Frankie was great at Kia
Frankie was great at Kia, very helpful in answering my questions. Although the car didn't come with parcel shelf and mats (not a big deal for me) everything else was great. I hope to use them for my service in the future too, highly recommend great experience.
Kia sportage buying experience.
We saw a pre-registered kia sportage on the Internet that met our required specification. Although we live near Norwich we decided to go and view it. The service we received by the sales dept was way beyond what we expected. We test drove the car and all the functions were clearly explained to us. We decided to purchase the car. Everyone was so friendly attentive and helpful without being pushy. We went and collected it a week later and the handover experience was excellent and everything about the car was explained again and everyone made sure it was a pleasurable experience. I have bought quite a few cars and never received such attention to make sure we were happy. In fact although the dealership is approx 1.5 hours drive we decided to take out a service contract as we feel so confident in this dealership. We even got a phone call when we got home to check that we had a safe journey and had no questions to ask. Would recommend 100%
Mantles KIA Royston...
Purchased a 6 month old KIA and although the initial sale was good, the way I was treated after signing was disappointing.
When signing the paperwork, i'd said I was purchasing a spacsaver elsewhere and I wanted Mantles to supply the retaining screw which was noted on the paperwork.
I was initially given the wrong one! And after getting nowhere with the salesperson, i was passed to the sales manager who said "we were just going to see if we can supply one, it's not a deal breaker"
See if you can? You're a KIA main dealer, of course you can!
I spent nearly £40k and you want to argue about a £10 screw? you need to get your priorities right!
After collection and once I got the vehicle home, I noticed the valet wasn't great as there was a mark on the passenger seat. This wasn't initially noticed as the Diamondbrite bag had been placed on it. I also then realised they had taken the parcel shelf out and I had to wait a week for the sales guy to drop one off!
I took the car back to be valeted again which I can't fault. Valet staff were excellent and removed the mark.
I was also given the spacesaver retainer, but this was by the valet team as sales seemed to not want to know.
On a final note, I cannot believe KIA do not supply a car document holder, that must save KIA at least 50p!
I'm also surprised Mantles didn't supply one. For the price of the vehicle it just shows they're money, not customer orientation.
Overall, a disappointing experience.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. Bought a Jaguar F pace from this dealership, Come with the black Friday 12 months warranty and breakdown cover. After 13 weeks of having the car the the engine blew up and mantles breakdown recovered the car, 3 weeks later Mantles have ignored pretty much all of calls and not returned any after telling me everyday I will receive a call back. I am still lefty without a car!! Mantles warranty have been and assessed the car and said it is a write off as the repairs will cost betweeen 17-20K. Mantles have now said they want the car returned to them to asses it too. The warranty and breakdown cover are as much use as the paper they are printed on. Warranty with a limit of £1500 for repairs is a joke!! So they have refused to do anything, The warranty also claims you can hire a car for 7 days with a daily limit of £35 in the event of a breakdown or repair being needed.. This is impossible to get, I would avoid this garage at all costs. I am now raising these issues with the motor ombudsman and the finance company who would like a full diagnostic report, The warranty company have refused to give me this to send over to them. I have been left not knowing hat is happening or where I stand 100% AVOID They will only speak to you when you are buying a car from them. Don't expect anything else once the deal is done.

I brought my Kia for £20,000 DON'T
I brought my Kia for £20,000 and with in Less then 2 years my car broke down the head gasket had gone and the turbo was not working either. After over 6 months of trying to get the work done under warranty [through other kia dealships] Mantles did the work and got the car repaired. when i was told it was ready they then charged me £750 for a new battery and other bits that were not covered under the warranty, but for a car that i had for less 2 years and had sat there for over 6 months i was upset to be charged anything special as i had to use my own money [£5000] to rent a replacement car because i was told i can't have a courtesy car.
I got my car back and with in a few weeks my exhaust system failed. So the car went back up 2 Mantles and they did a hard reset and brought the car back to me and 2 days later the same thing happened they then did a second hard reset and brought it back. The manager said to me to save money have the Catalytic converter cleaned by someone for few hundred pound. I asked why can't it be done under the warranty as it is obviously link to the other issues, his reply was we can try but he doubts it would be done. so once again using my own money i had the exhaust system fixed.
10 months later my turbo goes again, my warranty has now finished so when i called Mantles to get it fixed under the parts guarantee, they tell me its not covered as i didn't pay for the part as it was originally done under the warranty.
i mean are they having a laugh with in 10 months the parts brakes again and they refuse to do anything. This just shows the poor work that Mantles have do.
They don't care about you once the money is spent. I spent £20000 plus nearly £10000 on other repairs and retails.
Mantles manager even said to me theses things can happen then tried to sell me another car he also said to make sure all work and services are done through them, WELL THATS A JOKE. They only want your money.....
£30,000 for a car, which in total over the years i had it ive only been able to drive for 2 years tops. OH i forgot to say the car only has 60,000 on the clock.
WHAT A JOKE.
Save your money don't buy from Kia or Mantles their 7 year warranty means NOTHING at all. They will always try and find a way out of helping you.
Great experience
Just purchased a Kia through Mantles and cannot fault the service I received from Tom. I found him to be friendly, efficient, courteous and knowledgable. He was very responsive, always replying to my emails without delay. They also gave me a good price for my trade in vehicle. I picked up my car yesterday and even that process was slick and didn’t take as long as it could have. I found that all the staff were friendly and helpful and it really shows that they care about the customer experience. So all in all, thus far, I cannot fault them.
Used to be great
I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years having all my family Kia vehicles either bought or serviced. During this time I had received very good service from the small friendly team. I feel that recently they have grown too big and become very impersonal, treating everyone with bland customer service and a feeling that although I can’t put my finger on, feels distinctly ‘passive aggressive’
They have replaced a genuinely friendly team with lots of corporate-type faces.
This is what happens when companies grow too big and too fast.
I won’t be buying a used car from them as they are probably about £1500 above the national average whilst offering up to £500 less in trade in value. I simply can’t afford to take that hit when trading up.
They are interested now in selling expensive new, or used high end vehicles. In my opinion they no longer value their loyal customers.
My family and friends will take their business elsewhere.
