Excellent service nothing was too much trouble
Charlie and her colleagues were really helpful emails answered very quickly

They were very good knowledge and service staff were lovely

All the business was carried out online, the staff were very pleasant and help guiding me through all the stages. MOD are a very professional and efficent company and a pleasure to do business with and I will not hesitate recommending them to others.. My husband's headstone is now in situ, myself and family are delighted with the result.

they were accommodating throughout the whole process of designing's stone, communication was great and friendly.They were able to install the stone 2 months early on my late Fathers birthday. i can't recommend them enough

From our first visit through to the installation of my wife's memorial stone everything was handled very efficiently. All members of staff were helpful and courteous.We were extremely pleased with the appearance of the stone and lettering.We have already recommended your company to a gentleman we met at the cemetery!

The reason I am unable to award this company anything more than 1 star after purchasing a £3,000+ service from them is due to the awful customer experience I was subject to.

The headstone was nice.. it’s just a shame that the customer service wasn’t.

After paying over £2600.. I was invoiced £600 (I thought I only had around £400 left to pay but I never refused to pay or challenged them..) I just explained that it would be most convenient for me to settle the payment at the end of the month.

I was taken by complete shock & disgust when the team suggested that if they don’t receive the payment of £600 by the 6th of February, that they would remove the headstone & send me information of how much it will cost me to get it put back in.

The fact that they were willing to put a customer that has already paid their company so much and provided a date for that was just 22 days later through such a horrible low quality experience is why they don’t deserve our custom.

I am still sickened to this day by the lack of compassion / the condescending attitude of the staff.

I will pay them on the 6th, to avoid any further issues or disturbances but I wouldn’t wish such a low quality experience on anyone.

I’m sure there are plenty of other companies that offer quality products with a high quality service to match.

I wish I had a better experience to share.

In response to your response the only inaccuracies are in you pretending to be attacked. If expressing how appalled, disgusted or disappointed I am with your service offends you then I would suggest taking a better approach than threatening to disturb my mothers grave after already receiving over £2600 and receiving a date for settlement of the final £600.

I haven’t lied or exaggerated once. I am happy with the headstone. The only thing I am not happy with that I have clearly explained above is the terrible customer service experienced.

If there was an option to give you zero stars I would because the more you try to flip the script and paint me out to be the problem the less satifactory the service becomes.

Had you said you couldn’t wait until the 30th and urged me to pay by the 6th without the distasteful threats then I would have made the exact same arrangements that I have had to make and you would’ve got a much better review.

Very professional and easy to do business with. We’re able to accommodate by request to have memorial in place prior to my wife’s anniversary and very impressed with the service and levels of communication. Happily would recommend

We can not thank memorial of distinction enough for the beautiful headstone which has been carved for our parents. We originally ordered one for my mother but whilst in the process of deciding on design and wording my dad was quite poorly. We were very distressed at the time and were told we could delay the order until we found out about our dad . Sadly he passed away but then we were able to continue with the original order . We now have the most amazing excellent crafted headstone to remember our parents and it stands pride of place in the cemetery.

Avoid this company at all costs!
They have absolutely no compassion for your loss and they will try to charge you ludicrous amounts of money in hidden costs.

I ordered a headstone with silver writing and silver pots… you can imagine my horror when the headstone eventually turns up and it’s got silver writing and gold coloured pots! It looked awful! They did rectify it a few days later by posting the right colour pot tops… But it ruined what should have been a memorable day

I ordered a Memorial for my late Husband it is beautiful more than I had hoped for the Staff were helpful and kind at every stage because I wanted a bespoke car included designed by my granddaughter. They accommodated everything and the whole family is delighted with the tribute and quality of the headstone. Thank you.
