Hi Rachel, I'm sorry to see you have left a 1* review. Unfortunately I cannot ascertain from this review which order your order relates to. I've taken a look under "Rachel" but cannot see any recent orders or emails under this name.

With regards to company status, I'm not sure what information you are looking but can assure you that the business I run is not in the status of "dissolved". Any information you may be looking at is certainly relating to another business.

Do not buy from here

Ordered this item 11th August. Item was needed for my sons birthday on 24th August. I thought 2 weeks would be sufficient time. Received an estimated dispatch of 15-20th August. I hadn't heard anything regarding dispatch so on the 18th I emailed to chase up. I received a reply stating he was on holiday but would still be able to meet dispatch as expected. I asked for a cancellation which was refused on the basis that the item would definitely be received on time. It wasn't. Item was not received until 27th August. As this is a personalised item, they refuse returns. They should have firstly not allowed acceptance of orders if they were not available to fulfil a reasonable time frame and secondly should have cancelled the order when requested. Would not recommend this company and will not be a returning customer.

Hi Gina,

I'm sorry to see you have left a 1* review. I wanted to take the opportunity to clarify some points. Firstly, just to note - I am a "she" not a "he" and have not given you any reason to make such an assumption.

As per our email exchange, the estimated dispatch date was clear when you placed the order and you accepted these when placing the order. These dates had already been adjusted to compensate for me taking a summer break with my family.

As you have stated, your order had an estimate of 15th - 20th. You emailed on the 18th asking for an update on your order, you had an auto reply to this advising that I had been on a break from 7th - 14th. I confirmed your order was in print processing and due to be dispatched in the estimated window, which again was shown to you when ordering and you accepted this when placing your order. I advised that your order was expected to be dispatched on the 19th.

Missing from your review, is that your order was subsequently dispatched on the 19th and this was on time within the estimated dispatch window. After this, until this review today, I did not receive any further contact from you regarding the order

Upon investigating with Royal Mail, despite dispatching within the estimate - Royal Mail had taken from the 19th to the 26th to make the first attempt of delivery, and then attempted a second time on the 27th. The order was dispatched in time to arrive by the date you needed the order, but Royal Mail have let us both down, which again you fail to mention instead you seem to suggest that this had been a fault of mine.

To clarify - you were presented with an estimated dispatch when ordering which you accepted when placing the order. You queried the order and the estimate was confirmed. Your order then dispatched on time within the estimate.

As I'm sure you will understand, once the parcel has been handed to the courier I cannot control the delivery times. I also cannot of course be aware of an issue or look into a matter unless I am notified by the customer. If you wish to raise a complaint with the delivery, I'd encourage you to raise this with Royal Mail as on this occasion they did not meet the delivery timeframe expected.

Only giving this 4 stars at the moment as I haven’t seen the product yet (I will write another one when it arrives in a couple days) BUT Exceptional customer service. I messaged the company about an update on my order as I was worried the pyjamas wouldn’t arrive on time for my little boys birthday, but they were more than helpful and very polite, even offered to upgrade delivery service for free. Really did go above and beyond to help me out and I’m ever so grateful for them. Thankyou again☺️

Ps. It cost nothing to be kind, if you would like an update on your order or if there is a problem please be polite and patient with them. They’re trying their best, they’re managing a business as well as their own personal lives… it can get hard sometimes.

Fantastic quality

Really glad I found Made Personally the quality of the products is fantastic, ordering was really easy, communication has been really good & delivery was quicker than expected for a personalised order. Service Produced and Delivered Above & Beyond Expectations

9 fantastic t-shirts created to fit an 8yr old all the way through to grown adults in a matching theme. All were worn as part of birthday celebrations, produced in a variety of colours each with their own individual character and names. Fantastic quality, attention to detail and outstanding customer service. Completed in a very tight time frame that enabled us to sparkle and standout in the Bahamas celebrating a 50th birthday in style x

Ordered daughter’s pyjamas and tshirt…

Ordered daughter’s pyjamas and tshirt for her birthday, they arrived and her name was spelt wrong and arrived too late. Was refused a refund and offered to send them back and they would re do them, I sent them back and haven’t received any items back or money back and no response to my several emails I have sent!

I'm sorry to see you have left a 1* review. This comes after I replied to your email earlier this afternoon which is disappointing to read.

To clarify a few points from our correspondence:

You acknowledged in our email exchanges that the order was placed last minute and that you had misread the estimated delivery timeframe. The dispatch estimate did in fact overlap with the date the item was needed to be delivered. Your order dispatched on time within the estimate, 1 day earlier in fact than the end of the estimate. As such unfortunately whilst the order was dispatched on time - it arrived later than you had needed the order. Regrettably you only informed of this after the order had arrived.

As per our emails, a refund wasn’t refused — instead, I offered a resolution to remake and resend the items with updated personalisation. I also provided a prepaid return label to be able to return the order.

Your email following up on the status of this was unfortunately missed — for which I apologise — but I responded promptly within 15 minutes when you followed up again today, having recognised the issue hadn’t yet been fully resolved.

Don’t order from this company.

Save yourself the disappointment. I ordered a Thomas the tank engine water bottle for my son. I Ordered on 01/07/25 with an estimated dispatch of 04/07/25-08/07/25 while I appreciate this is an estimate there was no correspondence at all other than the order received confirmation. I chased the order on 13th July as I had still not heard anything and received a slightly patronising response about estimated dispatch and that it was a slightly delayed processing time. On 27th July still nothing so I sent another message and I am yet to receive a response. I would say this is more than a slightly delayed processing time when it’s 3 weeks past the estimate and the customer service/response is poor.

