Check your lug nuts if you get tires…

Check your lug nuts if you get tires installed/rotated here. Driver side rear - 2 lug nuts were loose, 2 were overtightened. Had to soak in penetrating oil, then breaker bar and impact to remove…….passenger side rear. 2 over tightened. One was so tight my breaker bar exploded. This was after soaking in penetrating fluid. My 1/2 milwaukee impact wouldnt get it off. Soaked in more fluid, used a bigger breaker bar, then finally the impact again and it came off. If i had a flat somewhere ida been screwed. These places need to stop getting in a hurry and zapping the nuts on with those stupid impacts and just torque the nuts down properly with a torque wrench.

Not happy at all

I would have given them a zero.I went in today October 28 2025 around 12pm to get my tires check for low air and the young lady, the manager went out and checked my tires and said that I need new tires.She said that my tires with dry rodding, and the two in the front was worth than one on the back . I checked with someone else.It's nothing wrong with my tires. They just put the air in. This is the second time I have been there.And they said something was wrong with my tire, and it was nothing wrong with the tires. Something needs to be done about this today. She is lying to the customers.My tires is only 2years old.

Do NOT allow them to service your vehicle

I came in 2 weeks ago for balancing on all 4 tires & a rotation. Within a few days I noticed my vehicle still had a terrible shake. My husband took my vehicle to another shop where it was determined only 1 out 4 tires were balanced correctly. The rest were DOUBLE weighted and I spent $107 on this service with Mavis. I called today and Rashawna answered the phone & immediately starting questions why i didnt bring it back to them with the nastiest attidude. I asked her to calm down & allow me the opportunity to explain and she hangs up in my face. I did not yell at her nor use profanity. When i attempted to call back she picked up & hung up again. I called back a 3rd time & she answered and I asked if she hung up in my face & she said I sure did & imma let the manager talk to you bc Im not! I asked for the manager to begin with! She is very very incompetent and disrespectful! The manager Leann was friendly but for Rashawna to speak to a customer like that in front of her tells me all I need to know. Proceed with caution when allowing this company to service your vehicle. Incompetence all around. Leann called & often me 2 free oil changes instead of a refund but why would I want them changing my oil when they couldnt even balance a tire. 0/10!

I was so disappointed to realize that…

I was so disappointed to realize that the most trusted high rated tire shop had truly let me down last night. 04/04/2024. First I call to ask to see what time they would be closing for the evening I was told by the young lady that was on duty that they close at 8:00 to find out later on it's 8:30 is the correct time of closure that was one situation I feel like if I cannot call and get the correct information then it makes me wonder what's truly going on with the reputation of this company to have people on board that would deliberately not be truthful to the consumer is very disturbing to me I told the lady thank you and I will be on my way up on arrival before I could even get out of my car the young lady came to the door to not greet me but to let me know that they are about to close this was at 7:45 and that they could not help me explain to her that I was traveling 25 minutes away and that was the purpose of my call was to ask what time they would be closing so that I could get my tire looked at to see whether or not they will be able to patch it or if I will have to purchase a new tire I am already very disappointed because I just purchased these tires and unfortunately one out of the four was defected I asked the young lady why she couldn't help me she stated that they were about to close and they only had one tech who was taking care of it everyone I asked her who was the guy that was walking around on the store phone she told me that that was not her text I asked her could I get a phone number for the general manager of the store because I truly felt that if you're saying that you close at 8:00 then I was there prior to closing then you should be able to assist me with my issue unfortunately she told me that the only number I could call was a direct line to their tire shop I asked her could I get the direct number or at least a name for the general manager or store manager because I wanted to clear up why they are turning away customers she gave me a card never said thank you never apologize for the inconvenience none of it I truly felt unappreciated as a value customer of your highly rated company as I was sitting in the parking lot I stroll through my phone to see if I could get a number to the corporate office up on my research I discovered that they do not close until 8:30 I was overwhelmed with disappointed because not only had I not been tell the truth when I called about the time of closure and then to get there almost an hour before they close to be told that they could not help me a gentleman by the name of James if I am correct he is the store manager who I asked the young lady who was that walking around on the store phone she never acknowledged that her store manager was there the only thing was on her mind was to push out and turn out as many customers and she could so that she could get out at the time that she wanted I looked at the door and the hours of operations clearly said that they close at 8:30 when I called another location they informed me that they close at 8:30 and the manager who was at the location stated that he overheard the conversation and he wanted to ask me what happened I wanted to detail as to what had happened and as well as the question I asked concerning about who he was he apologize for my inconvenience and he immediately asked me if I had time to wait so that they could get my vehicle in the bay to check to see what was wrong with it I parked my car where the store manager asked me to I got out of my vehicle and I went on the inside the same young lady who advised me at 7:45 that they were about to close at 8:00 but that was not true she would not even wait on me that was so unfair I truly truly could not believe that she would not wait on me I never disrespected the young lady I never said anything I don't mind I just clearly asked her why would you tell me that you are about to close and turn down me as a customer it could have been anyone why would you turn around a customer that is how you maintain your business is based on taking care of your customers unfortunately they were not able to patch my tire because the child was defected and it was the fact that by the inside middle of the tire and they were not able to legally plug that for my safety the gentleman pulled up the information for me to purchase a tire and as I explained to him why would I purchase a tire from a company that does not care about the consumer why would I do that so with that being said I really really hope that this is not how you treat your customers even though you have a positive rating I do know that people that work always have people to put out good reviews for their stores etc I've seen it so many times but the true true way that the consumers are being treated there's a lot of times hidden and nobody truly knows all I want is someone to call me and to let me know why as a consumer would I be told one thing and truly it was another to be not told the truth to be treated like that

Tire Bubble....My vehicle was shaking so badly I could…

My vehicle was shaking so badly I could hardly drive it, especially since I was heading all the way home to Texas. I went to Mavis, they found the source of the problem. They didn't have the tire size I needed but assisted in finding one. They were professional and courteous, and extremely helpful! Thanks again guys....best place to go if you want honest help. MAVIS TIRES, CLINTON MISSISSIPPI …

A friend and I were passing through Mississippi (coming from Texas) and headed to Georgia. Our rental car showed “low tire”.

We found MAVIS TIRE in Clinton, Mississippi. From the moment I walked in the door until our car was ready to roll, professionals took care of our situation.

The professionals, both QUINN & JAY, were extremely helpful. I call them professionals in the industry because both of them represent the business well. They have expert knowledge AND dress extremely well. Rarely have I come across men like QUINN & JAY who take “personal pride” in their job. If I had a business, I would select good people like Quinn & Jay to represent my company.

The tire professional (SAUL) did an exceptional job checking tires. SAUL has good customer skills!

It’s hard to find such professional guys in this industry. God blessed us by leading us to this location. I hope an executive manager reads this and rewards these hard working professional men who go beyond every day situations and treat customers as though they were family. Thank you MAVIS in Clinton Mississippi for making us feel safe. We appreciate you!

I would not recommend

I took my 2014 Buick in 2020, 2022, and now again 2022 for brake issues. The 2st 2 I paid for brake work. This year they state my rotors done July are out of warranty. That I’ve driven 18000 this in 6 months / there is no way. Their paperwork states 110000 miles the last 3 times I’ve been there. There is no way I should have to have brake work done every year. They charged for some work in 2021 that should have been under warranty from 2020 - but the store manager states he can’t speak to that. Yes / the people are nice, friendly, and courteous while they take your money / but shysters usually are
