I've liked Motion Design School's courses before, so this was a real disappointment. The software's logic isn't clearly explained, it relies heavily on a 'paint by numbers' approach, and because the interface has changed so much since the course was made, it's virtually unfollowable. For people who are serious about Rive, there has to be a better resource out there, because this one isn't worth the price or the headache.

Flashboards really speeds up the workflow. It would be great if it also could support a multi computer cloud workproces. I am working with google drive locally on three computers synching trough the cloud. Because the library folder is stored in the application preference directories of each separate computer, i have to export and import boards to continue on my projects.

A lot of malfunctions when trying out the AI generations.

Honestly, it’s glitchy. I keep running into issues with batches and I wish it just ran smoother.

I just LOVE this pluggin. The design/style features in in makes it so easy to have stylish characters without comprimising great animation. What a game changer.

I really enjoyed the Spline + Blender course. The lessons were clear and smooth, making the learning process enjoyable and easy to follow.

The quality is really good, unfortunately, you could find similar courses or classes for more affordable prices.

The content is very good and I appreciate the effort put into it. However, I ran into challenges with the first video on creating the disco ball character. The plug-in shown by the instructor does not match what I see in my version of Blender. I am using Blender 4.2 as suggested, but the plug-in has different options that do not line up with the instructor’s steps. Because of this, I have to search on Google for each step to keep up.

This makes the tutorial more frustrating than it should have been. Tutorials are meant to be fun and exciting to follow, but the plug-in issues made it harder to enjoy the learning process. I hope that in the future this course can be updated so that students using newer versions of Blender have an easier time following along. Some other companies have redone tutorials for newer versions and I think this course would benefit from that as well.

Overall, it is a strong course and I am learning a lot. With updates, it could be an excellent experience for even more students.

I started the training with zero knowledge of Blender. It was a bit tough to follow at first, but after that, everything just clicked! It's an amazing course — I'm only at the modeling stage, but I'm learning so much! Can’t wait to finish it.

I would say this course is narrowly valuable for an intermediate blender artist. Not much is offered in the way of explaning the rationale for things. For example, you might hear things like, "click this button and set it to .2, now select these edges and pick this menu item", but if you have a good foundation of understanding, it might give you some ideas for how to approach certain problems?

I would also caution anyone to be careful about purchasing courses during "promotional periods" as their normal refund policy is suspended for anything purchased at a discount.

Motion Secrets is what the name says, motion secrets! You learn some cool tricks and tips - just from mastering animating basic shapes. Character animation is super cool too. Recommend

I have really been enjoying the Animated Typfaces with Animography. The tutorials have been very straightforward and in-depth, which also allow for a student to create their own version of the homework during the course. The experience the instructor has and the wealth of resources offered is great and I feel I have learned a lot already. One of the downsides to this course, I felt, was the lack of preparation for the amount of plugins recommended by the instructor. For example, FontManager may have a free version but it does not allow the user to use certain features. I feel the course should state to expect to purchase these extra plugins as they do feel necessary for the course. During the course, certain links seem to be broken or no longer exist as well which I felt important to point out. Otherwise, it's been an enjoyable experience.

The main problem is the difference between mac and windows. Hotkeys sometimes are different and along with that the lecturer uses just them without showing how to find this or that operation using tabs and directory. Of course it's useful to know and to use HK but there always should be shown an alternative option how to do it in order to better orient in the workspace at least. Because of this issue I constantly stuck on the same spot by trying to figure out myself or looking for other sources.

Also in some cases I repeat everything after him and it doesn't work, I even try to break down all his key presses and it's useless. And it's only the first lesson. Tell the truth I regret I started this course and I doubt I'll finish it

Despite that I'd say it has a good quality and interesting structure but it is extremely hard to complete counting that fact that I'm not a newbie in using c4d

Big fan of Motion Design School and this product is a one-tool army for creating really smooth animations that clients will love. Great work with Super Morphings as always

No one can couldn't be get anything in Free than what Motion script does..

The course is led in a very clear manner. It can easily be followed by someone who just started their journey with Blender. I love the structure of the course and how the content was divided within a chapter into digestable steps. Love the creativity behind every course from MDS. The ideas for the characters, scenes, design elements are just mind-blowing and so fun to work with. The hot keys being shown on the screen are super helpful too. The course are always full of tips, working files and expertise you could not just get from other tutors. I’ve already learnt so much and was able to apply the knowledge on my own projects.
