Glad I ordered!

I'll be honest: I was a little nervous ordering some furniture from McGee & Co. I'd ordered Christmas tree decor in the past and the delivery experience + product quality was great there but the items I was ordering this time around (ottoman stools) were bigger and the previous reviews of terrible experiences had me anxious! Thankful I took the plunge anyway though. My two ottoman stools came quickly and they are SUCH good quality. I love them!! Hopefully if I do order bigger pieces in the future from them, I'll have a continued positive experience.

Out of stock items

I love how easy it is to shop!!

My concern is the shipping charges are way too high!! The availability of items is another concern. I have been waiting for stuff to come back in stock for so long!!

More problems with each order I've...

More problems with each order I've placed. I have now made the decision not to order from McGee & Co again. I placed an order at the beginning of December. A month later, when some of the items had not arrived, I sent an email to the company and was told that those items were no loner available. Meanwhile, I had been charged and was not issued a refund until I demanded one.

Slow shipping and poor customer service

Everytime I have ordered from mcgee and co the communication regarding shipping has been so delayed. So delayed in fact that I would receive items months after and get shipping notifications AFTER items were delivered.

Several items delivered have also had small defects that I chose to remedy myself rather than deal with customer service and more delays. For the price of these items I would expect faster shipping and better customer service.

In fact this survey is being sent to me 6 months after my last order. My date of experience is randomly selected as my review remains the same for any and all orders from mcgee and co.

Fragile, marbles middle name

I received a marble bowl that was broken into many pieces but the customer service representative was very quick to reply. The package wasn’t marked as “fragile”and believe it or not that one simple word makes a big difference on how the package is handled by the carrier.

Great turn around time on delivery…

Great turn around time on delivery which has not been my experience with McGee & Co in the past. Items are beautiful and very well packaged. Ceramic planter and ceramic vase both delivered with no damage at all.

Great customer service

Great customer service. Shipping times seem to have improved so that is wonderful. Always a great selection. The recent catalog is so stunning It has a permanent place on my coffee table!

All around disappointing

First of all when I initially placed my order in November I was under the assumption it was then submitted to the manufacturer. However, I received a notification in February that my order was never submitted to the manufacturer when I placed my initial order in November.

Second issue I encountered was with my shipping notification. I received an email my order shipped but the link to the tracking information did not work. After reaching out to support and getting a working link I finally was able to see that it was in transit to the distributor.

Third issue I encountered was with the third party used for delivery. They only gave me two days to choose from for scheduling delivery and the first day I tried to pick would not let me schedule. I had to pick the secondary day instead which does not work for my husbands and I schedule. These were our only 2 options.

I have been extremely disappointed in the experience so far. The McGee and co brand has beautiful and unique pieces but honestly not worth the aggravation if this is how the experience is going to be any time you order.