As mentioned in my response to your message on 13th July, your order was processing slightly later than the estimated dispatch window. This was explained at the time, and I confirmed that I was working through all orders as quickly as possible. Your bottle has since been dispatched, and a dispatch confirmation email was sent earlier today.

Your follow-up message was received outside of business hours this weekend. As I run the business by myself, I hadn’t yet had the opportunity to reply before seeing this review come through.

While I understand delays can be frustrating, the order has been fulfilled, and the processing delay was communicated promptly when you reached out.

I do appreciate your patience.

Birthday pjs

Ordered a set of birthday pjs for my daughters birthday when they arrived I opened the parcel enough to check the personalisation which was correct. Opened the parcel 3weeks later for her birthday to find an error on the lettering ('When I wake up up I will be'). Emailed to be told that i ordered the error (1 photo had the error on in the website out of 3 and i ordered based on the initial image) and was out of the return window. Pretty appalling in my opinion when it was a mistake on their end. Also found the email response very unapologetic considering it was a mistake made by them.

Following my order I was asked for a review of the item, I reviewed it after I found the error and funnily enough the negative review doesn't appear on their website!

I'm sorry to see you have left a 1* review.

I completely understand your frustration regarding the wording on the pyjamas. As explained in our email correspondence, the design you received did match the product images that were displayed on the website at the time you placed your order — including the duplicated word. While I fully acknowledge this was an error in the design itself, it was unfortunately visible in all of the listing photos at the time. I corrected this as soon as you brought it to my attention.

Regarding the reporting of an issue, I have a 14-day policy for raising concerns, which is in place to ensure consistency and fairness across all personalised orders. Your order was delivered on 28th June, and I didn't receive any contact from you until the 22nd July — this unfortunately falls outside of the returns period. As noted in your email too, this was also the day after the item would have been intended to be worn, given the nature of the "When I wake up" design.

I’m sorry I wasn’t able to offer a resolution at that stage. As you mentioned, you did check the order on it's arrival. Unfortunately you hadn't reported the issue until after 14 days and after also after items may have been used. Had this been reported within 14 days I would have of course arranged a replacement for you.

In terms of product reviews, these are managed and published independently through the platform I use and not manually controlled by me — they may take some time to appear once submitted.

Product not received

I ordered a personalised water bottle for a child’s birthday present on 29/6/25. Estimated dispatch was between 2/7/25-4/7/25. It is now 25/7/25 and the water bottle still hasn’t arrived and the child’s birthday has been and gone. I would not rate this company for speed or working towards their estimated dispatch dates.

Perfect! Definitely recommend!

I’ve been shopping around for the perfect personalised Mickey Mouse (1st birthday) pyjamas for my nearly 1 year old. I was dubious as some of the Mickey Mouse’s don’t look identical to the real one on some websites.
However, I am so happy with my purchase I received from this business.
The Mickey Mouse and writing on them is perfect and the quality of the pyjamas is really nice.
Highly recommend, I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Top customer service

Ordered a personalised tshirt for my granddaughter's birthday, unfortunately the Royal Mail managed to lose it but Made Personally were brilliant and really went the extra mile to produce a replacement and get it in the post so it arrived on time. It was that real personal touch and concern for their customers that makes Made Personally stand out. Fantastic customer service, I was really impressed.

Outstanding customer service and fab product

Brilliant options on the website. Followed by some outstanding customer service. I was convinced my little girls personalised items wouldn't arrive in time and they arrived and looked absolutely amazing! We will have one very happy 3 year old, and a very chuffed mum!

Quality garment & excellent service

The Taylor Swift t-shirt that I ordered for my granddaughter’s birthday which arrived today is of very good quality fabric and the design is beautiful. The owner went above and beyond to ensure I received it on time as I had made a mistake with the time frame.This is going to be loved by the birthday girl. Would be happy to purchase again from this seller.

Broken product, ignored by customer services

We bought 2 personalised water bottles recently, one unicorn and one Thomas the Tank. Our daughter’s bottle broke very soon after purchase with part of the plastic detaching from the closing mechanism around the straw meaning my daughter can no longer take it to preschool as it doesn’t close and leaks everywhere. She loved the bottle and is very upset that she can’t use it. We paid good money for the bottles and have emailed twice just to be totally ignored by the company. Not even an acknowledgment of the emails. Very disappointing, would never use this company again and unfortunately can not recommend to others.

I'm sorry to see your 1-star review and to hear that your daughter is upset — I completely understand how disappointing that must be.

Firstly, my sincere apologies for missing your emails. I’ve looked back and can see that your first message was sent outside of working hours on 16/06, which I unfortunately missed, and your second email arrived just earlier this week on 24/06. I hadn’t yet had a chance to respond before your review was posted.

With regard to your order, as outlined in my returns policy (https://www.madepersonally.co.uk/returns-refunds/), any issues with an item must be reported within 14 days of delivery. In this case, your first contact was made 24 days after the item was delivered, which unfortunately falls outside of that timeframe.

I’ve reviewed the photos you sent and can see that parts of the lid’s closing mechanism have broken away. Each bottle lid is removed and tested during the print process, so I can confirm it was in good working order prior to dispatch. The nature of the damage shown suggests breakage rather than a manufacturing fault.

As this falls outside the returns period and appears to be due to accidental damage, I’m afraid I’m not able to offer a replacement. I will also follow up via email to ensure this response reaches you directly.

I’m genuinely sorry this wasn’t the outcome you were hoping for, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
