Absolutely unforgettable and once in a lifetime trip! First class treatment the entire trip!! Every step of the way we were taken care of, it allowed us to be completely worry and hassle free, and just enjoy making incredible memories.

Caroline worked SO hard for us... she put together a flawless and perfect honeymoon that made all our dreams of visiting Africa a reality. The stress level we would have dealt with if we had not had her, especially trying to travel during Covid, is unfathomable, and we never would have been able to make a trip this amazing happen on our own! Her recommendations for us were spot on. We are so thankful we had such an amazing travel expert to put together our trip!

When we first started working with Mahlatini, Monique was our travel agent. She was so incredible to work with. She truly listened to our vision and helped put together the absolute Honeymoon of our dreams, all while making sure we got the best bang for our buck. Unfortunately midway she took a different job opportunity and Steve took over. He seamlessly jumped in and was so incredibly helpful. Despite living around the world he was prompt at answering all of my emails and was always available to us. Planning a trip during Covid is stressful in itself but Steve made sure we were always up to date on the travel requirements and made It as easy as possible for us. When we arrived in Africa we were so impressed at the level of detail that was put in. No stone was unturned. Every transfer, lodging experience and flight was effortless for us. Not to mention there were Honeymoon extras thrown in at every stop along the way which made It that much more special. We cannot recommend Mahlatini enough and will definitely be working with them again in the future.

Our trip coordinator Caroline was fantastic from our first phone call almost 20 months ago until today. I knew every part of the trip was planned with care. Every transfer went off smoothly. This was a once in a lifetime kind of trip that we are going to have to somehow repeat! The team at Mahlatini really worked hard for us throughout the planning process, exceeded our trip expectations, and worked diligently when we actually had to push our Honeymoon out a full year because of COVID (at the very last second). We were blown away with their availability leading up to and during our trip. Zanzibar was beautiful but Kenya stole a piece of our hearts.

I cannot say enough about our experience with Mahlatini! We were lucky to have worked closely with Natasha for the last year and a half. I appreciate all the attention she was able to offer us, as she was very responsive on both email and calls. She took ALL of our requests and really came through. We had booked just before the pandemic hit. And rather than stress the whole process of rebooking, Natasha made it as smooth as possible. Giving us plenty of new hotel/ lodge options, as well as monitoring the best flights to take. There are tons of options when booking a trip like this, and we really appreciated the honest feedback before choosing our final destinations.

After postponing our wedding and honeymoon, this trip was exactly what we needed to whine down after all the planning. From walking directly out of our room onto the beach in Mauritius, to seeing the Big Five in South Africa, it was truly one of the greatest experiences of our lives. We cannot thank Natasha enough for making it happen. We know exactly who we are calling when the time comes for our next trip over!

Overall, our trip was amazing. It was the trip of a lifetime and my wife Haleigh and I both had the time of our lives.

Is it possible to give Caroline 6 stars? :-) She did an incredible job of helping us plan the honeymoon of our dreams in Kenya and we couldn't have been happier with her and Mahlatini. From deciding on destinations to navigating travel during covid, she made everything a breeze. She was so patient and understanding when my passport was delayed and was super responsive when we had questions during our trip. From the minute we arrived in Kenya, everything was so easy. I am the type of traveler who is used to planning everything myself but having Caroline's help allowed us to relax and really enjoy our trip without stressing over the details. She even worked with the properties to arrange special extras like a private dinner for our honeymoon. We've never worked with a better travel company and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to travel in Africa! Can't wait to plan our next trip with Caroline.

This was truly the trip of a lifetime. We couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon. From the moment we were in touch with Caroline, we knew she had our best interests in mind and would be able to piece together an unforgettable trip. We traveled to two different countries, and stayed at five different hotels, so a great deal of detail and attention went into the planning of this trip, and it was executed perfectly!

Caroline went above and beyond to make sure that our honeymoon was the trip of a lifetime. Planning a trip with this many details is no easy task, and add covid restrictions & flight cancellations/changes - she handled it all and made sure that we were taken care of. We started working with Caroline in November for our September honeymoon, and she was so attentive and available whenever we had questions or wanted to make changes. We cannot say enough great things about Caroline! We were so lucky to have been able to meet her in person during our time in Cape Town for some sunset drinks at a rooftop bar by the waterfront too! What a special treat that was to meet the person that planned us the most unforgettable trip! Next time we go to Africa, she will be the first person we contact to start planning!

