Worst garage I’ve ever seen and…

Worst garage I’ve ever seen and unfortunately used!!!
Trading standards would sort them out!!!

Brought a car, first month good then nothing but problems with the car, I had the AA come out to which they said the head gasket had gone, also got another separate garage (just to look) for a second opinion, who said the head gasket gone. They collected the car eventually also never answered the phone, when they said the work had been done they said the head gasket’s not gone it was the water flange so they replaced it, I got less then 10 miles down the road car broke down, they came and collected the car gave me a car to use, which when I drove away in this one it set on fire to which when they answered the phone they said it would be fine to drive on fire. Absolute clowns.
They eventually done the head gasket drove home on, but had a noise which they said was nothing, after a week I wasn’t happy so just took it to a garage to have a look and the mechanic laughed be he couldn’t believe that the engine was missing so many nuts and bolts!!!
Majestic are trying to say it’s my fault for not bringing it back quicker, they also use there friends garage in the same units where there garage is….
We are trying to get our money back as I write this….
I would highly recommend never to use them or allow them to use the garage they use.

If I could give minus stars I would !! Absolute cowboys!!! DO NOT BUY CARS FROM HERE!!! Selling unsafe and faulty cars. The “ mechanic” they use left bolts unscrewed. Only had the car a few months and the head gasket went! They changed everything except the head gasket to save themselves money. So back the car goes as obviously the problem wasn’t fixed did the head gasket finally after not being with a car for weeks !! ( don’t get me started on the communication to pick up the car or drop it off) a week or so later the car is rattling the “ mechanic” had not put bolts in properly. Now to and throwing to give the car back and get a refund. Which obviously they don’t answer phone or when they do say they will call back and never do. So guess we will go down there and stand there until they do!!

ABSOLUTE COWBOYS !!

Also pretty sure they 5 stars are them writing them their selves

I had already left a lengthy review on this company but in addition I have just seen that the car we purchased for £2750 in November 2025…. Which spent five weeks in their mechanics being ‘fixed’ (head gasket, new engine, fuel pipe..who knows) is now back up for sale with them for £4000 after they gave us a full refund due to not being able to fix the car!! Jokers.

To give a bit of background, My partner put down a deposit of £1000 on a car that was portrayed to him as completely working and passed its MOT most recently with no issues whatsoever. This lead to him putting down a £1000 deposit on a car that is in 100% working condition.

We then were told the car would be delivered in the next 'day or two' and this was on Monday the 17th the cash was put down. We then contacted each day since then being told the car would be delivered, got to 3/4pm and heard nothing and told it would be the next day over and over again, which is completely unfair and caused alot of stress on both of us, due to the cash being in your hands.

When the car was meant to be delivered Thursday the 20th, we were told they had left at 1:15, told again at 2:30it had only just left and it ended up arriving just before 4pm. When taking a look at the car all seemed fine, till we took it for a drive, on arrival back to the house the car was smoking and burning and we were told by the two men it was 'WD 40' which should not be on a engine anyway.

Luckily our mechanic who is licensed and has his own company came to look at this before we committed to any money as none of this was mentioned on the website link nor to my partner himself. We found that there was oil leaking out of the engine which if you look at the last two MOTs this was a issue and it clearly was botched to fix and sell. Our mechanic said this is not the car you have sold to him and he should not buy it as a car should not smoke within driving it for under 10 minuets.

I had a phone call with two colleges around getting the deposit back to be hung up on multiple times and told 'we don't have bank accounts'. Which is clearly a lie as there is bank details on the contact you gave us.

Looking at the contract they were in breach, you falsely tried to sell a car to it with problems that were not mentioned to us and were hidden and the team tried to lie in order for my partner to buy the car which essentially is fraud.

AVOID MAJESTIC JOURNEYS AT ALL COSTS!

This company has breached trading standards and misled me about the warranty and servicing of the vehicle. The car I purchased broke down within a month, and nearly a month later, there is still no resolution.

Despite repeated attempts, they have not responded to my emails and refuse to provide a contact number for their so called complaints department. When I raised my concerns and mentioned my consumer rights, they hung up on me.

They falsely claimed the warranty would cover “everything,” even going as far as saying they had previously repaired an entire engine under it — highly doubtful, considering the cover is only worth £500.

This is just scraping the surface.

If anyone from this foul company is reading this I suggest you respond to me with a resolution before I get law enforcement involved.

This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and unethical. I strongly urge anyone considering buying a car from Majestic Journeys Ltd to look elsewhere.

