Fender continues to out perform other flat wounds I've tried. My Spector Euro4 LX, Ibanez SRT 800DX & Cort C4 deluxe all have fenders on them. My Cort A5SC has Ernie Balls which perform well but I would use fenders if they did 5 string sets.

Beautiful tone & sustain with next to no fret noise sliding up or down. I have them on all my 4 string basses now. Had to go with Balls on my 5 string as Fender not available.
Good strings
Great product
Great strings, Fender quality.
A great seller &product!
The strings are brilliant and Manny’s price and delivery speed were great.
Achieved the tone I was looking for.
I was looking for a alternate string choice for my Epiphone Zenith bass. Whilst there was plenty of lower freq response, there was always an accompanying unwanted high end sizzle that was difficult to roll back without making everything sound dull. I selected the Fender branded flatwounds as a possible solution and was very happy with the resultant tonal transformation. There was sufficient (but only just) overall string length to allow for full scale fitting on a fairly thick string-through body. Love the silky feel of the flatwounds. Not all shops have flatwounds bass strings on hand, but Manny's provided the quality Fenders at a good price which gave me the confidence to purchase. Thanks
good price . good strings
Can't speak on the quality or value as they are the first set of flatwounds for me. But so far, I really dig the sound of them - nice deep, fat tones on these flatwounds. Pricey but perfect for fonk, reggae and OG hip-hop bass. If you want rasp - grab the roundwounds instead.