We started planning our honeymoon trip to the Masai Mara + Seychelles about a year in advance. Our travel expert, Caroline, was a dream to work with. We had several last minute requests and changes, and of course covid restrictions were an added complication, but Caroline was a total pro and gave us the trip of a lifetime. Anyone deciding between companies, Mahlatini was amazing and you'll have the most incredible time wherever your trip takes you.

Mahlatini travel organized our amazing honeymoon in Masai Mara and then to the Seychelles. We had the best time and the hotels and camps were just amazing and just right for honeymooners. The Masai Mara trip was magical beyond our imagination. The Seychelles hotel was located at the most amazing beach. The travel agency made our trip so smooth and easy, we didn’t have to worry about transportation or anything! Steve, our agent, had booked the trip from A to Z. I honestly wouldn’t have known how to or done any of the small details if it wasn’t for them. Our flight from Kenya to Seychelles got cancelled and the agency took care of rebooking new flights and transportation and informed us right away with the new booking details. Mahlatini was so organized and sent us all necessary documents before our trip and made sure we have all the documents needed from our side so we don’t face any problems during the travel, especially in the corona times. The transportation cars were nice and clean. They have exceeded our expectations! We will definitely be booking again in the future with Mahlatini Travels and also recommending them to all of our family and friends. Thank you very much Mahlatini travel agency and Steve, you were incredible! You made our honeymoon very memorable!

Caroline Groeneveldt was absolutely incredible! As we started to do the initial planning, she was incredibly helpful, took time to understand our needs and got to know us so well -- we felt in good hands right from the start. She was patient with us as it took us some time to figure out which countries and exactly what sort of accommodations we were looking to book for our honeymoon. There are so many options out there and Caroline helped us understand the pros/cons of each one! We are so incredibly thankful for Caroline -- she made sure everything was absolutely perfect and guided us every step of the day and helped us make all the right decisions. I have never worked with a more helpful, knowledgeable, and better agent! Once we were on the trip, every part of it was executed to perfection - testament to Caroline’s planning and job well done! It is 100% true what they say, Africa changes your life. It is such a beautiful and diverse continent and we have only seen the tip of the iceberg! We returned home with so many unforgettable memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. It is now our mission to send as many loved ones as we can to Africa so they can experience the vast amount of beauty and culture that the continent has to offer.

Where do we even begin with Caroline, she has been incredible! From the very start, she made sure our trip was perfectly tailored to our needs and also as romantic as possible given it was our honeymoon. She gave us several options in Kenya and the Seychelles so we could decide what worked best for us and ended up creating the perfect itinerary. She also navigated the everchanging Covid restrictions so well and made sure we were prepared with tests/vaccination cards/health declarations prior to our arrival so we wouldn't run into any issues. She made us feel like we were her only clients given the great level of detail she provided us and periodically checked in with us throughout our trip to ensure everything was going according to plan and we were happy with our stay. Claire was the most responsive, kind and knowledgeable travel agent I have ever worked with. Due to COVID, we postponed our honeymoon twice and she made it happen smoothly with no complaints. When we finally got to go, we had the most amazing honeymoon anyone could ever ask for. Traveling half way across the world from the US to Dubai and the Maldives during a pandemic, we were slightly nervous but Claire eased all of our concerns. She informed us of every COVID regulation and restriction so we were fully prepared for anything. Claire thought of every detail throughout the entire 2 week vacation. The Palace Downtown Dubai and Constance Halaveli in the Maldives were the epitome of 5 star luxury. Emirates was by far, the best airline I‘ve ever flown. We have already recommended Claire to everyone we know and all of our friends and family are dying to visit Dubai and the Maldives. Thank you so much for an experience we’ll never forget! You made a dream come true!

I highly recommend Mahlatini. After finding them on a google search, they helped me architect the best honeymoon trip to the Maldives. Stuart is definitely the best travel expect I have even been in contact with. He was always available by email/phone and gives sincere advice 100% of the time. Stuart and I have been in contact for over two years now. It would’ve been about one year, but we have been in touch for longer due to the pandemic and two rescheduling. When we reached the Maldives, we had people waiting for us and calling us by name. From the transfer by boat to Ozen, to our trip by sea plane to Hurawalhi, we felt special and knew someone had spent a lot of time on the behind the scenes planning. Everything was super well explained, we received vouchers, and detailed itinerary, surpassing our expectations. I could not recommend Mahlatini and Stuart any higher.
