A vey useful financial planning tool

I first used Meet Warren in its basic (free) format when it was first launched. It provided a basic plan based on the AI conversation which was useful but needed more information and refinement.
Now, four months on, I have used the Pro version to produce a much more detailed plan of my finances over the next 30 years. I had the same initial conversation and added in additional details of any income streams starting or stopping over the time period. Warren took each event and adjusted the base plan accordingly.
I was also able to use the chat function to type in changes and produce alternative ‘what if’ scenarios to the base plan.
It also provides estimates on inheritance tax based on the input.
It was a quick and easy analysis of the information that I had on different spreadsheets and it summarised it all in an easily understandable manner.
It’s not a substitute for financial advice but a very useful tool to analyse your financial information.

A Valuable Financial Tool

Meet Warren is an amazing financial tool that has helped me come up with some ideas to present to my Financial Planner. He was also very impressed! I was able to ask Meet Warren lots of questions using my limited financial investment language and whatever I needed clarifying I just asked. It was much easier than talking to someone in person. Meet Warren came up with ideas that I didn't know existed and offer suggestions for ongoing wealth management in accordance with my future plans.

Great tool

Great tool - in-between building my own complicated spreadsheet and using a financial advisor. Can model different retirement dates and see how that impacts the plan. Recent changes to add other people but treat together really helpful. Gives me assurance I'm on track. I have used both the voice and type options to update the plan - like both options depending on what I'm trying to do.

I’m comfortable making my own financial…

I’m comfortable making my own financial decisions and plans, but I was looking for something that sits between fully DIY (using Excel or tools like ChatGPT) and paying for a financial adviser — something that could provide guidance and a second opinion. Warren is the only product I’ve found that genuinely attempts to fill that gap.
The experience feels much more like a conversation than completing a form. You’re asked about your goals, retirement plans, concerns, savings, pensions, and investments in plain English, and it works with you to build a plan that reflects your actual circumstances.
Warren quickly produces personalised forecasts and action plans. It handles more complex scenarios — such as bonuses, specific savings goals, or less typical financial situations — which gives it a level of flexibility beyond a standard templated approach.
I started using Warren in version 1, and it has evolved rapidly since then. Improvements have been consistent and clearly informed by user feedback, and notably, there has been no loss of data — no small feat in software development. I’ve also tested its outputs, using identical inputs, against advice from two financial advisers. In my experience, the quality is comparable, but Warren is significantly more accessible, available 24/7 via web or app, whereas speaking to an IFA can often be less convenient.
That said, it isn’t regulated and isn’t tied to any specific financial provider, so it’s best viewed as a coaching and planning tool rather than a substitute for regulated advice.
For transparency, I work in financial services as a Senior Director of Data and AI Solutions. I have no connection to the company behind Warren, but based on my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend it.

A really clever tool to help you plan

A really clever tool to help you plan. For me i was focused on retirement. A quick ‘call’ with AI and it had worked out my situation and built my plan. Team behind it are improving the UX all the time - its a great help if you need some guidance and a solid plan

Version 3.0 a real step up, and theres so much more they can do (and probably will do) to improve even further

Filling a gap that’s been missing in UK personal finance

MI’ve spent years looking for a tool that sits between “figure it all out yourself” and “pay for a financial adviser”.

In the UK there seems to be very little available for people who are comfortable making their own decisions but would still value guidance, structure and a second opinion along the way. Warren is the first product I’ve found that genuinely tries to solve that problem.

The experience feels much more like having a conversation than filling in forms. You can explain your goals, retirement plans, concerns, savings, pensions and investments in plain English, and the system works with you to build a plan that reflects your actual circumstances.

I particularly like the way it creates personalised forecasts and action plans. If your situation includes bonuses, specific savings goals or unusual circumstances, those can be reflected rather than forcing you into a generic template.

Another positive has been the pace of development. I’ve seen meaningful improvements introduced in a relatively short period of time, and the team appear to listen carefully to user feedback.

Importantly, Warren doesn’t present itself as regulated financial advice, and that’s an important distinction. What it does provide is a highly useful financial coaching and planning tool that helps people think more clearly about their options and organise their financial lives.

For anyone who enjoys taking an active interest in their finances but doesn’t necessarily want ongoing adviser fees, it’s well worth a look.

Good idea , needs more work before it is usable

This seems like a good idea, and actually what I was looking for having been talking to general AI tools (chat gpt etc) about my financial planning. Two problems kept me from using this service: 1) on logging in I could see no statement about data handling or privacy. I am reluctant to hand over all my financial info without at least some idea how it will be used and protected. 2) the only available first step seemed to be to "have a call" with Warren. I am not particularly keen to talk to an AI I don't know why I can't fill in a webform with my info.

If you want your adviser to be a script…

If you want your adviser to be a script with no ability to make compassionate and common sense recommadations, this is your app. I get that AI is clever enough to do this but I want someone in charge of my money to understand me. Warren isn't a financial adviser, it's an information aggregator. If you would use a decision tree to let an ai doctor prescribe the best pills for you this is your app, I prefer an accountable human.

Thanks for your AI reply. It's so obviously AI and anyone with any knowledge of how AI writes can spot it.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand your preference for human financial advisers, and that's a completely valid choice for many people.

You're right that Warren is fundamentally different from a traditional IFA - we're intentionally designed as a non-advisory financial decision support tool, not a replacement for regulated financial advice. We don't tell you what to do with your money; instead, we help you explore scenarios, understand your options, and model the long-term impact of different decisions before you make them.

Our approach is "exploration not instruction" - we're built for people who want clarity and context to make their own informed decisions, without paying for IFA advice or facing potential product conflicts. We combine AI conversation with financial modelling infrastructure to help users understand their finances better.

That said, we completely respect that many people prefer the accountability and personalized judgment of a human adviser. If that's what works best for you, a qualified IFA is absolutely the right choice. Warren is designed for those who want decision support tools rather than advice.

We appreciate you taking the time to try Meet Warren and share your perspective.

A great tool for financial planning

A great tool for financial planning. I thought the voice interface was a really nice touch too - just tell it what I want to do, and et voila!

After just a few minutes of chatting…

After just a few minutes of chatting with Warren I had a financial plan and set of clear actions I can take to get on track. Whenever something about money comes to mind I give Warren a call to run it past him and see how it might impact my plans. This experience is so much more accessible, simple and faster than human led financial planning I have used before.
