Beware, do not buy from this company. After 6 weeks without receiving anything and no response to my emails, I got a message saying that she was 6 weeks behind on orders. I said I was happy to wait another 6 weeks but still after this time, nothing. After emailing again over 3 months after my order and not receiving anything. I took it up with PayPal who returned my money.
She still emailed offers and updates even though she never sent anything. She must rely on people giving up. Since then I’ve googled Carmens company and mainly found that deliveries never get sent. It’s a big scam, I can’t believe the authorities haven’t done anything about this yet.

Very disappointed with this company, to say the least. I've ordered a few times over the years, items were always very late, which did lead to a lot of disappointment and I really should have learned my lesson and definitely checked others reviews. Foolishly I ordered again on the 6th November and never received my goods. After contacting the company several times, I received a text stating my goods had been shipped, only to open the link and see that it stated that my goods were only 'ready' to be shipped and the page was never updated as it stated it would be. Obviously a lie as I later received an email apologising that my order couldn't be made. The company advised that I should go through the PayPal resolution centre in order to organise a refund. I had actually already done this and then the company had the cheek to escalate the dispute to a claim rather than just refund the money! Finally after 16 days of opening the dispute I finally received my refund, purely because PayPal were unable to obtain any further information from the company. Not sure what this company is trying to pull, but hopefully the word will spread and others won't lose their money or be disappointed when their order simply doesn't arrive.

I wish I had checked reviews first... absolutely disgusting service, should not be allowed to trade. Ordered a wide range for Christmas presents only to be advised order was cancelled on the 21st....Email advising to open dispute in PayPal and will be immediately refunded - well 9 days on - no refund...

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. Failed to deliver order 4+ times to friends and family. Carmen (the owner) makes excuses but for years has been known to let people down. If the product arrives it is weeks if not months late. Refunds take months. Can't help but wonder how much this woman makes in months of interest on orders she never delivers.

We warned, Carmen promises products she doesn't deliver and refunds that don't arrive when she says.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Like others below I ordered from them as a Christmas present - placed order in middle of November to give them plenty of time...chased order in december - told order was in process, week later received 'order despatched' email, 3 days after that received order cancelled email! Had to take out claim through Paypal to get refund and MD didn't even have decency to respond to Paypal! So basically I provided MD with an interest free loan for six weeks! An absolutely appalling way to treat customers, will never use them again and I hope no one else does either!

Totally disappointing. Pre-ordered for Christmas as a special gift for our vegan guests. So excited to receive these lovely looking treats and couldn't wait for them to arrive. Then I received an email on 21 December saying that they couldn't fulfill my order and that I should open a case against them on Paypal to get a refund. No explanations, just they wouldn't be sending the marshmallows. How ridiculous, first of all I had no gift for my friends, secondly I am still waiting for my refund, 9 days on. How can this be okay? it looks from the other reviews that they do this a lot. Be warned, you will likely be disappointed and cheated by this company.

If I could give minus stars I would. I have never encountered such poor service with the company not responding to emails or simple questions.

I've been waiting for over a month for a refund on an order that was cancelled as it didn't arrive in time. I am going to be contacting Trading Standards and also the Small Business Ombudsman in order to report this company as they are effectively stealing by happily taking orders that then they don't fulfil or don't refund. It's fraudulent!

They do not respond to emails at all no matter how many you send or which email address you use. I'm not surprised that so many people have had issues with this 'company' as they are absolutely disgraceful. It doesn't matter how good their product is, if any of them actually get delivered, they should be avoided at all costs!

Its companies like this that give small businesses a bad name. Do not buy from them, if you are after vegetarian/vegan marshmallows there are other reputable companies out there. Do not under any circumstances buy from Marshmallow Deli!

Ordered Marshmallows at the beginning of October and after waiting nearly a month I e mailed twice a week apart to ask where my order was as it said 10 days delivery on the website. I didn’t get a reply to either e mail so opened a Paypal case and got a refund.

Avoid this seller.
3 months since order... nothing. No response to several emails (other than an automated response) and no other way of contacting the business on the website. Ignored 2 polite requests for money back. I'm on the phone waiting to speak to my credit card provider to try to get payment back... Looks like I'm not the only customer who's needed to do this.
Such a shame. My last order (placed a couple of years ago) arrived promptly and the marshmallows are amazing.

