Rip off...plain and simple
Cancelled 2 days after signing up, yet charged $89.00. Sent an email and they said "Sorry to see you go... you will be fully refunded. Nothing ever refunded.
What kind of ethics does this company work with?

Oh...now I know why: NON-AMERICAN COMPANY

Medieats is a tad bit better than those cheap dieting apps that usually are the same application but reskinned and rehashed content. I pay for quality here and this is exactly what I have been getting.

I have been taken advantage of. This company indicates they have a 5 star review but far from that. They expected I was going to go another month and without notice attempted to withdraw funds from my account without asking
I do not want anything further to do with this company but they attempted to withdraw from my account again.
Fortunately I have my account locked so they cannot get funds from me but, in this time of people finding it hard to survive, it hurts to see companies using whatever tactics they can to separate you from your money
I will continue to keep my account locked and too low in funds to be useful to any further companies

So here are the results:

I started off at 205lbs and I am at 185lbs right now. That's 20 pounds fat loss. I think its incredible.

Time: 2.5 months, still going.

I love the recipes, shopping list, menu suggestions, and followups. I was hoping for more recipes over time, though. I would recommend getting this program monthly since they start repeating pretty quickly. I have to supplement this with another source of Mediterranean recipes. I have lost some weight slowly, though, and like how I feel. Just want more recipes!!!

I am happy to say that one month later after communicating with Medi Eats Customer Service, I was granted a full refund for the automatic renewal. Thank you Medi Eats!

Like Eileen and several others below, I too have been charged without my consent or knowledge!

I believe that they catch many unsuspecting people with this unfair practice of converting an initial sign up for a set period, to an Automatic Renewal!

There is nowhere on the website to Cancel an Auto Renewal this can only be done by them on their side & conveniently you are not advised beforehand!!

In my opinion this is a totally unfair practice. I am really very annoyed by this unexpected or budgeted for expense and with the South African Rand to US Dollar exchange rate it's a lot of money which I cannot afford!

I have emailed this company 5 times to cancel my subscription. Once again , they charged my credit card. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

I love the very precise daily meal plans and the quality of the menu selections. I require a vegetarian diet and my needs were met in a most delicious way. When I had a question or concern, I sent an email to "Olivia" and had a response the next day. The response was a real response, not a "We will get back to you," like other programs. The price was reasonable. I am very happy!!

It was very clear from the beginning that this is a subscription plan that could be easily cancelled. I cancelled after a year, only because I have 52 weeks of menus and recipes and I will start over at week 1.

I started with this program but the menu was numerous repeats. Having seen and tried the main items, I called to cancel. I was assured it cancelled. Then I was charged for that month. Ok, so now it's over. Then I get charged the next time. I called to complain and they did nothing. I believe they were more interested in my money than in a happy customer. What does that tell you?! I had to add a stop-payment to prevent them from doing it again. Also, too many hits from "coaches" to help me along the way. I ventured into that to see what it was about and, you can guess it, more charges. This appeared to be a money-making scheme to me. Very disappointed! I thought they would be legit but my experience proved otherwise. Buyer beware!

It’s a SCAM

Their product and policies are misrepresented and misleading - I don’t believe there is actually a doctor P Caldwell or a coach, Olivia - just an address in California that once they get your credit card information and bill, you will never give you your money back.

Listen people, Nothing in life comes easy. Disipline yourself to net research "Mediterranean Diet" foods. Make your main shopping list from it. Get moving, even if it's just walking. Maybe you can start a walking club? Don't nap during the day. Go to bed at the same time every night, and set your alarm for the morning. Don't sleep past your alarm. Again, discipline yourself with determination. Try to eat by 5pm if you can. Check youtube videos on Fasting. Before you know it you're losing weight! Yes, you did that! Don't give your hard earned dollars away to scammers.

Extremely disappointed!!! The information given prior to a payment is very misleading. After less than 24 hours I tried to get some of my $89 back with NO compromise. Wish I would have done the one week. They say 24/7 support which is definitely a false statement and a personal support person who probably the only customer service representative because she answers emails at her leisure. I just threw money away.

I am updating my original review of last week entitled Unauthorized Charge for an automatic renewal Subscription that I did not purchase. I signed up for a one-time purchase/meal plan, not an on going subscription. The Meal and Exercise Plan I received were nice but I did not authorize an automatic renewal. My initial email request to the Company for a refund was denied but after they read my review on Trust Pilot they emailed me to refund the unauthorized charge, which they did. I have received the refund.

Terrible customer service. I missed deadline to cancel by 1 day due to illness and they won’t even prorate a refund. Have reported to BBB. DO NOT COMMIT

I received a refund no problem
I thought everything in the vegan plan was super except for some recipes with incorrect macro values. On Day 2, I emailed, explained why I wanted to cancel and requested a refund. This was done the next day along with a polite apology. I was dubious after reading some of the reviews about problems with communication, cancellations and refunds but this company was great.

Would have given a 0 for review if it was offered. These people are stealing my hard earned money. I didn’t sign up for a subscription, but they charged me anyway, so I canceled and they have kept charging me. They will not refund. If anyone knows how to get our money back, I’m all ears.

I purchased a one-time Meal and Exercise Plan for $89 in July. They charged my Credit Card for a second $89 in September. I did not purchase an automatic renewal subscription, just a one-time meal plan. MediEats will not refund the second $89 charge. This is a scam, avoid at all costs. They do not have a telephone number, everything is through emails. Do not use this Company.

I would have given them zero stars if the option existed. Do NOT sign up. Even though they make it sound like it is a one time purchase, they WILL go ahead and charge you again as a subscription. Unless you scour the terms and conditions - you wouldn't know until it's too late. Tried getting money refunded for second unauthorized charge but they clearly don't care about customer service. There is no account info section to access on their website to see your renewal terms, etc. It's a complete SCAM. I repeat do NOT sign up. Product is sub-standard.

I am more or less okay with what I got, there is room for improvement tho.
