Oh no! Carpet damage!
We have moved into an old house with a superficial makeover. We found damage to the carpet and suspected carpet moth. We immediately purchased a spray from a local supplier and this has been effective eg dead larvae. We searched for a suitable moth trap and decided on moth out. The product we chose came with a spray. The traps have already captured 1-2 moths in each room after a few days. Have used the moth out spray today but cannot yet assess the effectiveness. However the company has been very helpful with a follow up email after delivery. I sent photos of captured moths and larvae and they have responded swiftly with identification and recommended actions. So we plan to vacuum and spray weekly and this may include moth out spray. We will replace the moth out traps after the recommended 3 months. Thank you for your swift service.

Effective products and great customer service
This is my 3rd year of using MothOut moth traps. In the first 2 years I noticed a significant drop in the populations of clothes and carpet moths in our house, and I expect to trap very few this year. I have tried similar traps from other companies but none are as effective as these. MothOut customer service is friendly and helpful, with useful reminders of detailed instructions about moth control but without pushing sales. Prices are good too. Well recommended all round.

Moth out products are the best on the market.
Moth out products are quite simply the best on the market.
I had a bad problem with clothes and carpet moths and used the spray for the carpet areas and traps for the clothes, although both can be used in areas interchangeably, the result was incredible. I never would have guessed that it had been so bad,but the products did a fantastic job and I now just use them in case the odd one arrives.
I thoroughly recommend the products and the owner Tom is a great chap, really helpful and friendly.

THANK YOU once again! The moth traps arrived the next day, so speedily, even on Christmas Eve. I have now ordered several packs of the moth traps, have beaten a bad carpet moth infestation with Tom's help and will now never be without these traps in every room. I have learnt so much, and now protect all my clothing with wool content. I am recommending you to my friends too, as this is such a ubiquitous problem that often people just ignore until it gets really bad and out of control. I can't thank you enough for your generous support! As a side note, we found the pantry moth traps really useful for infested wild bird seed.

P.S. If the glue ever comes into contact with clothing, the best way to remove it is with a little acetone (nail polish remover). Always test it first on a hidden area of the fabric, as some fibres may react differently to acetone.

Five stars of effective!
Five star service and a five star product - I have used other brands alongside MothOut, simultaneously and while the moth out product has a scary amount of moths caught , the other product caught zero - both over a six week period in opposite ends of a 9m room that is always a moth haven; can’t recommend them highly enough. And especially if you are in permanently blighted North London, these traps are essential.
