Very poor product. There were no written instructions for the Mille Feuille so I had to keep running back and forward to the pc to watch an instruction video. The ingredients were confusingly packed (both the flour and the cocoa powder were each in two sachets with half the required ingredient in each - what was that all about? They both were only used once). Even the video was contradictory, telling me to put the custard on a window sill and then later when it was time to pipe it to take it out of the fridge. They supplied a ruler for marking the baking paper - the ruler is 15cm long, the rectangle required is 32cm x 22 cm. Mille Feuille is one of my favourite cakes however I would advise either following a written recipe or watching an alternative video on youtube etc and getting your own ingredients (which are only standard baking bits anyway)

Bought a subscription for my son’s Christmas presents. Despite trying to contact them on numerous occasions. I’ve received no responses and no classic dessert kits as purchased. Absolutely shocking!

I was given a 3 month dessert kit subscription as a 50th birthday present, which was a well thought-out gift based on a lot of research by the giver.

In September 2024 I contacted Mon to ask if they could delay the 3rd kit as I would be away for a month. I never heard back and didn't receive a response to my follow up emails.

In October I received a generic email stating that due to "BIG transition behind the scenes" I would not be receiving my October kit.

"Due to this transition—which we will announce very soon—our website is temporarily unavailable, meaning we cannot process October subscriptions or provide access to online recipes. This was something we hoped to avoid, but unfortunately, we couldn’t resolve it in time for this month."

The next email in Novemer was a poorly drafted self-congratulatory message stating that the business (or assets) had been bought out of administration and they would no longer be honouring existing subscriptions. However the new owner would be "building on the amazing work Samina has put in over the last 8 years."

Would that be building on a business that couldn't make a profit, that couldn't provide the correct ingredients for two previous kits, that ignored all emails from customers?

These kits are very basic and the equipment provided is fairly poor quality - looks like it has been sourced from AliExpress.

Anyone considering buying from this sham of a company should think hard before handing over any money.

What a shambles.

Still waiting for October baking box. Paid for a 3 month’s subscription only received 2/3. Not responding to emails.

Easy to follow recipe and the macaroons turned out delicious😋

I had a lemon macarons kit and it was so good! I loved the template that came with it and the extra help from QR code! Was easy simple to follow. For my first time macarons I was very pleased!

Very straightforward to use, I would not have attempted macarons without the clear instructions and step by step guide. It’s very handy and the results were delicious.

I ordered the lemon macaron kit and was so impressed! Delivery was quick, instructions were clear and the result was amazing! So delicious and enjoyed by everyone! Will definitely get more kits for myself and for gifts.

I loved the packaging and instructions and just how easy everything was. I had always thought macarons were for experienced bakers but I did it!

Ordered 3 month subscription for wife's 35th birthday. She has completed the form and sent off twice now but heard nothing. We have both written email asking for communication but nothing. Have I just wasted £60?

Have to say I received a subscription as a gift and so far have been incredibly disappointed with the desserts.

The instructions are so brief, they just don’t give enough info (and I bake frequently). The sticky toffee puddings were awful, went in the bin. Having just done the macarons I fear they will be the same. Completely unclear as to how to use the mat provided and not enough batter to cover even half the moulds?

Tempted to not even bother with the other 2 kits - never mind what they deliver is usually not what they say they will / the valentines one was about a week late.

Very disappointed with the company. Terrible communication and customer service. I was given a gift subscription, they did not deliver any kits then after much chasing up they deliver the kits which all had a short expiry date which made me think they were just old stock. They say they are a small business and I am all for supporting small business but if you can’t deliver then don’t take the money or at least communicate with your customers and give a refund if you are not able to fulfil the order instead posting out old stock.

I'm being generous with my star rating. It took them 10 days just to hand the parcel to Royal Mail which they of course blamed on Christmas despite me ordering right at the very beginning of December. There was no communication about the delay and I had to contact them myself about it. Meanwhile though they continued to send daily promotional emails. Of course this is automatic and you can just unsubscribe but it feels a bit off to be constantly encouraged to buy more when they can't even manage to get what you have ordered out. They don't seem to be reliable and I don't think I would order from them again because of that.

My husband and I are both novice bakers, but we were able to follow the tutorial and instructions from Mondessert to make this absolutely delicious lemon tart. We split the work, with my husband making the pastry and me preparing the lemon curd. The tart was made relatively quickly, and the results were amazing!

The pastry was crispy and flaky, and the lemon curd was tart and sweet, with just the right amount of sweetness. We served the tart to our friends, and it was a huge hit! Everyone loved the tart, and we would definitely order it again and recommend it to others.

My son purchased this as a gift. I’m so disappointed that I’ve still not received my first dessert, I have contacted you several times where by you inform me it’s on its way. To date I’ve still not received it.

Ordered a dessert kit on 25th April, it failed to turn up, emailed them about it, they apologised and sent another, this too failed to turn up. They tried again with a different courier, who failed to pick the item up. I appreciate it's not entirely their fault, but if they are unable to actually deliver the goods I have no choice but to give a one star review. Communication was good however.
