Received as a present. A lot of nut and praline in the box. Not keen on the 3 that look like brains. The peanut one was also very odd looking. So enjoyed about 4 out of 14. A shame

I have absolutely no idea where the negatives have come from. This company's chocolates are up there with the best.
The cruel negative comments are either commercial sabotage or malicious and expecting financial gain.
I trust this company to produce amazing chocolates.

Not sure where all the negative reviews have come from, because these are probably the best chocolates out there - the 'fabulously fruity' ones are particularly divine! I can only imagine that the negative reviews are perhaps written by people with less educated tastes, who have a preference for the cheaper dog chocolate produced these days by the big corporate brands

Gorgeous chocolates except for the banana cream which is disgusting.

WHITE out of date chocolates, dark chocolate got on flavour, looked liked they've been frozen, very little chocolate filled with cheap fondant & synthetic flavouring, Worst chocolates ever tasted, they won't let you return & refuse refund which is against trading standards!!!!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

Delicious luxury chocolates.
Lots of fantastic flavours and themes. Have always arrived promptly in the post in perfect condition

I received this as a gift and it was very tasty! The 3 different types in the selection box were all good, my favourite was the salted caramel!

Placed an order in 2021. Received a newsletter subscription email in 2025 saying "If you didn't subscribe to this list or you're not sure why you received this email, you can delete it. You will not be subscribed if you don't click on the link above." I did not click on the link. I was still added to their mailing list. Received no response when I emailed to question this.

Cheap chocolate , flavourless fillings

Very disappointed with the Martin's chocolates, with sell by date of 5/2025 which appears to be at the end of their shelf life. Chocolate are not fresh and taste old and hard. Very disappointed with the product and will not buy again.

Every time I've ordered from Martin's their service has been great. Dispatch has usually been the same/following day and delivery has always been very quick (I know this probably depends on the time of year/where you are located though). The chocolates are unique and interesting flavours, I really enjoyed the chocolate planets in particular. When I've bought chocolates from them for others they always go down well as gifts. It's great that they use traceable and sustainable cocoa as well as that's important to me when buying from companies.

Just terrible, tasted of soap ☹️

My husband bought me a large expensive box of Marc du champagne truffles.
They were awful, & like no champagne truffles I’ve ever had before.
There was hardly any ‘truffle’ & a thick dark chocolate disc in the centre.
To say I was disappointed is an understatement.
I wish my husband had seen the reviews before he ordered them.

Cannot comment on delivery and service as this was a gift for Christmas, but those chocolates are truly awful ! Tasteless, loaded with sugar and fats, the usual mid range supermarket ones taste better.

Disappointing-bland tasteless chocolate

Had these chocolates bought for xmas, ate one chocolate and pulled a piece of plastic out of my mouth, I was planning on buying some dessert collection, after reading the reviews and nearly swallowing plastic I shall not be bothering.

My wife bought me the Liqueurs advent calendar and the quality was excellent. Great selection of liqueurs and I really taste the alcohol. Will buy again next year.

These chocolates were a gift for my birthday, bought with the best of intentions. But... The look and taste of them is cheap. The taste you might get from a cheap box of chocs from a discount shop. Really disappointed. Nothing higher end about these I'm afraid.

I purchased their chocolates from Amazon . My disabled wife found 2 pieces of PLASTIC in her mouth after eating one . I complained and they said “ I presume you had eaten most of the chocolates before you found the plastic “. There was in fact 11 unconsumed chocolates! It doesn’t matter how many were eaten there concern should be the 2 pieces of PLASTIC !

I have purchased these chocolates a couple of time last year and they really are amazing quality and taste compared to similar of the shelf more common brands,
I recently purchased some via Amazon (again) however this time they were damaged during delivery, I contacted Martins direct and they sorted and replied immediately and after sending a pic of the delivered chocs they sent out a replacement all done within the week, even though not their fault. Excellent product and customer service, cannot fault and will buy again with confidence.
The presentation and taste of these are excellent and make the perfect gift
