Payment via apple pay didn’t accept amex but when you put card details in - it will take amex. So frustrating

I had a very good experience. I wanted to have a session before my grading and I found a very experienced teacher, Joel was very professional and quick to tell me what I need to be prepared.

Rachel is absolutely lovely, clearly knows her piano. I’m currently having piano lessons with her and really enjoying the experience. Superstar teacher

My experience has been great so far.

Before anything else, the majority of the time I've been very satisfied as a tutor with how MusicTeachers is run, and the good points far outweigh the bad.

However, I'm disappointed that I rarely receive texts from the company when a new prospective client messages. We're promised this notification every time a new pupil messages, and if I don't get the notification, I'm unable to respond to messages as quickly as I'd like. Only about 1 time out of 5 do I get a text alert when I receive a message from a new pupil.

Also, I noticed that there was no pay increase when I moved to 'Gold' level. I saw in the explanation notes that instead the pupil fee decreases. This seems unfair to me, and MusicTeachers suggest I instead put my prices up. I increased my prices unilaterally a few months earlier, and I can't do it again. As far as I can see, there's no reward at all for the tutor when they move up a level, and unless I've got something wrong, this takes away any incentive for moving to the new level.

Marianne is very patient and makes the lesson fun. She is able to encourage my granddaughter to concentrate and engage with the lessons. Give this lady a medal.
