The. Attentiveness of. Salesman Mark Williams. Nothing was too much trouble for him, would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a car from motorpoint.

We were made so welcome right from the start of our visit, everything was explained to us so well and made to feel at ease.

Mark was so helpful and so kind and stayed calm through out which helped us feel safe whilst buying our new car.

Brilliant service from test drive to purchase from Josh. Collection was hassle free with car tax and new keeper info all completed electronically by Josh. Bonus was 164 miles in the tank on collection😁

I think Motorpoint sell good cars for a good price

It's been a series of unfortunate events with Motorpoint Newport unfortunately!

Firstly, there were two Teslas we were potentially interested in, and had been available for a while, but when we tried to reserve either of them we were told they had just discovered some faults which meant they both had to be taken off-site to be repaired and could take up to a month! Couldn't believe our luck, or perhaps the lack of maintenance and preparation by the staff! Vehicles should be pretty much ready to go when advertised, surely...

Speaking of preparation, when we turned up and eventually were able to view one the cars (they fixed the fault on-site shortly after) which had supposedly been valeted, there was a lot of dirt in the creases of the seats and also around the door handles. Also, inside the front boot there was still lots of mud. Clearly hadn't been valeted, just a quick once over! Not what you expect when you pay a lot of money. The guy who showed us the vehicle was nice enough but knew nothing about the car so there were limits to how much he could help us by answering our reasonable questions.

Then the next day when we went to collect it, my husband had to wait over an hour for the Payments team to locate and allocate the two split transfer payments we made to purchase the vehicle that morning. The Sales team were unable to call the Payments team and apparently no one was responding on Teams. This caused my husband to have to take a half day of annual leave due to the delay. In fact, he's still waiting there now! We have already paid and have proof, so I don't feel this is our problem.

Not based at Newport, but I will say that Precious who I dealt with numerous times over the phone and via email due to the above, was incredibly professional and helpful.

Here's hoping there are no issues with the Tesla once it's home...

Very friendly & welcoming. Collection of vehicle was simple and as quick as it can be. Vehicle was in great condition. Would return and recommend. Thanks to Joshua who seen us through our collection process. He was great!

It was all down to Ben & josh very helpful and genuine, the only one thing I was a bit disappointed in was the fact of buying the new car was that there was no car mats in the car, nothing to do with the 2 lads

Excellent all the way through the process staff were very helpful and knowledgeable paperwork is now a lot easier to do but my sales advisor John put me at ease only fault I could pick up was phone lines could do with upgrading so if you wanted to speak to a particular person in a specific store u could otherwise great experience well done

The staff from the Reception desk to the car dealers are welcoming. The whole process of buying my car was clear, efficient and straightforward. Samuel, our dealer was particularly helpful, listened to my requests and presented my options clearly and honestly. Very pleased with the excellent service and my choice of car!

Start to finish everything went smoothly.

It was all okay but we had to wait quite awhile pass our 11 o'clock appointment but the guy i seen was very good and all was sorted

Very disappointing service from Motorpoint Newport. We visited on Monday, received a quote, and were told we could get a second opinion and return within 7 days, with no mention of any license issue. When we returned today, we were suddenly told they could not take the car because my partner has a provisional and international license. What is more concerning is that our friend called the Newport branch on 01633 739362 and was told that they do accept the car with a provisional license. The contradictory information and the way we were treated today were extremely unprofessional and left us feeling unfairly treated. Very poor communication and customer service. Would not recommend.

Avoid at all costs. Terrible company. Bought a Cupra Formentor on 26k miles a few months ago and had constant electrical problems, warranty company are useless, the car has now broken down with a serious gearbox fault and left me unable to work. The customer care is terrible. I’m now going to have to go through the legal process of rejecting the car
