Faulty parts and time wasted
Seemed an easy enough process to buy, (nice enough staff) until I got home.
When I put the car into reverse once at home (I hadn’t needed to when collecting) a warning came onto the screen that there was a blockage or error with the parking sensors. I rang motorpoint and they gave me an appointment at 9AM the next day. When I arrived, no one was on site and the car park was locked. No one answered the phone either. How they missed this error anyway is not good enough then to have my time wasted further was even worse. The following week when I did take the car in and got a courtesy car, I got a call to say my parking sensors ‘are knackered’ and new parts needed ordering, so to pick up the car again and take it back once parts were there. Again, how this was missed is simply not good enough. In the meantime, the infotainment system started glitching and ‘ghost touching’ and when I looked into it, it has a well known problem that needs fixing too. But they can’t be fixed at the same time and need separate bookings. The car only had 5000 miles on it yet has a multitude of problems.