Like others no product received (ordered on the 29th August) and 2 emails that have been sent also ignored. What makes it worse is having looked on the website, Carmen has added more products! So she has time to make new products, take pictures and upload them to the website but doesn't have the time to actually make the orders people have paid for! I'm now going to have to contact my bank to request a chargeback as I ordered £20 worth of goods! Will also be looking at reporting the business as it's simply unacceptable to be trading like this. I genuinely wouldn't mind if I had received communication from Carmen to apologize and explain there is a delay but to take people's money and then ignore them? The business is a joke!

Shame there isn’t a ‘no star’ rating. Like others here I’ve been waiting 2 months for my order. PayPal should have a clause for no payment until the goods are received. I will never order from here again.

CAN NOT BE TRUSTED! absolutely terrible! ordered back in august, this is now october and im still waiting for my order or full refund!!! have tried emailing three times, with no response. will NEVER order again. now ive had to open a dispute via paypal, to try claim back my money!

I’ve ordered from this company for a few years and recommended them to other vegetarian and vegan friends, the product is that good. Never had a problem with delivery before, usually received my order with a couple of weeks. However, not this time. I emailed 3 times before getting a reply offering a refund because of a backlog due to the heat (my sister in law has a chocolate company but wasn’t hindered by the hot summer...). I replied I’d rather have the items but received no response or the items (ordered approx 10 weeks ago). Not impressed and I’d sadly not order again. I’m now resigned to not getting my items, or a refund.

Sadly I now have to agree with previous reviews..I supported Carmen over bad reviews etc in the past but now I am one of them..ordered two lots weeks ago still waiting.had rssponses about the heat weather holding up orders but that was WEEKS ago..Why iniciate. MORE orders by p/p free etc when the outstanding ones have not been fulfilled..and older orders should be dealt with first..I have placed several orders in the past as I LOVE the marshmallows being a veggie but will think twice before ordering again..Sadly I think the business has outgrown their competance to fulfill orders placed.
Come on Marshmallow Deli...fulfill our orders..refunds all very well but its the goods we want!

EDIT: A refund was eventually given but I am still disappointed with the service.

Terrible customer service! Ordered first week in June and still nothing has arrived. All my emails have been ignored, including the ones sent directly through the sites contact page.
Am in the process of charge back through my credit card for goods not received.
Avoid this company.

Order placed 29/07/18, nothing received by 05/09/18. I have emailed the seller twice, got a response to my second email saying the order should be sent out within a week... still nothing 2 weeks later, not even a response to a third email. Either a scam or just a terrible business. Don’t do it. I can instead recommend The Marshmallowist- top product, received within 2 days. Perhaps you could take notes?!

I've ordered from Marshmallow Deli once before and these were the best Veggie marshmallows I've ever eaten, so I was REALLY looking forward to having them again when I placed this order at the end of June... sadly, after months of chasing (sometimes with no response, sometimes with brief and uncaring message and a 'thanks for your patience' - always conveniently ignoring my remarks about requesting a refund), Carmen has now stopped replying altogether so as I don't expect to receive this order EVER, I have contacted my bank to claim my money back directly. If this business isn't a total scam, then the next most plausible explanation is that it's just incompetence, in which case this person shouldn't be trading. Really disappointed and just sorry I didn't see the other reviews on trust pilot before ordering.

These vegan/vegetarian marshmallows are seriously good, the best I have ever had, however, order at your own peril! I ordered some on the 2nd July for my daughters birthday on the 31st July and had still not received anything by the 29th July despite emailing 3 times enquiring when they would be delivered. It was only when I tried to cancel the order and get my money back through Paypal that she responded with an extremely rude email saying that she couldn't possible make the marshmallows in the heat we've been having and that I wouldn't want my marshmellows delivered all melted and horrible. I replied saying I still wanted a refund as I had bought my daughter some from another company and did not get a response. The marshmallows turned up on the 3rd August and as I say they were fab. What a shame this lady doesn't respond to customers and is so rude. Sadly I won't be ordering from her again.

I cannot work out if this woman is a fraud or simply incompetent. Just like all the other reviews, I placed an order six weeks ago and have not received anything except vague excuses. Don't waste your time or money. I have since found a vegetarian marshmallow kit which works perfectly!

I ordered from this company in December and I still have not received my order !! I have ordered from them a couple of times in the past without a problem. I have emailed Carmen many times , she did reply once saying she would send out a replacement order but that never arrived. I've emailed many times since and never get a reply!!! Have given up now !
