We’ve been extremely fortunate to have found Rajini. Her knowledge and connections of the entrance exam process are matched only by her kindness and patience. She brings reassurance to the stresses that parents (and their children) go through and, without being pushy, helps unlock the doors on what can realistically be achieved for your child.

Before we met Rajini, the schooling system was largely unknown to us and we seemed to be constantly finding out after the event the things we’d like to have known much earlier. With Rajini, suddenly the various options on the route forward became much clearer. She’s immensely practical and supportive, and gives you not just a framework to understand what’s out there but real “knowhow” - practical steps tailored to your situation that really do make a difference.

It was far from easy, but our son ended up in his (and our) first choice school in his 11+ exams. Rajini was with us every step of the way.

We recently used Rajni after our 4 year old daughter was turned down by the first school that assessed her for 4+. Rajni was exactly the person that we needed! She did an individual mock assessment with our daughter, which our daughter really enjoyed. Rajni then gave us some really helpful and detailed feedback on what to work on with her. We had our first consultation with Rajni when my daughter was 10 months old and we were deciding on nurseries. With so many options, it was overwhelming and we did not know where to start and which would be best for our daughter. She guided us through all the options and eventually we chose a fantastic pre-prep that we have been very happy with.
We recently did the 4+ and Rajni was again super helpful with narrowing down our choices and selecting the right schools. She is so knowledgeable and gave us the pros and cons of our choices. We also booked the 4+ mock assessment with her which was extremely useful. She gave us a thorough report on what we needed to work on with our daughter and gave us materials and great advice on how to best prepare her.  My daughter also really enjoyed meeting her and she made her feel so comfortable. It has been so reassuring to have Rajni guide us through this whole process and we are so thankful for all the invaluable advice making this experience much less stressful. No doubt I will be turning to her again in the years to come!

We did a 4+ mock assessment for our daughter, and it turned out to be an excellent way for our daughter to have a practice before the actual assessments. I would strongly recommend to anyone going through the admission process. Our daughter felt comfortable during the entire session and the feedback was thorough and very relevant. Rajni took the time to suggest a lot of other resources that we could use to work on the areas of development for our daughter. Rajni is super knowledgeable and has always been approachable and available to answer any questions.

In effect, it is a great way to know where your child stands, and which areas could be improved further.

I am so thankful to have finally found Rajni and only wished we found her sooner. Navigating the pre-prep and schooling system is very challenging and confusing. I didn’t know where to start with two young boys. We finally found Rajni who went through the pros and cons of private vs state, listened to our concerns and advised us what to do. Rajni is accommodating, patience and not money oriented (unlike another educational consultant we used). We only wished we found you sooner. I have a feeling we will be using you a lot more throughout the boys education. Thank you Rajni.

We enlisted Rajni's help with the 4+ mock assessment. She was brilliant. Our daughter was hesitant to participate in the assessment at first but Rajni was wonderfully comforting, convincing our daughter very quickly to take part. The post-assessment report is in-depth and very helpful. You'd think she's known your child for years with the accuracy of her character assessment. In her assessment report she includes very helpful tips and links to toys/games that can further help your child develop their skills at home. We feel much more at ease going into the 4+ assessments. We'll be sure to report back to Rajni as to how it goes.

We did the INCAS assessment and received a personalised report on the outcome and next steps which she created based on the report and her observations on my child.  The report was very thorough, comprehensive and provided us with clear outlines of what we should do next.  

Rajni herself is very sincere and caring.  You can clearly see she wants the best for your child and the advice she provides is very personalised to your child's needs.

My 2 daughters under went educational assessments conducted by Mums in the Wood, and the reports i received were incredibly astute, thorough and in depth. I was so glad we came across Mums in the Wood and met Rajni as it was very difficult to find anyone in London who’s heard of the InCAS test! Rajni, an accredited assessor, is an official provider of the InCAS test (an online based assessment required by some schools internationally) and one of the handful of providers in London! She’s organised a mock test for us so that my daughter can get familiar with the test format. Following the test, she produced a written document with thorough feedback, highlighted areas my daughter needs support with and gave further recommendations on how to support her.

I went for a 4+ mock assessment with Mums in the wood and was very impressed with the way Rajni and Jemma handled my child. My daughter wasn't ready to leave at the end, as she liked the new toys and playroom so much! They were gentle in their approach which was very important for us as parents.

The feedback post assessment was relevant and helped us with focusing our preparation over the last few months. My daughter doesn't go to a preparatory nursery, so we were clueless on what to expect, this mock test was able to guide us well. Also, we got feedback from some schools about our daughter post assessment and it was pretty much in-line with what was observed by Rajni and Jemma.

A very special thanks to Rajni as she continued to remain available with my last minute questions on days before assessment and her calm approach helped control my nerves.

Both my girls went to the 4+mock assessment with Rajni and her team. I wanted to assess how prepared they were for the assessment process and identify where the gaps may be. I also wanted them to benefit from the experience of separating from us and an assessment type situation.
The report we received was thorough and gave useful tips to develop in the areas of weakness that we could support at home- games/ drawing/ creativity. We didn’t do any formal prep- the report was enough support to enable us to direct our play to encourage learning.
