Genuinely excellent experience

I've used Mooving On London twice now, for large house moves and both times they have been fantastic. Incredibly efficient, nice to work around, great communication, and most importantly, when something went wrong - they put it right, quickly. Their prices are also the cheapest, having shopped around.

Very quick and efficient

I highly recommend them. They moved all our stuff very quickly and efficiently and with great care. They were very helpful and friendly and even offered me a fruit juice on our way to a storage facility. I would use their services again.

Great service

The three removals men worked so hard in 35 degree heat. They were very polite and helpful and worked quickly. Really careful with all our belongings. They made sure they put everything where we needed it in the new house. Would highly recommend.

We just completed a big move from a 3…

We just completed a big move from a 3 bedroom home with all of our furniture, and we're very happy with Mooving On London. The team were friendly, hardworking, and responsive throughout. Pricing was also competitive against the other quotes we obtained. We will use them again in the future.

I want to address the last negative review, as I was the client on that move and should clarify what happened.

On the parking incident, the van was on a yellow line because I had asked the team to park there, following the council's advice. I was not home at the time and did not specify which yellow line, and the team missed the sign indicating that a garage was in active use behind it. That was a simple mistake. The owner of the garage was upset that no note had been left on the windscreen, but since the team had not seen the sign, they had no reason to think a note was needed. Once their office informed them, they reacted as quickly as they could, and management apologised straight after. Part of the blame sits with me for not being more specific about where to park.

I completely understand it must have been frustrating for the owner, but at some point we all need to extend a little forgiveness when someone makes an honest mistake and apologises for it. Mistakes happen, and the response from the company was quick and courteous.

On the second point, the reviewer is mistaken. The moving company did not come back with a hoist. I did, as the client, because a hoist was the only way to get our furniture out of the house. I had to park in front of the garage for around an hour. The owner needed his car during that time and thankfully was able to get one out, otherwise we would have moved the hoist temporarily if needed. This had nothing to do with Mooving On London, and it is unfair to attack their service for something that is not related to the quality of their work.

Overall, a professional, well priced and considerate team. Highly recommended.

Today, my garage blocked by Mooving on London

Today, at 10:16, Moving on London van WM17 EOB parked in front of my garage preventing access. I needed to leave by car at 10:58 and call MoL office who refused to give me the location of the driver but said someone would come soon, I called again but the van was not moved until 11:18. The driver said “Sorry but I had a job to do!” So did I! This action shows entitlement and lack of concern for others that does not fit with your other reviews.

Mooving on London replied to this message, not to apologize but to suggest that my complaint was inaccurate and diverted attention from the main facts by giving times for telephone calls that suggested it was OK to block my garage for that time.
The whole incident was recorded on the Neighbourhool Watch CCTV, Mooving on London was not loading, they were simply parked illegally for an hour. The next day, despite knowing my telephone number they were back without warning, using a mobile elevator and partially blocking the garage again although with difficulty I was able to exit with one car.

Our records show that your first call to our office was received at 11:07, followed by a second call at 11:13. By 11:18, the vehicle in question had already been moved. While we understand that any temporary obstruction can be frustrating, the timeline suggests that the matter was addressed promptly once it was brought to our attention.

Our team members are often working in busy residential areas where short-term access constraints can occasionally occur while carrying out moves. That said, we always aim to minimise disruption and respond as quickly as possible when notified.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused, but we do believe this situation was resolved efficiently. We remain committed to maintaining a considerate and professional service at all times.

I would highly recommend Mooving on, not only by price but the team was friendly, efficient and took the stress out of moving a 5 bed house. Everything was well packed and even when our completion was delayed by 24 hours there was no problem in storing the items overnight. I'd definitely use this company again.

The lads arrived 8am, fully dismantled and packed a 3 bed house. Moved it, reassembled and put all the boxes in the room by 5pm same day. Not a single item broken or missed.

Great value relative to peer offerings. Generally can't fault anything!

Terrible Service! Do not TRUST this company.

I am compelled to express my dissatisfaction with the recent service this company provided. In December 2025, I engaged their services, which resulted in substandard outcomes. They caused damage to our piano and treadmill; it is evident that they lack expertise in piano removal services. The treadmill has not functioned properly since the move. Additionally, they chipped the door and frame of my wardrobe.

I forwarded an email in the first week of January, including photographs of the damage, regarding my claim and am currently awaiting their response.

Furthermore, the staff exhibited unprofessional attitudes and frequently communicated in a foreign language in our presence.

This company was once reputable; however, their quality of service has significantly deteriorated.

I have replied to their unfounded accusations and lies. They have been given 14 days as of 17/03/2026 to share their insurance company's details with me (if they have such a policy), or I will take the matter to court.

As part of our standard procedure, our team photographs items prior to handling and loading in order to record their pre-existing condition. Following your complaint, we conducted a full internal review, including examination of these time-stamped photographs and discussions with the removal crew. The investigation concluded that the scratches and marks referenced in your claim — including those relating to the piano and wardrobe — were pre-existing prior to transportation. The photographic evidence taken on the day clearly supports this conclusion.

With regard to the treadmill, no incidents were reported during loading, transport, or unloading, and no operational concerns were raised at the completion of the move. There is no recorded event that could reasonably account for the mechanical issue described.

We also reviewed our communication records. Your initial email was responded to promptly with instructions on how to submit a formal claim in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. However, your formal claim was submitted approximately one month later, outside the contractual timeframe for submitting a claim, which inevitably delayed the investigation.

We take comments regarding staff conduct seriously. Our team members are trained professionals with significant experience in handling specialist and heavy items, including pianos. While team members may occasionally communicate with one another in their native language for operational clarity and safety during complex lifting tasks, this is never intended to cause discomfort or appear unprofessional.

Following a thorough review of all evidence, we concluded that the allegations of damage caused by our service were unfounded. For this reason, we respectfully state that this review does not represent the reality and was posted in pursuit of compensation rather than as an honest reflection of events supported by documented evidence.

We remain committed to transparent procedures, documented condition reporting, and professional standards on every move we undertake.

Unprofessional communication after choosing another service... AVOID

The initial request for a quote and a video call to walk through our apartment went very well. Smooth and communicated nicely. However, we ended up not using this service as we received another quote faster than the one they sent through, we went with that company as we had limited time to make a decision on movers. I used a quote comparison website so I got a lot of responses for my query through at once. When contacted by the company to ask about my quote, I politely responded that we had chosen the services of another company. They responded asking for feedback so I stated:

"We just received a quote faster after a video call with that company. If we hadn't already signed its likely we would have chosen your quote as it was slightly cheaper. Thanks."

And their response? Wait for it!:

"What’s the point on doing a survey and not waiting for the quote to come through"

I was shocked!! The response was incredibly rude and unwarranted, and WHOLLY UNPROFESSIONAL. If a company does not want to take on board the feedback from a customer / rebut it, don't ask for it in the first place!

Of course, whoever the representative was back-pedalled and tried to remand their intentions, but it was too late. Maybe try some better customer service and not to take feedback personally, as it was not aimed at you!

I'm glad we chose another company, because this interaction showed their true colours. I'd recommend avoiding, as if they're not going to take care with their customer interactions, imagine how much care they'd take with your belongings.
