Very quick turnaround with Moonstone from sending the packaging to you, you returning and receiving payment, I received my payment within about an hour from accepting the offer, the offer is about what I expected, overall I would definately recommend moonstone and would use their service in the future

Website price totally different to offer price.
Did a quote online for my 17g 9ct gold curb chain that I had for a few years. The website offered £391*
Moonstone offered the best price from the few I checked.
Ordered my postal pack and it come 48 hours later. Pre paid special delivery.
Sent it off Monday, they received it Tuesday. Got a call on Tuesday afternoon with my offer.
The weighed it and it was actually 16.7g which is fair enough. They then said we can offer you 291. I pointed out their website said 391. She put me on hold for a minute and came back and said the website is only an estimate, she then said after speaking with her boss they can offer 314. I told them no sorry and to send it back.
*Their website does state estimate, but I think they offer the highest price so you send your gold in and they then hope you just accept the price. Their website states the estimate is based on the golds weight and condition, which mine all met but still they offered a ridiculously low price to their estimate.
The turnaround however was brilliant. So they have the stars for that. Sent it back for free and I received it back the day after. Obviously you don't have to accept the offer but they need to be more transparent on their website.
I sent it off to a shop in Birmingham and got 371 for it.

Our prices are comparable with all online buyers and we will always try to match or beat other quotes.

I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction with the prompt and efficient service provided by Moonstone Gold Ltd. On Monday, I dispatched a parcel containing my old, broken gold scraps, utilizing the company's provided bags. Remarkably, the parcel was received the following morning, and by that same afternoon, I received a fair and satisfactory offer for the gold.
I was particularly impressed by the exceptional speed at which the payment was processed. Contrary to the promised 24-hour timeframe, the funds were deposited into my account within an astonishing 34 minutes.

The test was doen quickly and efficiently, and I was informed of the result by phone very quickly, even before the items had been sent back to me: exceptional.
