I contacted Modern Lighting solutions to replace some 12v suspended lamps which we had inherited when moving house. I telephoned them as a first time customer knowing nothing about this type of lighting. The person I spoke to gave me fantastic advice and we purchased new lamps. The lamps came the following day all the way to Cornwall. I then lost a clip and they sent me a new one straight away. This a genuine review and can honestly say this is a superb company.

Parts arrived and fitted nicely. Customer service sorted me out on what I needed. It would be good to leave detailed instructions on what is needed for LED replacement of halogens with additional transformer.

Very good retailer, I placed an order for additional lamps for a track system and within 5 minutes they called and asked me if I knew I needed a track to go with the lamps, very thoughtful and impressive.
Perhaps they could make it clearer if lamps come with bulbs or not, but that's a minor quibble.

Rang them and described what I was trying to do with a 12v cable lighting solution for a kitchen. Talked thru the whole process and was made to feel at easy with process and what I was ordering.

As a domestic customer I was not sure what to expect - however I found my enquiry was treated as important and given the necessary advice I required for a suspended wire installation. I received my orders quickly (some spots as well) the packaging ensured everything arrived in perfect condition.

I had a wonderful customer care service, thanks to Mr. Ian Kershaw who looked after me .
Firstly , he contacted me directly, when I wasn't able to make a payment for my online order, as the credit card payment section was out of order.
He took my details and promptly sent me my goods.
Then, I realised that the product I had paid for was unsuitable and he guided me on how to reorder and return the product without delay.
I am really very impressed with this transaction and how Lighting Solutions have treated me.
I also live in the Republic of Ireland which further complicated the situation, but everything was resolved professionally and with care.

Bought 12v lights from Ikea and cable snapped. Tried all local shops and was quoted silly and expensive prices and with shocking delivery times and costs.
