We had an absolutely superb experience with MAH Inspections Ltd and couldn't be more satisfied with their Snagging Inspection service. Initially, we approached them for guidance on the developer's pre-completion process, and Cheryl, their wonderfully knowledgeable Business Administrator, provided a crystal-clear explanation of the differences between Pre-Completion and Snagging Inspections. Her professionalism and patience immediately gave us confidence, and we decided to proceed with their Snagging Inspection service.
On the day of inspection, Mark arrived promptly—well ahead of time—and conducted himself with the utmost professionalism. Before beginning, he walked us through each step of the process with clarity and care. It was evident that he possessed a wealth of experience and a meticulous eye for detail. His methodical approach was impressive, and he seamlessly inspected our two-storey property over the course of the morning.
To our amazement, the detailed report landed in our inbox that very afternoon. It was brilliantly presented—clear, concise, and easy to understand even for non-experts. Each issue was supported with annotated photographs and explanatory notes, complete with red arrows to highlight exact problem areas. The report was not only incredibly useful but also a breeze to interpret. We immediately forwarded it to the developer’s Site Manager without hesitation for further processing.

Lets start at the beginning... I contacted MAH inspections regarding an inspection and to get a quote at 7pm on a Saturday evening by Sunday morning I was booked in. In the correspondence I was told everything that Mark would be inspecting.

Snagging Day - Mark turned up 15 minutes early at 8am and by 8:30am he was well under way. Mark continued working up until 15:45pm and didn't stop for lunch (although he would have been done sooner if I didn't distract him with a few conversations). Before leaving Mark talked me though some of the major snags, showing me picture and in some cases what the actual problems are.

I then received the snagging report the same day!

Mark informed me that I can contact him with any further questions or queries (especially when the developer challenges snags) after the the fact.

Mark was fantastic and very thorough. His due diligence was top notch. Mark and his team where amazing and made the experience of snagging smooth.

I highly recommend this company, and if you do end up contracting Mark to do snagging then make sure you keep him supplied with Coffee.

Their communication is thorough, transparent, frequent, fast and clear to understand. They are more than patient to answer any questions and accommodate your dates where they can.

On the day of inspection, Mark was very clear of what his inspection would cover, and it was quite extensive - leaving no stone unturned. After the inspection he gives a debrief of his findings and also explains the next steps. The report was turned around by Cheryl very quickly and was received within an hour of the inspection being completed.

The interaction doesn't end there, as Cheryl and Mark offer to help communicate with developers that may dispute the findings or don't want to rectify issues.

MAH explained clearly their process, including what and how they would survey the property ... got on with it ... and then produced a clear & detailed report. Couldn't have asked for more.

Communication prior to the snag was great. Mark was prompt to the inspection and was incredibly thorough and helpful. He explained exactly what he was going to do, what he was looking for, and the rules he had to follow. We received the report the same day which was helpfully annotated.

Mark offered further support and guidance to us if we needed it while negotiating the snag fixes, for which we are grateful.

The plumber who came to sort the minor leaks Mark found actually commented on how thorough a job our snagger must have done, because one of the leaks was very hard to replicate!
