Lovely Basket
I'll be honest - this was not my first choice for an Easter gift for my daughter in college but the other options fell through last minute and I am so glad it did as Montreal Baskets not only provided me a quick and reliable solution but the basket was adorable and a huge hit with my daughter and her friends --- THANK YOU SO MUCH for helping this mom feel better about her first Easter without her daughter.

VERY DISAPPOINTING
Very disappointing experience and STRONGLY NOT RECOMMENDING Montreal Baskets. This was meant to be something special for my daughter’s first Easter away at university, yet the basket delivered was completely different from what was ordered.
I ordered a “Pink Easter Bunny Gift Basket” and received no bunny at all, just a grey bear, and several items I selected were replaced (including pretzels swapped for peanuts).
I understand small substitutions, but this was not a minor change. The main item and theme were not respected. If the bunny is unavailable, the product should not be sold under that name, or customers should be informed in advance.
Peanuts were also substituted without notice, which raises basic duty of care concerns when it comes to food items.
Customer service refused any refund, hiding behind their substitution policy with no acknowledgment of the issue.
For the price paid, this is not acceptable and feels misleading. Buyers should be aware that what you receive may not match what is advertised.

First of all, I was surprised that Montreal Baskets was not a Montreal company. That being said, I was extremely pleased with the reaction of the recipients of my gift. They were so impressed with the presentation and the contents of this “basket” that my thank you to them was all the more special. Thank you so much for having expressed exactly what I wanted. Should the occasion present itself, I will definitely use your services again!

Basket
I ordered a basket that they put on hold because of a problem with the address. It took me a little while to reach the person because someone had just died and I just made the 2pm cutoff. Initially they told me they could not deliver it the next day. When I told them I made the cutoff, they checked with the warehouse and after some back and forth they said they could do it.
The person did receive it the next day.

Could not confirm the actual dato for delivery. Then, when delivered, one of the product was damaged. But since it was still edible, they said they cannot refund. Might as well order somewhere else if the presentation and quality is not an important factor for them...

Broken jar of olive
They indeed replaced out-of-stock goods. But in my case, they replaced my goods with 2 jars of olives, of which 1 jar broke. Glasses and juice are all over the basket. So I cannot give the otherwise beautiful basket as a gift.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. Was is promised is not delivered
What was received was vastly different then what I purchased. I understand their was substations allowed of equal or greater value but this was not the case! Artisan crackers were replaced with Breton crackers, there was Doritos in the basket (to replace what? who knows). The 2x high end chocolate bars I paid extra for weren't included at all and there was no plush at all. When I complained to the company they said this was legitimate and no refund would be provided. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

Very nice gift basket.
The basket was well designed and very appreciated We gave that as a thank you to our neighbor for the care she gave our dog during our absence. She was delighted in receiving the basket that included chocolate and a bottle of wine packaged separately in the box.
