Choosing Moody Publisher for my book project turned out to be a worthwhile experience. I mainly used their book cover design service, and I liked how they turned my basic ideas into something much more visually appealing. They were open to my suggestions, made the revisions I requested and paid attention to the smaller design details. The finished cover gave my book a much stronger and more professional look.
I'm 68 years old and this is my first book. I walked in assuming they'd talk over my head with industry jargon I wouldn't understand. Henry did the opposite, explained everything in plain terms, double checked I was comfortable at every step. Made an old man feel like his story mattered.
English isn't my first language and I was terrified my manuscript would get lost in transition, literally and figuratively. Sophie paired me with an editor who understand exactly what I was trying to say even when my sentences didn't quite land right. She never made me feel embarrassed about it, just helped me sound like myself. Forever grateful.
