Bury store! Been downgraded, hardly any stock! Staff not great, their knowledge of stock is very limited. I also see many members of staff smoke in the fire exit doors, does not look good. Does not even carry Autograph!!

Delivery not received. I ordered 23/11/23 and its now 14/12/23 and I still haven't received my delivery. M&S international tell me that they can't track my order and I have to contact the delivery company myself.
This is just not good enough. Why do M&S work with such a delivery company if they can't track customer's parcels?
Absolutely no customer service!

Food not good quality and staff rude

I recently spent a fair amount of money on a sofa bed which proved a huge let down.I put a review of the item on M&S web site which they refused to publish twice becouse did not meet their T&C,which in this case, was I criticised their knowledge and mentioned the country of origin of the goods. These people instead of making sure customers are happy, are paid to look at imbeciles issues instead.
Never mind the quality of what they sell. Used to be customer was always right, now instead they challenge you. M&S should go back to the origins,close it all and open a market stall to start all over again. Rude attitude,no warehouses anymore,cheap stuff made outside the UK using cheap labour, possibly exploiting under age people. Utterly disgusting.

Where is my item?
Shame nobody from M&S notified me that the item was damaged, just said item was not to be delivered on my chosen day and would be notified when item was available to be collected. I waited one week and received no notification so I rang customer services to find out that item had been damaged and a replacement had not been send to store. I was then asked if I wanted a refund or a replacement be sent to store. I requested a replacement which I was able to collect.

Well never envisaged the day I would write anything negative about our dear old M&S.. Been shopping with them since adam was a lad. Bought tihick woolley jumper £35. First day of wear,went into a neighbouring store,tried on jacket, when taking the jacket off, unbelievably the sleevve of my newly purchased jjumper, came with it..!! the whole sleeve had totally come adrift from the shoulder seam. Looking at label , made in China!! Well, theres a surprise, if it had been from primark, primary crap store, would have not been surprised at all. If M&S think cutting corners by getting their products made in the far east will mean bigger profit margins, well it may, but if their products turn out sh**te..then they will end up NO profits. what happened to quality?? NOt good M&S

We quietly buy hundreds of items from Marks Bexhill annually and to date have never had anything but excellent customer service from their staff. Recent returns were easy, staff attitude to LGBTQ+ customers commendable and quality of food and clothing we find is improving. Recommended.

Clothing is good but customer service and staff are lacking. Very poor and would only shop online.

Very happy with many purchases at Marks and Spencer. We order now for many years, our last purchase was in October 2023. The prices are good as well as the quality. Thank you.

I feel M&S is going downhill, their food has always been exceptional, but i have found over recent months things have started to go downhill, especially the bakery. A loaf of freshly made bread surely should last more than 2 days before it goes stale. Their muffins are undercooked in the middle. The prices are increasing it seems like on a daily basis, but quantity and the quality doesn’t reflect the cost. Come on Marks get your act together.

The delivery men were extremely professional even when I was worried that my new sofa wouldn't fit through the door they talked me down...

I'm so grateful there are a lot of delivery men who could learn from them both and WincantonHD who delivered on behalf of M&S; namely IKEA their delivery men are rude and throw your stuff around while complaining it's heavy!!!

Would definitely use your service again in a heartbeat

They were great I didn't get their names but they were fab!!

M&S are going to send the same order again because in the bag was a Cardigan not documented , which I told them about and requested they collect

Well stocked foodhall and friendly staff in the till.

Visited Ayr foodhall on Sunday 5th wasn’t happy pretty poor being disabled asked staff if they had a wheelchair available for customer use yes we have it’s in the toilet upstairs could we have it please ,ten mins later out it comes fair play if that’s were it’s kept that fine although most stores keep them at the entrance done the shopping arrived home decided to have the pizzas as it was late they were the worst pizzas I’ve had from any supermarket no flavour topping wasn’t what you would expect their obviously made for ms on the cheap so waste of £12 their to be honest we used to shop ms weekly then as prices went up we changed but decided to give it another go yesterday but after the experience I’d be reluctant to revisit i did contact ms but online help is pretty poor and the robot is a waste of time first online agent started chat and hung up without chatting second one gave me an email address to send pics of goods and receipt which were in the bin covered in bolognaise sauce so managed to retrieve one so won’t hold out much hope on getting any replies .but not the M&S that I was used to in the past .had we lived closer I might have been tempted to post them back through the letter box with a note but we are 50 mile from the store.have sent bank receipt and pics to email address providedUPDATE customer service reply can’t help you with receipt and pictures of the barcodes so bare that in mind next time you shop at MnS

We had a terrible experience at Mayflower Basildon M and S on Saturday 4 November at 12:50. My wife and I regularly shop here but on Saturday 4 November we were subject to discriminatory treatment by staff. We used the self check out tills and had a number of errors scanning items which required help rectifying. We made sure to scan every item and paid for eveything. Upon leaving the store we were called back in and told that we 'had not paid' for all the items which we had. 
We were then taken to a normal till and they went through every single item in store in front of all the customers which was very embarassing and humiliating. Once they had done their 'checks' we were then told by them there were no issues and every item had indeed been paid for. We both felt discriminated against and are people of colour. We told the staff that they need to check their self check out tills as they often malfunction, their reply was 'our tills work perfectly' and they were having alot of problems with shoplifting.
We both earn a good wage and have no need to shoplift. 
This is highly discriminatory and felt like a stop and search action. We will never set foot in this store again. I am also going to post a negative review on Trustpilot as the paying public need to know about this discriminatory incident.

Disgaceful service over 3 months .Despite emails, a personal letter to Mr Powel ( manager of Croydon) and submitting a complaint to Customer Service main office . Have heard nothing
