Reliable and Accurate Geocoding API
I've been using Map Maker for address normalization and geocoding, and the service has been extremely useful for our workflow.
We process location data from many different sources around the world, and the input is often incomplete or inconsistent. Map Maker does a great job of identifying cities, regions, and countries even when the address information is only partially available. The API is fast, reliable, and easy to integrate.
What impressed us most is the quality of the matching results and the ability to handle real-world address data that is often messy or missing important components. This has significantly improved the accuracy of our location database.
Overall, Map Maker has become an important part of our data processing pipeline. Highly recommended for anyone working with geocoding, address normalization, or location data at scale.

Great platform, easy to set up and use. We implemented it in a PowerShell script, and it works without an issue.

Great - provides exactly what I need
Exactly what I was after. I use the API in an app I created to update geocoded photos with location data.
Easy to register, obtain the API key, and use.
The free plan works well for smaller batches.
I have future plans that may be better suited to a paid plan which is ok as the pricing is far better than other services.

Thank you Will. Geocoding with Google et. al. is so expensive that it was the motivating factor for setting up the geocoding API service. Very happy that you find it useful.
Simple API
Simple API, very straightforward to get started. I had the data I wanted within a minute of coming across this service. I've used it for two personal projects since, no complaints at all.

Easy to use API and detailed results
Used geocode.maps.co in a small geocoding project. It worked perfectly. The API is very simple to use, output contains all the necessary information.
The free limit of 1 request per second and a 5000 a day required splitting the work for a few days, but the results were worth it.

Such a wonderful service and for FREE
Such a wonderful service and for FREE! As a developer, I always want to test and retest my code thousands of time before its in production, and while i deploy updates, i follow the same process, providing free geocoding has been such a cost saver for me as a diy iot developer, I am really greatful to the people who developed this and maintain it for the public

I find that testing code really well before deployment catches a lot of embarrassing bugs. More developers need to better adhere to this practice, so kudos to you.
