 100g or you risk losing many more customers.

Maar hoe kan het dat in een doos die waarschijnlijk automatisch gevuld wordt er eentje kan ontbreken.
Is er geen gewichtscontrole?
Wat me trouwens wel opvalt is dat op positieve reviews wel wordt gereageerd maar op de negatieve niet!

Been buying Felix 100g for my cats for years. Soo disappointed in Purina producing boxes of Felix with 12 pouches containing 85g now AND all advertising in shops making out the price is reduced from £5 to £4. The price has NOT REDUCED - the product has reduced and they are conning the public into believing this is a bargain!!
Purina wrote to say it is the supermarkets that decide pricing and said customers think 100g is too much for cats... rubbish, it's their own way of cutting costs. My cat now needs More pouches and costs me a lot more. If customers don't want 100g pouches then Felix/ purina should include 15 pouches per box to make up the difference.

Disgusted by reduced pouch sizes from 100g down to 85g and charging the same price, well done you obvious money grabbing profiteering purina.

I’m disgusted by the outrageous profiteering by Purina. Reducing the sachet size from 100g to 85g but keeping the price the same is just greed from an already wealthy company. They pretend to care about cats and their owners but clearly all they care about is a huge unjustifiable profit. They can’t even claim that ingredients have increased in price because we know that the quality of cat food is always fairly low. Did they think we wouldn’t notice? This is a brazen money grab from loyal customers and it’s disgraceful. I have 3 rescue cats and this price hike for less product is becoming very noticeable. Time to leave Purina and find a different source of feeding my big appetite cats.

12 pack now with 180g less of food. Notice the size of box was smaller, cat has less energy. No warning on the box.
