They make slanderous comments.
Currently have an agreement with them. They have been kind enough to offer another arrangement. With 3 directors, communication with one can be tricky. They did not believe my attempts and stated in an email: "am lead to believe you have not attempted to call him and purposely misleading us."
This is a serious accusation about myself and am deeply disappointed from whom I thought was a reputable lender and great until now.
I provided a video as evidence, but I shouldn't have to do this.
It is a serious defamation of my character considering I run multiple businesses and seriously think businesses should think twice before using these now after my experience.

We are sorry that you feel you have been treated unfairly under the circumstances that you have set out below. We hold ourselves accountable to the highest level of customer service and in treating customers fairly, especially in these challenging times.
In April, we contacted you to see how COVID-19 had affected your business and understand your position in order to determine an appropriate solution to assist you and your business. We were able to agree terms to restructure the facility.
As you are aware, we came across some difficulties finalising the restructured agreements. Whilst we have attempted to work with all parties involved, we were receiving mixed messages. It is still our intention to assist the business and provide necessary respite, however as we are sure you can appreciate, we require the standard compliance and AML checks to be met.

This is the worst Loan company ever
This is the worst Loan company ever. It's best to avoid them and take your business elsewhere.
I missed one direct debit when I was on holiday and they promptly issued a small claim against me and my company. I called them to explain the situation and offered to pay by direct debit over the phone. They would not take debit card payments. The only payment methods available to them were bank transfers or another direct debit. I explained to them that I can make the payment over the phone as it was easier but my explanation fell on deaf ears. I can't believe that in this day and age a loan company has no facility to accept payments over the phone. I then managed to get the bank transfer done and they still proceeded to file the small claims. There is no customer care at all. Horrible customer service. Best avoided.
Update
The only communication I ever received were email notifications of failed DD payments. I was on holiday and therefore not checking my emails.The emails have no information on how I could make an alternative payment, not even a phone number. The missed payment was on 1 Jan and 3 weeks later you issued a court claim. Replay my conversation with your assistant again and you will note that you confirmed that you never attempted to call me at all. In her own words, you are not obliged to call me. I had to 2 further emails before I could get confirmation that the court claim will be cancelled.

We hold ourselves accountable to the highest level of customer service and in also always treating customers fairly, especially when they fall behind with required loan repayment obligations.
We have studied our records, including email correspondence and recorded telephone calls, of the events you describe. From those, we would arrive at a different conclusion of events what you have described. Merchant Money in fact tried to make contact with you for over a full calendar month to discuss the missed loan repayment with no response by you to any of our approaches. Due to that lack of response, we had no option but to proceed in submitting a claim against you for the payment due in order to protect our position on the 24th of January 2020. You then responded immediately. Despite you making the required payment shortly thereafter, we were not able to prevent the confirmation of the claim being issued on the 27th of January 2020, which is due process that needs to be followed by UK legal process, regardless if payment is made prior to any claim being issued. We can confirm that Merchant Money subsequently settled the claim in full on the 4th of February 2020.
Your frustration in not being able to make a payment using a credit or debit card over the phone is noted and Merchant Money will shortly be in a position where we will be able to accept such forms of payment. We apologies of the inconvenience of not being able to action this for you at the time.
