To reiterate: Mondo claim that MTN and Vodacom have outsourced their marketing and administration to Mondo which is definitely NOT the case! It is also impossible to speak to a senior person at Mondo as the consultant's standard answer is that they are in a meeting and will call back!

Absolutely pathic services took more than a month to come back to me with my cancellation request, and still no feedback. Call centre staff telling me it's not their problem if they haven't done it as yet and I'm billed for something I don't have.
Very disappointing experience
I attempted to purchase a Godzilla 89 premium statue. 7 months and $350 later I still didn't have it. Couldn't get a straight answer out of them about why the delay or satisfactory answer on when it would be delivered. Finally just gave up and asked for a refund. Remains to be seen if I actually get it.

I have bought twice this year, 2021, and both times were exceptional- double boxed, fast delivery, reasonable priced shipping.

Okay my experience with mondo was very good in the first three months, after that things just went down hill... I joined mondo on September and then on November I got a message saying that my account is due but then the names on that message weren't mine so I didn't pay attention to them. And then on November I got a message again saying my service has been interrupted then I couldn't use anything on the sim card but I didn't understand how because every month Mondo took their money from my account but then I didn't understand because at first my sim card contract was a good deal 40 gigs for R200 but then on November it was R300 and still my sim card was locked I tried to email mondo I got no response I email telkom still no response even on December they took R300 and now because I even downloaded the app to find out what's happening I see that now im due R499 which still I don't understand how in the first place. Can I still get help please or other this month I'm canceling everything my experience was very bad and is still there nothing changed....

Paid for shipping instead of availing of their free shipping so that it would arrive faster. It's been more than a month already, and no update on shipment yet. Per tracking, it's been stuck in the same place since late November. First time to order here - looks to be my last.
Mondo are great and trustworthy.
I feel the need to give Mondo some great feedback. They sent me the wrong record to start with, not going to lie I was annoyed as anyone would be. However, I got in touch with them, I recieved a quick response from Ian L at Customer Service and he offered me a replacement straight away, and as I live in the UK, I got to keep the other record aswell that was sent by mistake. He went out of his way for me and I'm very happy with Mondo and will buy from them again in the future as they've now gained my trust.

Watch out for expensive but poorly pressed vinyls
Bought a vinyl record which was really poorly pressed (appears to be a common problem). It was not cheap yet was sightly warped and had clicks from new. I contacted Mondo customer service and they wrote back saying the vinyl was out of stock and that I should look through their catalogue for more vinyls to buy. Absolutely no acknowledgement of the poor QC or the content of my email. Maybe is was an auto generated email. Unimpressed.

DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE A VALID COMPANY
I have been waiting for my order for over a month. When I email them requesting a status, they state that it will arrive "by Monday." Then when Monday comes and goes, they say, "by the end of the week." Then when the week passes by, they say, "it will arrive by Monday." Then when Monday comes and goes, they stop responding to my requests for updates. I'm not sure if the company is legitimate. DO NOT SHOP HERE AND WASTE YOUR MONEY. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY PRODUCT AND I AM DOUBTFUL I EVER WILL.

Where do I begin? Absolutely outstanding customer service! Not only have Mondo reimbursed me for multiple customs charges incurred on two of my recent orders, due to a warehouse move which has impacted their operations they have also refunded me the shipping cost in full and as a goodwill gesture given me a gift code worth $75 to spend towards my next order. Mondo have gone above and beyond my expectations and I commend you on handling such issues with dignity and care. It is greatly appreciated and for this I thank you.

Shopped here for years with no problems , but then I ordered something back in November and waited and waited with no update to my order , so messaged them several times before getting a response which was there was an internal error with my order being put on hold due to a warehouse move ( sounds like a lot of old spill to me ) And was assured it was manually re ordered to be dispatched within 24hrs lol ,that was 2 weeks ago and still no update to my order , the worst and most frustrating part is the total ignorance to my countless messages . Will never shop from there again. Very disappointed with the lack of after service.

These people are awful and can't even ship your first order from them. They lie to you and just do not care. Honestly the worst online shopping experience I've ever had.

I ordered my first item from here the other week.
I ordered a vinyl and it turned up here to the UK within a week or so, which is very quick. I was happy with that! The price including shipping was very reasonable for an international order.
The only one drawback... Which could have potentially been a big one is that at one point, the package tracking stated that there was an issue with my item. I contacted mondo via Instagram, and directly via their website to ask if they could look into it. I didn't, and still haven't received a reply. At the same time I contacted the courier direct, who informed me they had resolved the issue and it was all sorted. It turned out well for me, but I feel that Mondo should have at least responded.
All in all, it was happy with the item a D how quickly I got it, but do worry that if I ordered from them again, and there was a problem with my order, that I wouldn't be able to get I touch with them to sort out any problems.
