The Chicken Tikka bundle with red food colouring is out of this world. Also their recipe for doing mint raita. Both taste like they are from an Indian restaurant.

Wish we had discovered Matt Cooper Bites sooner!
Matt Cooper Bites has made such a difference to our evening meals. The range of products mean we never get bored of curry night. The quality are unmatched and the recipes are so easy to follow. With a little bit of preparation, the effort is worth the result, every time. I've never had chicken tikka that tasted so good, and certainly not at home! The kits produce delicious restaurant quality (or better, depending on where you go!) food every time. Customer service is excellent too! We would not be without a constant supply of MCB in our kitchen :)

So far I've used the Dopiaza and the Butter chicken kits, and they were both very good.
I also have the Garlic Chilli kit, and I'm looking forward to trying that pretty soon.

Thanks Mark, really pleased to hear they’ve become a family favourite. Most supermarket jars are full of stabilisers, naturally with the product type so the curry kits are deffo a better alternative! Take care

Quite literally the BEST fakeaway…
Quite literally the BEST fakeaway chicken tikka I’ve ever had. Actually no that’s a lie… it’s better than fakeaway. I topped up on 4 packs because we now prefer it to our local Indian!! We cook in a shallow dish as the juices that come off them are to die for! I bought my family bundles for Christmas and they all tell me the same.

Thanks Jack, that’s an amazing compliment. Love hearing that it’s beaten the local Indian and that your family have enjoyed it too - although don't tell them that! Really appreciate you spreading the word.

Thanks Dean, really appreciate that. Solid choice with the Dopiaza too - it is my favourite too.
Wow!
Wow! The first time I've used a mix/recipe claiming to be just as good as eating out and it actually was! I'd go as far as to say it was better. We had garlic chilli chicken with tikka, and sheek kebab on the side and it was perfect. Followed the instructions to the letter and it couldn't have turned out better. Will definatly be ordering again soon. Also the perks of getting multiple uses from each mix.
Thankyou

Thanks Tom, really glad it lived up to the claim. Garlic chilli chicken with tikka and seekh kebab sounds like a cracking combo. Appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback.
Amazing curry kits
These curry kits are amazing, they’re quick and easy to make but still give off the luxury effect of a proper Indian takeaway. There perfect for family gatherings where you don’t want to be cooking all day, a night in with friends or even after a busy day at work. Would 100 % recommend to anyone !

Thanks Niamh, really appreciate that. Glad they’ve worked well for family get-togethers and busy days without losing that takeaway feel. That's exactly what I wanted to achieve when creating these kits so i am so glad you are enjoying them :)
Quick and easy great tasting currys for busy people
I tried these spice packages because some friends at work recommended them to me.
So i ordered the tikka mix to try. Im no cook by the way.
The order came promtly which was good. So i folllowed the instuctions on the back of the sachet which i noticed later that i could have followed the QR code for the video aswell.
Cooking was easy and straight forward . I did think i was going to be disapointed but i was was shocked how good it was . I live and eat in Curry central and this was as good as any restaurant id been to.
Ive since made several orders like the mega bundle..great value.
Ive even taken some.to work.for the lads to try.
Welldone Matt Cooper bites!!

Thanks Neil, really appreciate you giving them a try. Great to hear the tikka surprised you and that you’ve gone back for more since, mate. Cheers for sharing them at work too. The problem is now that people at work will be expecting it every week! Thanks for leaving such a detailed review too. Take care!
Overhyped...expected what it…
Overhyped...expected what it advertised, but instead, after carefully measuring and following instructions, just got a watery pan of soup that took a lot of cornflour to thicken up to a curry consistency. It was nothing special at all and not worth the money. Disappointing.

When something comes out too thin, it’s usually down to part of the process rather than the mix itself, and that’s exactly why we always encourage customers to get in touch if something doesn’t seem right. You can contact us directly (including via WhatsApp) and you’re speaking to me, so we can work through what happened and get it right.
The kits are designed to be convenient and accessible, but there are a few variables in cooking that can affect the final result, and we’re always happy to help troubleshoot and make sure customers get the best out of them. Sometimes it can be as simple as leaving the curry to simmer longer (especially if its on induction) so the sauce reduces and thickens.
I’m sorry it wasn’t what you expected, but I do appreciate you giving them a try and sharing your feedback.
AMAZING
AMAZING! We have been ordering these curry Kits for the last year and we love them, we have recommended them to friends and family who have also become repeat customers. 5 stars from us ⭐️

Amazing curry kits and spice blends
Amazing curry kits and spice blends. The chicken tikka is just like you would have from your local take away and better. The curry kits are easy to follow, quick taking out the hassle of making sure you have all the spices and measuring. Great customer service, Will definitely be ordering more.

Not the real deal!
I think giving a 1 is slightly harsh- it wasn't that bad- but no more than a 2 i'm afraid- sorry guys - these are not to the standard of your everyday curry houses- especially as you're from brum or within the region of - i dread to think what experiences you've had when thinking or suggesting that these are as good as the genuine authentic indian curries. I make my own and have done for years- but thought this was worth a try after the hype i was seeing- and sorry to say- i think i'll stick to my own recipe. The gravy that comes with all authentic dishes is the key- which i make- this is nowhere near the real thing- but anyone who wishes to try - don't let me put you off- you can decide yourselves.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a detailed and fair review, Carl, I do appreciate it. I’m actually from West Brom myself, so I know exactly the standard of curry houses around here and what people compare them to.
The kits are designed to be restaurant-style rather than a full scratch BIR cook, and being a dry mix there’s always going to be some limitation compared to fresh base gravies and making everything from the ground up like you do. That said, I still believe they give a similar flavour profile, while being far more convenient, affordable and accessible for people who don’t want the full prep every time.
Totally respect that they’re not for everyone, but thanks again for giving them a try and sharing your honest thoughts.

I’m not sure who does all the reviews on fb about these curries but they are not like getting food from a curry house. I’ve tried a couple different ones now and the whole lot went in the bin. I wouldn’t recommend and I won’t be purchasing again.
Ps, I wrote this on a post on the fb page but it appears to have disappeared!

Hi Tracey, firstly, may I take this opportunity to apologise for not replying to this review in a timely manner. I've not long realised a page has been set up by Trustpilot, so we weren't aware of this review.
I am really sorry that you did not enjoy the products. I do believe they are great products and feedback like this isn't very common so we do take it very seriously. We always ask customers to get in touch with us via our channels, including WhatsApp where you speak directly with me to help understand what's gone wrong with the dish and how best to put it right moving forward. With the kits, there are other factors outside of the product that can cause the final dish to be too bitty, salty, spicy for example. We will always do our best to make sure the customer is happy with their experience.
We never delete any comments from our Facebook posts, unless the posts include sensitive customer data. We believe keeping all reviews up gives customers the transparency they deserve so they are making an informed decision if they decide to purchase. Taking a look back, we had replied to a few of your Facebook comments but we unfortunately never received replies to our knowledge.
I am really sorry that your experience wasn't what was expected. Have a great weekend.
