We purchased my engagement ring and our wedding rings from McCaul's. Their jewellery is beautifully hand-made and individualised.

Sarah patiently and skillfully answered all of our questions. Took the time to ensure the design, finish and fit were perfect before allowing the purchase to be completed.

It's nice to have found an independent jewellers who provide individual designs with a personal touch.

McCaul Goldsmiths creates gorgeous jewelry pieces achieving a perfect balance between elegance, uniqueness and simplicity. The combination of these three qualities is not easy to find. I feel incredibly lucky for finding them when I was looking for an engagement/wedding ring. Their "ALL-IN-ONE" rings are simply perfection! However this isn't the only outstanding quality they have... I was equally impressed by their customer service! I placed my order from overseas and the support, care, patience and kindness have been beyond what I could expect... I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

I live in Canada and decided to give McCaul's Goldsmiths an opportunity to make a ring for my wife to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. I was extremely happy with the whole seamless experience. I selected a ring from the Arris collection (pink sapphire with two pink diamonds). The ring itself is like a modern piece of sculptured art. The smile and look my wife gave me when she opened the jewelry box was priceless.

Had great communication and help to choose and tweak the design of a ring, many emails with photographs and a video call with great patience shown by Sarah for all my questions before I had chance to visit the shop. The ring is beautiful and the service was wonderful. I’m sure we will be repeat customers.

They were careful to understand exactly what I was looking for in my fiancé's engagement ring and were forthcoming in their timeline and pricing to make it all come together. They even worked with me to speed up the project's timeline which is incredibly appreciated. The craftsmanship of the final product was as expected and looked even better in person. I pondered the ring's design for nearly a year, and I kept coming back to McCaul's unique asymmetrical design. And I just couldn't trust anyone else to fabricate it. My fiancé loves her ring. Don't let the international purchasing and shipping process scare you away. McCaul is made up of professionals. The service from the team at McCaul Goldsmiths was fantastic. I was purchasing an engagement ring and wanted the design to reflect the simplicity and beauty of my fiancée. The team ran through all the designs and options, possible materials and diamond sizes and shapes. Such a bespoke service really personalised the ring. We’ve already been back to McCaul’s for the design of the wedding bands, where the service was again fantastic, allowing us to personalise the style and materials. We’re looking forward to getting the wedding bands made and getting to wear them forever.

My sister-in-law found McCauls online and I immediately loved their unique, modern designs. It was hard to make a decision on which to choose for my engagement ring but I'm so pleased with the one I went for. I've had so many compliments on it and it is very me! The designs are head and shoulders above any others we saw, and they were more than happy to explain where they source their materials from so we knew they were top quality. The owners and staff were always really helpful and flexible, and it was wonderful to see the workshop in action in their shop. My (now) husband and I loved being able to support a designer maker, working in the creative industries ourselves. This meant that when we came to looking at wedding bands it was a no brainer to getting both our rings from there. We ended up spending more than we had budgeted but it made sense to spend money on something we were going to wear forever rather than something silly for the wedding (which was one day) so we don't regret that! I hope that when it comes to a big anniversary we might be able to get a pair of earrings to go with my rings, but we'll have to see! I would 100% recommend McCauls to anyone looking for a modern, hand made piece of jewellery with friendly service!

McCaul have been a fabulous part of the design community in Clerkenwell producing beautiful jewellery. In the best possible way what you see is what you get, with strong design being balanced with beautiful materials and careful detailing and finishing. Very highly recommended.
