Excellent Team !!

Excellent Team !! I have purchased 3 to 4 plugins from Milople and I got many problems with my website after installing the plugins. You can not say no emails for several days, we have screenshots of offered help. But you were not ready to share staging URL and want to test the module only. We have clearly mentioned in policy that we are not giving modules for testing only.

Unusable Extension

We purchased the partial payment extension for Magento and from day one it was a bit of a nightmare, we worked with support for 2 months but gave up as we still didn't have a working extension.

They had numerous major issues that we worked through with support but found that I had to find errors in the code and point them in the right direction.

One major issue was that if you selected multiple instalments, Magento would register all the selected instalments as paid but if you actually checked PayPal only 1 of the instalments were paid. This could have been very dangerous if I didn't spot during testing.

When we went live we realised that customer could checkout without an account and due to this they would never be able to access the instalment page which makes the extension useless, unless you force every single customer to create an account which would affect the rest of our customer. We also had issues were some customers couldn't see the instalment page.

The support was quite responsive but I cannot believe this extension is being sold, it is a long way from being production ready. We decided to move on to another provider as we spent 2 months working on this extension without any luck.

Dear Ashvin

I repeatedly endeavored to be put in touch with you directly to discuss the extremely difficult time we have had working with your company. You need to know how frustrating it has been and need to review all the members of your team who have been involved in our project. To say that it has been a disaster, is an understatement.

We ordered a subscription extension from you which when we bought it were advised that it would be compatible with PayPal and our shopping cart. It turns out that it was not. We then paid Milople extra money to customize it to function. After the customization, it did not work. Because figuring this out took longer than the 3 month free support your company provides, we had to pay for additional support hours. We were given vague and contradictory information during that time about setup that needed to be done on the PayPal side to make the extension function. It seems that during this time, your team also made various efforts to fix the bugs.Some bugs were finally fixed. Currently it works somewhat... but NOT correctly. Your extension still automatically unsubscribes our customers and we need to manually resubscribe them so they dont fall off. This is a bug in your code that needs to be addressed. We just received a message from your team saying that we need to buy more support hours from you to fix the problem in your code. 

During this long, extended journey we have alienated innumerable customers who had a TERRIBLE experience. Some of them have had to resubscribe multiple times. Many of them never resubscribed so we simply lost their business. And there are countless comments on the various collector forums where people talk about our products saying what a terrible and untrustworthy website we have. This journey with Milople has created bad feelings with our customers, cost us a lot of money and damaged our reputation.

I write to you... owner to owner... with the hope that you will take note of our experience. While I am not suggesting that your team is intentionally providing bad service or going out of their way to damage our business... that is the reality for us of working with Milple. You need to know this.

Please look at the values your state on YOUR WEBSITE:

I would like to respond to each of these:

1. Your organization may be large, but it is making a lot of people UNHAPPY. Particularly me.
2. The subscription we bought from you is NOT WORLD CLASS. It doesn't work.
3. Values: 
Your work is not making FANS around the world, it is making a lot of people frustrated and upset.Your extension is NOT EXCELLENT.
It doesnt work. And your leadership team is neither resolving the problems nor demonstrating any interest in having satisfied customers.
Trust - because of the obtuse, incomplete, and conflicting information received from your support team, it is impossible to have trust in your company. Bottom line, we have repeatedly been told the problems are solved and they are not. 
Freedom - I don't understand this vision... freedom from what? The only relevance I see here is that your team is telling us that they are free from any responsibility for the mess working with your extension has caused.
Candid - There is no candor in any of the communications we have had with your support team. They have neither taken ownership for any of the problems your extension has caused and NEVER APOLOGIZED.
Speed - we have been trying to sort out these problems for months. They are still not fixed.

You need to know this. You need to have a serious sit down with your team. You need to get your house in order... and you need to apologize to me for the mess that we are still not done trying to clean up.

Milople provides a paiment extension, but you should not use their services as they are unable to provide a secured solution. Milople is not able to work with SCA (strong customer authentification), nor 3D Secure.

Milople is clearly one of the worst company ever.

They handed-in our project with 4 months of delay, and the solution was absolutely no secured. The solution worked partly for two months and had to be left out, as the code was so badely written.

As an example, the customization of the extension was asked in june 2020 for july 2020, was delivered in october 2020 and stopped working in may 2021. Since then, no support was correctly handled by Milople and we have lost 2 full weeks of order by the time we managed to develop something else with real professional.

We tried to contact the CEO, as developpers would not offer support, but we had no answer. We had to decide to drop their solution (and they never answered properly for the support demand).

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY
PS: This company has used a lot of fake reviews

2022 update to answer Milople's reaction :
The problems were not solved at all. In fact, we had to hire a new team and develop everything from scratch.
The developers we hired told us they had rarely seen such poor quality code.
Once again don't trust their fake reviews

Purchased a module and found it's not…

Purchased a module and found it's not suitable for our requirements which is only evident after purchase, given the additional customisations required.

Requested a refund which was refused.

Milope return policy is not worth the paper its written on - they do not refund even after a perfectly good explanation.

Furthermore, reading their returns policy it states specifically only reasons why no refund is given and my reason was not on there, however there is no conditions as to why a refund is allowed - which makes the whole thing subjective.

Speaking to bank about reversing payment now, so we'll get our money back anyway - but it would of been more professional of the company to actually abide by not only their own refund policy but behave legally and they could of avoided this review.

I guess this is what you get when you purchase from an Indian business that just makes up the rules.

All good

Got module (M2 Partial Payment), needed some modifications. Those were done with very good price. Module is working like we expected. Support is awesome and fast. Even without SSH access, fixes were done very fast.

Update 12.02.2021

We did not test this module whole functionality. Now couple months later (support time is over) we faced major issue. Clients cant pay their pending amount thru account (after logging in). Tested this with clean magento 2.3.4, default template, clean module (without any changes). Same error. This was promised functionality, but its not working. Answer from support wast that we have to buy support time.

That feels like its mandatory to test this whole module within support period. Thats not something we have faced with amasty, mageplaza etc. And tbh its not our job to be sure that module works.

Now we have lots of orders, half payed and how to get that other part is suddenly our responsibility, because module just does not do what it promised.

Because of that Im forced to lower rating from 5->3.

Update 19.03.2021

All issues have been resolved. Support provided us a patch (a week ago). Had to do some testing to vertify that all works.

Rating is back to 5 because even if there are any problems, support will resolve them fast.
