They scam people be careful. Booked a stay at one of your apartments in Birmingham in mid January, cancelled it a few hours later. I’ve been calling requesting for my refund and I’m being ignored. Would definitely advise against anyone making a booking at such an establishment. Bunch of thieves

I'm writing this review again as my last one has unfortunately been taken down. Staying at the apartment in Birmingham 2023. When arriving we noticed a camera that's situated inside the property which made me and my
partner really uncomfortable. The apartment was not clean and alao found lighters in the bed. The apartment also had a nasty smell when entering. When contacting the owner after we got so much abuse Not professional company at all.

Great Stay in the 2 Bed Apartment in Jewellery quarter in Birmingham.

Convenient private parking, and the apartment was spotless. Great extra having a TV in the bedrooms.

Will be back for sure!

I would give less than 1 star if possible but unfortunately it isn’t. I can also see the owner has replied to every single negative review on Google calling it a “fake” review. Rest assured I’ve come with receipts so I don’t get accused of a fake review.
We’ve booked with this company when they first opened and the apartments were great never had a problem and really enjoyed our stays. Hence why I wouldn’t have left this review but the host blocked us from leaving a review on airbnb so it’s only fair we share our experience due to the cheek of it.
Booked this place for 5 nights. It’s marketed as “luxury” and it’s far from that now. It’s poorly maintained and definitely not cleaned properly. Please see pictures attached, the owner called us “too OCD” for complaining about the condition of this “luxury” apartment.
Firstly it stank of stale smoke, the material on the sofas were covered in stains, the material on the chairs were covered in stains. The bedsheets had hairs and stains on. Not to mention the first time we sat on the toilet seat it came off. We contacted the host who was very hostile and said the toilet seat can’t be faulty they fitted a new one themselves recently? And also stated if we aren’t happy we can checkout?
He came out himself a day later after several messages and couldn’t fix the toilet seat so super glued it down and still had the cheek to say he wouldn’t host us again as we requested 80% refund. Let me just mention we requested the cleaning fee back as the apartment was far from luxury, if it wasn’t so last minute and we had the option of being able to book elsewhere we wouldn’t have stayed.
The stains on the sofa came off with a dettol wipe which I had to do myself hence why felt it was fair to request the cleaning fee back. Please see attached pictures as evidence. This is not a fake review, a very real review from paying guests who have booked these apartments many times but recently it’s gone downhill and is poorly maintained/cleaned. Do not recommend and don’t worry about not hosting us again we wouldn’t book you again.

Apartment was very clean deco was very elegant and overall it was a nice cosy place and host was very polite

The booking process was easy. The apartment itself inside was absolutely stunning very spacious and bright. Only a 10 min walk into Birmingham with plenty of food options.
I loved the fact they checked in after my first night to see if I needed anything. The place was clean and tidy.

Arrive to the apartment at 4pm (check-in time) and the cleaner had only just arrived. The apartment stank and the first alarm batteries needed changing so the alarm was beeping every 20 seconds.
I let the cleaners crack on with the cleaning. When they left the bed sheets were stained, the alarm was still beeping and the used/slept in throws that were on the floor had been placed back on the beds! They were covered in stains and it was disgusting.
The property manager 3 hours later fixed the fire alarm and changed the bed sheets. The apartment still smelt all weekend and the keys have an apple air tag on which kept beeping everything the owners looked at our location which was quite frankly was creepy.
There is nothing luxury about the apartment or service.

We enjoyed a great stay at one of their apartments in Birmingham. It is an ideal location for us to meet our guests from further north and very close to the city centre and at a great price too. Highly recommended.

The place is great. Very cozy and clean. The description of the apartment and the photos correspond completely. We were very satisfied. The apartment is located close to Birmingham city center and the bus station and train station. We recommend it to everyone!

The company was speedy and flexible when responding to my reservation queries. The apartment was clean, spacious and fully furnished with hotel amenities. They provided details videos on how to access the apartment and use the appliances. It was great value for the money I paid.

Silent, clean, comfortable and stylish house. I will choose same place whenever make out a plan to visit Birmingham. Location is good, free parking is very good oportunity

appalling, argumentative person manning their Booking.com feed, arguing with me about 4pm check in when the listing clearly states in black and white it is 3pm, would avoid they are not professional at all, they need to be more selective about their training and recruitment!!

Booked house in Birmingham for 2 weeks.

Easy check-in key collection and drop off. Parking permit provided. Ideal location and well equipped. Minor wear; Garden little overgrown but had been raining.

Email instructions clear. Excellent communication through WhatsApp: ID, enquires, requests. Very professional.

Definitely hope to use Maevela again

Booked a 2 night weekend stay at Maevela luxury apartments! Was amazed how lovely the decor was presented, how well maintained and spotlessly cleaned. Was comfortable and loved that there was a smart tv all set up on Netflix in the bedroom as well, what a nice little treat. Perfect location to all local Birmingham places minutes from the town centre. Communication was quick and efficient excellent at explaining all details of location and how self check in is arranged. No messing about, no worries and continuous communication to make sure all things were up to excellence. Customer service at its greatest and very valued. Shall be definitely booking this place again I’m sure as it was perfect in every way.