If i could give negative stars i would!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I hope my experiences help other people make the right decision and DO NOT TOUCH THIS PLACE WITH A BARGEPOLE!! I wish I had read reviews before buying a car from here.

We bought a car from here at the beginning of August, we were having issues with our car and had a small budget so made a purchase in haste which we regretted.

When we drove the car away it all seemed ok, it wasn’t until we drove on the motorway a few days later that the danger of the car was discovered. The transmission was slipping. We returned the car for this to be completed under the “warranty”, the warranty that although being the premium didn’t actually cover a huge amount! Apparently the car was fixed and we took it away again. I asked if the V5 documentation had been changed over for the new vehicle and my part exchange as they said that they would do this on the Monday, I was assured this had been done. I didn’t really understand why this was done online at the time.

After their works the issue remained so I took the car to my garage who I trust implicitly. They said that the issue could be one of a number of things and that it would be a process of elimination, this would exceed my warranty value. Their advice, return the car under the Consumer Rights Act and get my money back. The dealership offered to fix the car at their cost, but at this point I don’t trust them or the cars reliability. My garage had also discovered a loose metal bracket which spanned the battery terminals and could have been dangerous. I contacted my finance company and started the refusal.

Apparently our old car had been sold so we were due a refund for the value of the exchange and the funding to be returned in full to the finance company. We were told that this would be returned in 3-5 working days. I said I was uncomfortable returning the car without the funds in my bank account but was issued a refund request as backup and was assured that the money would be returned. In the meantime I called the DVLA to enquire about cancelling the road tax only to find that the V5 had not in fact been transferred and the car had never been registered in my name. It also transpired that my part exchange had never been transferred into the business, which we discovered when a £100 parking fine from Feltham in September landed on our doormat (coincidentally not far from their other garage in Slough).

When day 5 of returning the car arrived and no money had credited my bank account my husband visited the dealership, only to be fobbed off and told that someone else was dealing with it and they were not there. The ONLY way to communicate is to visit, they have loads of mobile phones (not at all dodgy!) but never answer them. I went back the following day insisting I was not leaving until this was resolved and asked them to call the man who was dealing with it yet no one seemed to have his number. Strangely though, the little man we both spoke to did have the number the previous day when my husband was there, he must have accidentally deleted it overnight. They paid the parking fine and asked to have until 4pm the next day to make the transfer. I mentioned referral to the police for obtaining goods by deceit and progress was finally made. When I called the DVLA the V5, which the dealership had mysteriously misplaced along with my old car, has magically been changed and was no longer in my name!

My husband visited again just before the deadline of payment to ensure it happened and we finally have our money back. This has been the worst car purchasing experience ever and I hope no one else is as naïve and have to deal with this company. I have reported to trading standards and hope that one day this business and any other versions of it are closed down for good.

If you read other reviews you may notice a bit of a trend when it comes to the name of the review writers and I would question just how genuine some of the good reviews are. Just beware!

I visited majestic journeys today and came back more than pleased.I had my MOT done here for the first time and it went perfectly.The staff was very helpful and patient.On top of that,the workplace was comfortable and hospitable making the experience even better.This will definitely be my go to place from now on!

Sold us a “death trap” — now ignoring us

We bought a car from this dealership that was delivered dirty, late, with flat tyres and clear safety issues — but we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Four months later, the car failed its MOT catastrophically and was declared a death trap by a qualified garage. We were told it had recently passed MOT and was in good condition — it clearly wasn’t.

When we contacted them for help, they refused to take responsibility, claimed it was “wear and tear,” and said we were outside their 30-day window. The truth is: this car never should’ve been sold in the first place. The corrosion alone would’ve taken years to develop. Now we’re out over £2,000, they’ve stopped responding, and we’ve had to scrap the car for safety reasons.

Lucky for us we paid by credit card and have filed a Section 75 Claim, and reported them to Trading Standards. If for some reason you decide to use this company, PAY BY CREDIT CARD. It’s your only shot at “justice”.

We are completely perplexed by this experience. It’s a real shame.

Completely unprofessional, dismissive, and dangerous. Avoid them at all costs.

Take a second to look through the reviews. You’ll notice most of the reviews over 2 stars are from “people” with names that are the same to their employees. Given the outrageous amount of negative experiences, this is no coincidence. I’d expect them to scrap this business and make a new one in a few short months, to evade these reviews and customers, and I’m sure they’ve done this before.

