STAY CLEAR

Where do I start I normally read the reviews even the bad ones but I still like to give them ago. God I wished I didn't. I placed my order 2nd September payment went through, stated bulb would be delivered by 12th September even though their website states it will be shipped in 3 days. Didn't hear anything messaged twice no reply then 11th Sept, I get a message saying bulb is out of stock. What were they doing for 2 weeks. Told that I would have to wait upto 2 more weeks for delivery. I then emailed asking for a refund where they immediately replied and said that's fine 3 to 5 days for a refund. I've learnt to take on board negative reviews they are there for a reason. Awful service and communication. Stay Clear.!

Thank you for your feedback. We show that the lamp was not in stock when you ordered it. Our website clearly states in bold green text an "expected delivery date" below our add to cart button for every product we sell. We are very clear in our communication BEFORE any purchase that it will be 10 days to deliver projector lamps that are NOT in stock.

Projector lamps that are in stock ship same day and arrive to the UK in 2-3 business days. Again, this information is labeled clearly in green on the website BEFORE the purchase.

We also show in our notes that you stated you did not want the lamp because it was not coming from BenQ, however, above you state it's because of slow delivery time.

We refunded you immediately upon request on September 11th.

We are sorry you did not have a good experience, but its also important to keep the facts of your order congruent to what actually happened.

We are happy to offer you store credit of 10 GBP for any future order. Simply show our team the reply to this review. We do have this projector lamp in stock right now.

Great price

Great price. I have used this company a few times and although it is based in Holland, i still get my products quickly.

Fantastic Customer Service

We received a faulty batch of projector lamps. Customer Service could not have been more helpful in arranging collection of the lamps that were faulty and providing a replacement batch. Their service was swift, courteous, helpful and friendly. Thank you.

Best company to deal with. I made a mistake in ordering and they handled it perfectly and arranged for correct lamp and credit for the wrong one. Wouldn’t go past them. BK

Chinese version of Epson ELPLP85 bulb is too big

I ordered a bulb for my Epson EH-TW6700W projector, type ELPLP85, and received a China-made equivalent. I was unable to fit the new bulb in my projector, despite having done this change-over 8 times in my previous 4 Epson projectors. I took the projector and new bulb to my local home cinema shop and they confirmed the Chinese bulb body had some very small, but very significant, differences to the genuine Epson bulb body. The two small pegs below the bulb's front are larger on the copy than on the Epson original, so this explains why it didn't fit. The shop assistant widened the peg holes in the bulb fitting bay to let the bigger pegs fit home and allow the projector to work. You should notify the Chinese manufacturer of this fault. The bulb has worked since the slight alteration was made, about 10 days ago.

When my old lamp started to flicker…

When my old lamp started to flicker slightly I knew I needed a new lamp quickly as I had a presentation the following week. I looked at several sites and chose MPL for reviews and price. The lamp unit arrived the day before the presentation and fitted with no problems. Would certainly use them again.

I finally received the product I ordered…

I didn't receive the bulb I ordered in time for a wedding in Scotland. It wasn’t delivered to the venue until after the event and by then I had returned to London. I was not informed of the late delivery date until after it was dispatched. When I tried to cancel or have it redirected I believe I was threatened with a £100 fine (though MPL later said this was a misunderstanding). To be fair, as soon as they saw this review, MPL picked up the lamp from Scotland and delivered it to London. So that was a good result.
Lessons to be learned by MPL and customers: 1) MPL should make clear the delivery time BEFORE PURCHASE is completed, not after it is dispatched; 2) customers should double check or phone if it is unclear when the item will arrive (they state immediate delivery and have a UK address but ship from the Netherlands) Fortunately, the bulb was only needed for backup and the existing one didn't fail and the company responded quickly to my review (my advice - always complain if service isn't good enough it's good for the company and improves service.

I have looked into your order and you purchased a projector lamp with UPS FREE GROUND DELIVERY on May 31st.

We shipped the lamp on June 1st (Thursday) and it delivered exactly 2 business days later on June 5th (Monday) which is very fast for our FREE Ground delivery service. We also sent an email with the UPS tracking number so that you could see the delivery schedule. It appears to have been delivered relatively quick and definitely not late in any way for the shipping type selected.

We always recommend any customers who require Urgent Delivery to purchase our Express Delivery option since it is guaranteed to arrive during a certain time period versus the FREE Ground delivery. We also recommend customers who need delivery for a specific day or time to also call us and we can let you know if it’s possible depending on where you are located.

Regarding your comment about the £100 fine. That doesn’t sound like something we would have done. Was this UPS that told you this? We don’t make threats in any situation. Sometimes there might be additional shipping fees if it is not our fault, but £100 sounds incorrect and does not sound like our policy.

Our team will contact you by phone/email this week to get a better understanding from you of what exactly happened and see if we can help resolve the situation if it hasn’t already been handled.

Disappointing delivery experience

My order was shipped by UPS 1400km in the wrong direction and therefore was delayed by 3 days and did not arrive within the 4-5 business day estimate. I received regular updates from UPS including one confirming that my order had been shipped to Sweden, so it's amazing that MPL aren't able to see this. I'm happy to share that detail but rather than engage with me, they would rather remove this review.

The website MPL customer service both confirmed a 4-5 day delivery and despite the response below, this was missed (it arrived 6 days from order). (does not state from pick up). In addition, I needed to twice become available for delivery due to the rescheduled date (2nd date was 3 days later after UPS confirmed that it had been sent to Sweden).

Clearly this is UPS' issue but MPL have not acted well since, with no apology, no support in engaging UPS and now no recognition that it even happened (see below). Since then, MPL have continued to solicit for 5* trustpilot reviews for cash off future purchases and have tried to remove this review on the basis of verification despite being able to respond to the detailed timeline. Clearly they will do anything to try and remove genuine poor experience rather than do anything about it.

I won't use this website again.

We are generally very good at replying to voicemails and email messages within 1 business day but there is always a possibility we missed your correspondence and we are sorry if this was the case. We will have a team member follow up with you today.

We have looked into your order and it was made on May 18th. Our team shipped your lamp on Friday May 19th with UPS and it was delivered on Friday May 26th by 11:12 AM. Exactly 5 business days later after the UPS pick up.

We have logged into our UPS interface and while it shows that this lamp was delivered 5 business days after being picked up, it does not show any scans in between Amsterdam and Cardiff. So we cannot see anything odd with how this package was shipped (it does not appear to have been shipped in the wrong direction). Perhaps you can share where you found this info? At this point, it is hard to say that anything really went wrong in the shipping process, but we can take time to investigate and follow up with you.

We realize that our website said that it is “estimated 4 – 5 business days” with UPS Ground, and while we try our best to get the lamp to you as quickly as possible, this is still just an estimate. UPS Ground never provides exact delivery dates since it is the most basic UPS delivery service (it is our FREE service on our website). *UPS express deliveries can be purchased at a premium but they have guaranteed delivery times due to the nature of the service and price.

Promptly shipped my lamp

Having only ordered lamps twice from this company I can say they ship products tracked very quickly, and you know when it's arrives on your shore and then to your door. I have no hesitation in recommending this company. Sure you can buy the same product cheaper elsewhere but how many weeks would you have to wait ? I lamp has given my JVC projector a new lease of life with its brighter image quality!
