We have used Flowcode versions 3 to 6 over the years and support was always very good. After a gap in use and having to use flowcode 6 again to support some changes in the field it was found that the Eblacks programmer ver 3 is no longer supported (or nothing could be found) so drivers were not available, ver ppp v3 and their web site just refers to the later Eblocks 2. Our original logins no longer work and despite rergistering for the main web site access could not be gained to the earlier versions of flowcode to try and see if anyone could help with the issues we are having. I can fully understand why a company needs to keep developing a product from a financial perspective but dropping support for earlier products and no route for accessing drivers and documentation is less than ideal. Great pity that the company has evolved this way.

We recently started using Matrix products for our Microcontroller course and I must say that the products are easy to learn and use and the support team were very helpful and timely.

Misunderstanding of needs is a pain, ideal for digital. And small current work not power or analogue small runs.

Fantastic company to deal with, even through the pandemic their company representative Alistair was always available and helpful. The equipment provided by them whether it be electrical or mechanical is ideal for our needs as a college teaching engineering and it’s principles. Can’t fault the company, I personally will always use Matrix equipment as it is ideal for students to learn from and with.

We have used Matrix equipment for several years at Lakes College, ranging from locktronics to dsPIC systems used with a range of courses / age groups.
The kits stand up to day-to-day use and when I have needed support (or spares) I have received accurate timely responses.
The kits include workbooks but don’t be afraid to take advantage of the versatility and make up your own extension activities.
Would recommend the equipment to anyone looking for hands on activities in the classroom to support electrical / electronic engineering.

Matrix kits are excellent for the classroom and for the teaching environment. The modular box style ensures smooth experiments with each student having the same components which gives ease of use, especially the Loktronics system.
In modern classrooms, space is at a premium so the standard box structure becomes very efficient to store.
Each product has been designed with classroom use and rough treatment in mind and our kits have survived well even with constant use by multiple groups.
For Electrical and Electronic and Electric motor subjects I fully recommend the Matrix products.