DO NOT USE

January 2025 put a disposit down on a Volvo and arranged for it to be delivered to my home address, I was told it was going to the workshop to be prepared for delivery and for the brake pads and discs to be changed and cleaned before it was going to be delivered a week later. When it arrived the inside of the car was dirty with golf tees and take-away straw wrappers all over, the boot had about 2 cm of green slimey water in with rusty pieces of metal in it, the brake disks were rusty and marked, the front light had condensation in it even after a night time drive to Stroud (at least 2 hour drive). I spoke to the delivery drivers and said that this was not good enough and to take it back they tried to get me to take it and offered me £100 off the price. The next day I had to phone the office to talk to someone about this (would have thought they would contact me about this) and was told they would look into it and get back to me, promised me they would do the right thing and that he was shocked by what I had said about the state of the car, this is now over a week and no reply, I have tried to contact them by phone but no answer and mailbox full, but text but no reply and by email and again nothing. I have asked for my deposit to be returned but still no reply or response. The next step will be through an auto trader, and if there is no response, it will go to legal advice. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
April update i have spoken to auto Trader and got legal advice i have now sent 2 emails from this advice ands still no answer

I brought of a car from this company in…

I brought of a car from this company in December 24, on the condition that it needed a service, MOT, new tyres and some other fixtures. After I picked up the car externally it all looked fine, however i had it for only 3 days and it had an electrical fault, I had to take this to my local garage to get fix. Soon after I had low tyre pressure, which is odd as I thought I had four brand new tyres. I took the car to get air filled in the tyres and the dust caps were corroded. So, again, I took it back to my local garage where my mechanic wanted to do some further inspections as I only purchased the car recently from them. It came to light that the tyres were in fact not brand new and had several tears in them which were not noticeable to the eye and advised they had been there for a while and not user error in the short space I had the vehicle. I reached out to the office and requested to speak to the manager as I had to pay for four new tyres and four new dust caps as it was so dangerous to drive and are not cheap! I was promised a call back, we are now a month down the line and no call back, no response to many emails I have sent either. I never received the service book when collecting the car and they told me they would ‘send’ it to me so the car was blatantly not serviced. They are con men who say they will fix everything to the car for a sale and not follow through. They are honestly selling broken cars and touching up little defects which later down the line will cause you further issues. At this point I have spent more money on all the defects the car has had then what I brought this for. Do not purchase from this company. This many issues after purchasing a second hand car should not happen and we should not be liable to pay, especially things that were agreed when purchasing the vehicle!!

absolutely horrific . please be careful !

absolutely horrific please do not buy from this place. i do not want anyone to make the mistake my poor mother made, they took full advantage of her ! the car broke down outside the house 2 days after purchase , to the point the mobile mechanic advised it’s unsafe to drive , yet we was still asked to drive it back and get a refund . however was expected to get a taxi home and wait up to 10 days for the refund ! ow and also this was after then saying they would fix it or would pay in the invoice if we got it fixed …. so we paid to get it fixed … sent the invoice .. £280 and they said … sorry that isn’t covered . when i asked what is covered , they said well it doesn’t actually state what is and isn’t covered . just that you have a 3 month warranty … so basically it’s a worthless defence from them! ow i was also told they didn’t notice the fact the coolant was leaking as they don’t check under the bonnet … however they did do a service and topped the oil up ….. strange that. another lie. Unluckily for them we can afford to take this further mainly to stop this happening to anyone else , so they will be hearing from our solicitor in due course but i wanted to warn as many people as possible.

DO NOT GET SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO THESE CON ARTISTS!

Being polite they think they can fob us off , every time they say “we are deeply sorry and will call too straight back” never call back … only ever text. especially when i told him at the start of each call , these calls are now being recorded.

Pretty sure they won’t be part of the AA soon either.

i’m sure they will set up under a new business name soon enough though.

We also have to replace the motor for the heating as that broken and the speaker as that’s not working- it’s a 2017 car so i get that if they would have informed us . it would show transparency! but no , and we haven’t even mentioned that because I know it’s not covered so no point in moaning. But it’s just something else . so instead of them just paying us the invoice of £280 i’m now taking them to court for loss of earning , stress , my mum has MS so her health took a bad hit after due to stress, the list goes on and they will be paying us back the court cost when we win so they are very stupid people , this could have been solved with £280. I gave them a chance to resolve some sort of dignity for their business but they choose the hard route so now i shall tell the world via every channel i can . And I have a lot ;)

They sold me a car with faulty engine and have refused to refund my money. They sales person Ali went ahead to block my number and still have not gotten my money back. PAY ME BACK MY MONEY ALI!!!!! It's basically a FRAUD at this point! This was since October 2024! I would NEVER recommend to anyone!
