The maiden short-sleeve mid-on shirt is my favourite shirt to play sports in because of all-round how good it makes me feel when wearing it.

This light and airy fabric makes me feel weightless on the pitch, instead of bringing me down like the ones my cricket club provides for me do.

The airy fabric and sweat management material doesn’t only help me on the cricket pitch but in my other sports too!

If I’m poolside, at the running track, or on the netball court, I’ll always make sure to have an extra mid-on T-shirt packed in my bag.

We ordered a bespoke kit for our newly formed women and girls team in Kent. Maidens were passionate about getting the fit, sizing and design right for us. We faced a few challenges on the journey and these were handled well with good communication and solutions. Great shorts, everything thought of! Love the undershort aspect, stops chafe and leaks while not stopping the outer short look stylish

I tried the new batting pads and was very impressed with how much easier they were to run in compared to the pads I currently use. Not only were they lighter, the profile around my legs was less bulky. This doesn't seem to be at the expense of protection or quality either. Excellent kit!

As a professional cricketer for Durham County and Manchester Supergiants I love using the all white gloves and navy batting pads - super comfortable, light, sleek and help me perform at my best.

When we started our ladies cricket team, we played in generic polo shirts. They were baggy, bunched up in all the wrong areas and just looked meh! Then Maiden started popping up on my feed everywhere, so I got in contact and they put some ideas together on designs. They added our sponsor and we placed an order. When the shirts arrived, everyone loved them. It was amazing to play in a kit designed for us, for women for a change. Not in something that was an afterthought, something we had to make do with, but something that was ours, that we were comfortable in. All the kit is extremely comfortable and well designed. It appears to last a long time and washes very well, especially whites that can often stain. The shipping was relatively quick and efficient. The only negative is that originally sizing charts were a little bit vague (accidentally leading to me buying an age 8-10 jumper rather than size 8-10), however this was a few years ago now and those hitches seem to have been ironed out
