Very rude staff. The way they ask for information and the pressure! They can't even address emails correctly. What happened to "Hi ****" or "thank you and kind regards". Very very rude. They send landlords this Goodlord referencing platform and it's not even user friendly, even they don't know how to use it!!! Frustrating to say the least.

Efficient, professional and helpful. Anita at the Paignton office was so helpful. She was an absolute star and the person who made the move happen. She coordinated the involved professionals and kept in touch with us throughout the process, often letting us know what was happening before our solicitor did. Thanks Anita x

Hannah came to the house for a valuation, she was friendly, bubbly and extremely professional. Once the property was sold Dawn ensured the sale was completed in a timely manner, even chasing things in her day off. Would definitely use them again

Our sales agent Hannah Stevens was excellent, not only did she keep us fully informed every step of the way and once an offer was received ensured any questions and issues were swiftly acted on and resolved. Absolute Sales stayed involved once an offer was excepted ensuring the lawyers (recommended by them) had all the information they required for any queries raised by the buyer's. I have recently rented a property through Absolute in Paignton. I had an agent called Kate, who was really good. She helped with every single question and query I had, without hesitation. Nothing was too much trouble, and made the experience alot less stressful than house moves could potentially be.

Liv was absolutely fantastic throughout our move. She was warm, supportive, and really took the time to understand what we needed as a family. Her communication was great, and she made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. I’m so grateful for her help in securing our home. I couldn’t recommend her more highly!

Rented a flat using absolute as the main form of contact, they let me move into a dirty flat that had mould and wasn’t in the best of conditions with my baby, however for the price I went on for my 1year tenancy agreement then moved out. The deposit request proved even harder not only did the wait until the last week they want over 500 pound for cleaning and lights when it was probably cleaner then the condition I moved into, ridiculous, learnt to be more observant on show around.

Excellent service from Charlie. She was responsive, and genuinely helpful , which made the whole process stress-free. Would highly recommend Absolute!

Absolute was excellent throughout the process. They presented the property very professionally with super photography and write up. They were tenacious in getting qualified buyers through the door and were always on top of things, keeping us informed every step of the way.

Whilst, I've had a smooth transaction with the Torquay team, in particular Frank & Lisa.

not so great with the lettings side in Paignton. Viewed a flat with Trish, & the landlady. Fervently told the tenancy came with new carpets, Signed the agreement. later, informed existing shabby carpets still in place, dealing with a differcult landlord was not on my agenda.

The property redress scheme is available should you have a similar experience with Absolute sales & lettings.

The Renters' Right 2026 Is imminent, it aims to protect a tenant. 🙏

3rd May update:
Lisa has worked in the Torquay branch for years. As for the recent property, I was particularly interested as the landlady (Judy) was amazing, her property was immaculate, I had a lot of respect for her. I was trying to offer you the opportunity to put a previously unfair situation right, yet you declined.

I am not the only one to mention issues with absolute in the local community.

Quick reply to inquiries about viewings and availability to view in Paignton. Great communication. We had a lovely member of staff from start to finish Anita Batson, she was a star ⭐. Took us around to view what properties we wanted & plus Anita offered others to view if we wanted to take a look we wanted to, which once she popped back to office to inform them & pick up keys and information. As we was living in the West Midlands , Anita kept us up to-date & like wise from us. Gary also helped us with inquiries when Anita had her day off. Over all what a fantastic team they have in Paignton’s Absolute office would highly recommend.
Once we moved down to Paignton & into our new home with amazing views of the beach & can see Torquay , once we got our keys & went into our new home there was a card & a box of goodies & offers on some retailers from Absolute estate agent , what a sweet surprise & big Thank You from us both.
