Ordered a 15' x 11' (bespoke size) shed with several amendments, extra bearers in the floor for REALLY heavy duty use to go onto my own laid concrete base. Great communication from start to finish from them. Only slight issue was my measurements! Being so close to an existing fence, there wasn't the room to install. I opted for them NOT to install it for me, even though this was included in the price (as this was my issue, not theirs) and they were very helpful and understanding, explaining all the various panels and parts and were reluctant to leave it with me (probably fearing a bad review). I moved the fence slightly (6 inches) and erected the shed with my Dad and all went up really well. I was really pleased with the thickness of the timber used and the overall quality of the product. I would say a real bargain for a really sturdy product. I opted for standard felt, but as I fitted it myself, I did stick it down with adhesive as well as clout nails. Really pleased with the end product.

Very easy to order the shed, staff all very helpful and knowledgeable. Delivery as arranged and great people installed efficiently and quickly. Love the shed. Very happy with my purchase.

Absolutely amazing experience with this company can’t fault anything only wished id found them sooner, i was kept up to date with everything from start to finish, i was overwhelmed with the 2 gentleman that built my summer house, the detail that was given, the perfection of there work was outstanding and nothing was to much trouble to the point they helped me by building a shed id bought to go along side the summerhouse which i was having trouble with, such friendly professional gentleman, highly recommend every aspect of this company and definitely worth having it built by them 🫶🏻

I was involved all the way during planning. I knew exactly what I should begetting and I did. Erection was quick, efficient and done by very pleasant guys. I later noticed that there was a scratch on one window. This was replaced as soon as a new window was available with no questions asked. I highly recommend this company and am delighted with my small garden room.

New shed installed just last week. I opted for a large shed split into two, to give me something of a storage space and separate small workshop. It looks fantastic, and the timber is far thicker than my previous shed, so I expect this will last a good while. Can't wait for the weather to warm up so I can get to it!

Wow! What a fantastic service!
So, starting with Amy, many conversations over my new garage. I wanted electric roller shutters both ends and nothing was too much trouble!
I sent in the measurements given to me by the door manufacturer and hey presto! Job done!
Their guys, Jordan & Ryan, came to my home to deliver & erect the garage, they were absolutely brilliant!
So good at what they do, very professional, extremely knowledgeable down to the last detail & friendly beyond belief!
The garage was built in no time & it was easy to see the quality of their workmanship as everything just “fitted together like a glove!”

Ordered a 22x12 foot workshop which was installed onto a concrete base in November 2021. Fast forward to November 2023 and I could see damp on the internal lining at both ends, but hoped it was nothing major. Left the country for a few months and came back in February 2024 to find pools of water in the internal lining at *both* ends of the workshop, with mould growing across the width of multiple internal support beams. The felt does not appear cracked, but it was installed with tacks between 10 and 12 inches apart, without any sealant either. Without being properly secured down, predictably over time this has resulted in the wind lifting the felt, loosening the tacks and pulling out completely, making gaps between tacks 2 feet in places. Unfortunately, they will not help with this as they say the felt is guaranteed for 1 year, but in reality it is due to bad installation.

Very pleased with the 12 x 8 shed we ordered. Construction is much better than others we looked at. The 2 lads who delivered were great, we don't have a brilliant straight forward access but they were very willing to help out. Was impressed with how quickly they were able to erect the shed, much quicker than we could have done.

Ordered my shed and had it delivered in under a week , absolutely overjoyed by the quality of the build and timber used ,the shed is built with really heavy duty T&G and the floor is constructed with 1 inch planks , would definitely recommend this company ,John from Lincoln

Had my shed delivered and erected this morning and could not be more pleased with it. Two friendly, professional and very hard working men installed the shed very quickly with no fuss and I intend buying another garden building from this company soon and highly recommend them. Thank you for an excellent job.

Great quality shed, delivered and assembled, the price was the lowest I could find for the quality that I was getting. Very friendly and helpful service from start to finish.

Sadly had to cancel a summerhouse order. No discussion about getting my deposit back. The sales operative was very non committal and said she would get back to me. Never did. Still emailing but no response.

I put a refundable deposit down on a Shed on 2nd of June with a delivery and installation date of the 13th October.

On the 13th of June I discovered that I would actually need planning permission as I live in a maisonette rather than a house, so traditional 'permitted development' doesn't apply.

I immediately contacted MSS on the 14th June to apologise for my mistake and ask for my refund, considering that the shed wasn't due to be installed until October.

They agreed, but I have yet to receive the refund over 2 weeks later. I keep getting the response 'Ben isn't in, it will be tomorrow'. Each time I am promised it will be today or tomorrow but it never is.

I am giving them one more week (in which I will be leaving this review everywhere I can), and if it still isn't refunded I will then be contacting trading standards and placing a claim in small claims court.

It shouldn't have to come to this.

Oh and for anyone not bothered about this, the actual process of designing and paying for the shed wasn't very pleasant either. I had to beg for an invoice/quote/document showing the design so I had it on paper. When they finally obliged they had the shed oriented the wrong way around, and didn't include some of the extra options I had requested (EPDM Roof, extra height).

Communication was patchy and information wasn't very forthcoming. So I already wasn't overly confident with them even before I cancelled my order.

We absolutely love our 12 x 10 Ultimate Summer House.
Had some access issues at my place but a panel out of a shared alleyway and the boys were in.
Floor in on my prepared area, back on , sides on, front on, roof panels on, job done.
The three lads were absolutely spot on, polite , courteous and super friendly.
Feed and water them while they are with you, there favourite being bacon and sausage sarnies.
Paid after the delivery. 10/10 Highly recommended.

Had our heavy duty 12 x 8 apex shed erected today. Great service from the guys, arrived on the day and time they said. Looks well built and really pleased with our purchase. Would use again.

Excellent value for the money. Great quality wood. Delivered on time by friendly staff. Ben was great at helping me decide on the best shed for my needs. Really chuffed with the finished shed. Great company. Would highly recommend as I don't think there is another shed company that can match Midland Sheds for value.

This is a genuinely independent review from a customer who had never used Midlands Shed before. I don't understand the negative reviews based on my own experiences, as everything was on time and to a very high standard for an extremely competitive price.

Very happy with my new shed. Quality is 5 star. Would recommend.

Attention all future customers please look at my Google review left on tranter garden buildings under RIP dad13. This company have taken 8500 pounds from me no contract no receipt and shocking behaviour left with multiple faults after erection of loft leaking roofs and water ingress. I have employed a market researcher to assist with helping others to be aware of this company following my experience and looking at informing international.

I searched the web high and low for a heavy duty shed and that’s what they delivered and installed, with no fuss and exactly where I wanted it. The finish is a little rough at the edges, but for the price paid I couldn’t have asked for more.

You can easily pay half as much and get a quarter of the quality, or twice as much for an inferior product (thinner boards all-round for a start) with a nicer finish. You won’t do better for the money.
