Horrible customer service, I requested an out the door price, before I arrived to have my car serviced. Once they serviced it, the price went up $80 and only then explained they can’t give out the door price. Imagine them doing this to every customer how much money that puts in their pockets.

Went in today to discuss the 4 tires that I bought in February. They have 21000 miles on them and are garbage. They are of no help. Purchased the extra coverage and the tires have a 40000 mile warranty that they dont deal with I guess. Their trick is that they say I declined an alignment (doesnt need one) 3 times. Well, I was there 3 times this year. Once for the tire purchase, once for a flat tire that needed to be replaced and the last time for an exhaust leak. Why would they put that I declined a service 3 times that was only offered once (initial visit). They say you declined it so they can use that against you to warranty a crappy product. Why would I get an alignment (again not needed) when my exhaust was leaking (whivh they couldn't fix anyway)???? Poor customer service with no option except buy 4 new tires again. Never spend a dime there again!!!

They really took care of my needs. I was not about to get my car to the shop before they closed by someone stayed and assisted me after hours. I'm so thankful for the staff

Friendly and kept me informed on what was going on

The warning light for low tire pressure came on in my vehicle and I took it to Mavis tire and the customer service was exceptional! My tire was repaired and I was on my way in no time. i highly recommend Mavis Tire, Rome, GA!

SCAM ALERT!!!
If I could give negative stars I would as in my opinion Mavis doesn't even rate 1 star.

In my opinion Mavis is running a scam in an effort to get people in for work they don't actually need.

I took my car in for a new set of tires to the Peachtree City, Ga Mavis located on Crosstown Drive, for a new set of tires, mounted and balanced. They told me they weren't able to completely balance the tires because the inside of the rim was bent. I thought this was odd because I didn't remember running over anything and hadn't had any problem with wobbling on the tires I just had replaced. Upon leaving, as I got the car up around 45 I did notice a wobble in the front, especially the front driver side. It got much, much worse as I got up to highways speeds, and at one point on a trip to Rome, GA, roughly 2.5 hrs away the wobbling was so bad I was worried my CV joints may be damaged by the wobbling.

I stopped at another Mavis in Rome (AT 711 Martha Berry Blvd NE) to see if maybe a weight had fallen off or maybe the balance machine had a problem at the first Mavis.

After they re-balanced the wheels, the technician told me they did the best they could but that the wheel was bent on the inside of the rim and they were able to get it a little better but couldn't fix it completely.

After another very wobbly ride home, I took it to the place I normally got my maintenance done and had them re-balance the tires. I told them what was going on and they let me come out to the shop while they re-balanced the wheels and showed me that there was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG (which I have on video and pictures of the machine readings as well) with the wheels, the tires or anything and it took them all of just a few minutes per tire to balance and now my car rides as smooth as butter. Furthermore, he balanced them using all the normal methods and tools and with me standing in the garage watching as he explained everything, so as to ensure no funny business wa taking place or extra work was required to balance the wheels.

The fact that both Mavis stores, 2.5 HRS AWAY FROM ONE ANOTHER, USED THE SAME LIE to describe a condition that literally did not exist prior to bringing it in, and which they induced, is indicative that it is not just bad management of a certain store, but indicative of a CORPORATE-WIDE SCAM TO FOOL PEOPLE INTO THINKING THEY NEED MORE WORK DONE. There is no way possible this could be coincidence, and according to the technician that fixed the issue at the place I usually take it, it was impossible to truthfully, or even mistakenly assert that the wheel was bent.

The barrage of excuses I got from the Mgr on duty and the attempts to weasel out of at the very least refunding the cost of balancing was impressive while also being completely ridiculous. The lies ranged from "the wheels were dirty and we couldn't put the right weights on" - (proven false by the tech that rebalanced the wheels at my trusted shop), to "the technician in Rome must've told you the wheels were bent bcz of the notes we put on the invoice" - (implying that he didn't actually take the wheels off to inspect/rebalance them, but instead just read the note, took my car in and let it sit in the garage for a bit to give the impression they did something - except that he did inspect and rebalance them and "lessened the wobble" but again said "you have bent wheels so we cold only lessen it a little bit"), and on an on.

In the end, he refused to refund anything so I will be taking this up with corporate.

Needless to say, I will never go to any Mavis store again and I will be posting a similar review on every Mavis review site I can find.

Store opened as it said, took my car right in and I was on my way home within an hour. Good Job!

This was the Rome, NY location. Was not able to get system to reflect this. Staff is terrific, work completed timely

Just noticed they chiped my wheel well under one side on tire install. Very rude people blaming my car when they couldn't get the alignment done correct the first day . Multiple rim burn on one if my rims from tire install . 886 dollars later and this is what a customer gets ???!!!!! I have pictures and videos of rims before and after that day .
The had my wheel at 230 o'clock when they test drove it and said it was OK. It was not then told me well WE ARE CLOSING SO WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE , NOT MY PROBLEM CUSTOMER US ALWAYS RIGHT .
SUCH A JOKE ILL BE POSTING ALL MY VIDEOS AND PICTURES FOR EVERYONE TO SEE IN THE SURRPUNDING ROME AREA
MAVIS DISCOUNT WAS A AMATURE EXPERIENCE. I even have all my paperwork proving I was there and they worked on my car and did a crap , dog crap job .

I was happy with my visit to Mavis Discount tire because the visit was short and efficient. The young man at the front on the cash register was kind, helpful and friendly. I will go back when I need their service. THANKS!

The service was excellent. Thanks to Jennifer for her professionalism. She kept us informed and had our car ready when she said it would be. I have been a Mavis fan for three years and three cars. I trust them for all of our car needs. Jennifer is fantastic!
